RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - VISUAL NOVELS ALLOWED
The world's really gone to seed when people can flaunt their heresy that out in the open. Bring the pitchforks and the tar guys.

What did you do today?
Oh my, looks like the leftists are trying to introduce too much regulation again... oh... wait. Yeah, the EPP's gonna EPP. What a surprise. Le sigh.

To touch back briefly to the new X-Files season here's a clip from one of the episodes: I want a Mr. Chuckle Teeth spinoff. That thing is, to quote Will Ferrell, that thing is first team all American creepy.

World Cup 2018
Jump kick might be overstating it, anti-german bias speaking here, obviously. As for who'll win, I don't know. Brazil looked really strong so far and Spain seems to have removed itself from the competition. I doubt firing the coach right before the group phase was a good idea. I'd be down with an underdog winning this time.

World Cup 2018
Yeah I know there are actually people who believe that Neuer's Chuck Norris jump kick against Higuain wasn't a penalty but that is sort of a ridiculous opinion. One that even German referees don't agree with. And you need to get your priorities straight. Anything is preferable to Brazil or Germany winning the cup.

World Cup 2018
What was wrong with the 2014 final ? What wasn't?

World Cup 2018
Shouldn't be an issue this time with the new video support system. At least I hope so. I'd be glad if there wasn't a repeat of the 2014 final. *cough*

Finished The X-Files Season 11. Had the best standalone episodes in a long while but the myth arc was just terrible. It has been terrible since after S6's Two Fathers/One Son but this is a new low even going by S9's and S10's mythology episodes. It's sad that Gillian Anderson doesn't want to continue. It's the first time I'd actually look forward to another season of X-Files since, well, '99 I guess.

But... but... autism is caused by tiny parasites living in your intestines. That's why chemical bleach enemas help autistic kids.

Ah, FFS. Nice typo tho. :D

Started Elex. After Gothic I knew what I was getting myself into. I'm enjoying it so far, the only problem is that I absolutely don't like the starter area and I'm actually thinking of skipping it. It's a long ass track across the map but meh, better that than being yelled at every time I open the inventory.

What did you do today?
Well the YouTube Rebel Alliance screwed the better of the posted videos up, so here's a slightly sped up mirror flipped video:

That's not really what I was going for, but I appreciate the reply nontheless. It's a bit too late to discuss this in detail, I just wanted to point out that between two apparently equally unlikely scenarios we can - usually - pick one that is superior through Occam's razor, at least until such a time new evidence or observation falsify one or both assumptions. Not that this truly applies to faith or the idea of a creator entity. Because faith is not falsifiable by default.

Stop mansplaining, thank you very much.

What are you playing right now?
Yeah, that's it. And apparently even a newer version than the one that comes with the default GOG installation. The optional content is in the "Plus" patch portion. I never tried the restored content so I have no idea what it really does.

Emphasis added by me. What a schizophrenic post.

What are you playing right now?
^ The GOG version comes with the unofficial fixes applied. You can read about that in the Bloodlines forum. You only need to download and apply anything if you want more than fixes e.g. the optional components. edit: It's fairly easy to check, install the game, it'll tell you that the version is Unofficial Patch 9.7 - not sure, could be that there's a newer unofficial patch out at the moment, but my installation came with 9.7

What are you playing right now?
It's patched up and ready to go but with only the bugfixes from the unofficial patch and no restored or changed content.

I don't know, considering the gross overpopulation I'd say it's more selfish to actually produce tiny little bastards. We need less people on the planet, not more. For the good of literally everyone and everything.

Except it's not, but that is a whole different can of worms and wouldn't really belong into a political thread anyway. But it's a very human trait, looking for patterns and order where there might be none.

Its relevant insofar as people can think one thing, and then years later change their minds and think another thing. *GASP* Also, people are stupid and gullible, as evidenced by the approximate 3.8 BILLION Christians and Muslims that CURRENTLY belive in a sky overlord. BTW, has the worldwide infection rate of AIDS increased or are you just locked onto Africa since that specific place has had an AIDS rate increase? Sure Trump is free to change his mind about something, God knows he does that all the time. It's not about what he said though but about the apparently new policy at the EPA of not bothering with existing asbestos and all that jazz, just proving that Trump hasn't changed his mind about this particular subject. The overall number of new (known) HIV infections is on a slow decline since the late 2000s but the disease is still a huge issue and far from no longer as problematic as predicted just because it's no longer a death sentence in the West. The article's statement is true from a rather limited point of view...

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - VISUAL NOVELS ALLOWED
Even the best infrastructure won't solve physical realities - if you play on a remote server on a device that does nothing but stream the game's output and relay inputs there's going to be input lag. And that becomes noticable VERY quickly. Sure certain sort of games can make it look like that doesn't matter that much through pacing and good client code (which there won't be any) like most MMOs but the idea of playing Quake with a 30+ms delay after I click on the mouse? Ah hell, no way.
