  1. Here's cloak and orlan ears clipping problem:
  2. That is a funny spelling error. I have a cat named Slon. That's a funny name. In Russian slon means elephant.
  3. Hmm, I wonder what will happen to all our POE1 pets and especially space pig and obsidian wurm. I hope we'll be able to get them again in POE2 with cool bonuses.
  4. Says here I can have 1 melee weapon proficiency: Yet here I am with 2 and I can also choose ranged weapon proficiency: What's more, at level 5 I can choose yet another proficiency. And it doesn't matter if it's a multiclassed character or single classed.
  5. As I've mentioned before injuries will be toned down, we'll have a much easier time dealing with them next time. Why not create a char who does both?
  6. Hmm, I wonder what companions will have high Perception in POE2. Eder will have an option to multiclass to rogue, ranger aumaua woman will probably have high perception, and that blue orlan pirate also looks like a roguish type, but will they have high enough Perception? It would be better if we could distribute their attributes however we want, especially if we choose to multiclass them, though I'm not sure we'll be allowed.
  7. Was trying to remember an old game where little dragons had a perch nest in protagonist's room, finally did: https://youtu.be/TniYV5XENuo?t=2312 Those little dragons look very similar to those in POE, could make them a perch as well, won't take much space.
  8. Is party assisted skill checks actually a thing outside scripted interactions and conversations?
  9. Well, first of all traps are valuable because you can disarm them, gather them and set them up for enemies, or sell them. Traps are fun and keep you on your toes in dungeons, especially if there are enemies nearby. Second, if you watched last stream traps are gonna be toned down and not all of them gonna take away health, which gonna be 15% instead of 25%.
  10. No, I don't want Mechanics back as traps detector, Perception logically suits better by description. You can notice a hidden trap, but to actually disarm it you need to have a knowledge of mechanics.
  11. Where, do you think. those "crew mutinies" are coming from? Here's how to deal with them: Works every time
  12. I've question - will Resolve be multiplicative or additive when it comes to spells? I think it should be the same as Strength when it comes to counting damage.
  13. Hence - lazy. Fighter ability tree is like a barren field, lol.
  14. So, from what I've gathered from the last stream general passive abilities (weapon styles, for example) will be both in abilities (where we pick active abilities as well) and talents (where we pick proficiencies) and we'll be able to take them from either, but without duping obviously. Personally, sounds kinda lazy and confusing. Passive abilities and talents will overlap instead of being unique. I'd rather passive abilities were all placed into talents (because who needs more than 2-3 proficiencies anyway) and make some actually new active abilities and modals for classes (especially fighter) instead of just copy pasting from POE1.
  15. I like it much better. Less reasons to spam rest. However, it appears that some wounds that don't reduce health are considered minor, so I've nitpicky question - why would you die of 4 minor wounds?
  16. Will they? I mean, devs didn't mention any skills tweaks anywhere at all.
  17. Big Animat Unit
  18. Well, someone has to do all of these things. You can't silently get close to a person to pickpocket him unless you have stealth. You can't get past a person to lockpick a chest he's guarding if you don't have stealth (this was shown in one of the video updates, btw). You can't disarm traps with mechanics unnoticed by enemies if you don't have stealth. Of course, you could have one character have stealth+pickpocket, another stealth+mechanics, but with party of only 5 and so many skills with so few skill points I'm afraid duping something will make that party miss out much on other skill checks. But if you leave it all to one character that character won't be able to take none of the other active skills. So your supposedly nimble rogue will be clumsy as an oaf just because he won't have enough skill points for athletics. P.S. It's ok to bash the idea, guys. I know it's far from perfect, I just get this gut feeling that skill points will remain scarce and skill checks high, and it bugs me to no end because I won't be able to properly roleplay my character.
  19. Well, in POE2 we'll meet more of Concelhaut's loony arch-wizards "friends". Arkemyr being one of them. I hope Concelhaut's skull will have some quest or convo about it.
  20. Yea, it's unknown what the skills ceiling gonna be, but this system can easily be tweaked by changing value in extra attribute points.
  21. I've an idea about lack of skill points. Just gonna leave it here: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/94933-an-idea-dealing-with-lack-of-skill-points/
  22. I think in POE2 you will want to collect them because they will give various bonuses, sort of like another trinket. Also, I believe Concelhaut's Skull will return.
  23. Not even close, Grieving Mother is creepy with those dead fish eyes. The only thing they have in common are hair style and camera angle.
  24. Because they're cute and cuddly . I think everyone who loves animals loves pets in games. Personally, I'm all for a little pet zoo on a ship.
