G3N13 aka. G3 was the guy with the upside down Xzar avatar. He was active at Interplay's Baldur's Gate forums and later went to Ashford City and left after Barren made a WoW subforum at Lord Tingeling's request. Things were weird there until Barren's hoster just died and had no backups. And yeah, Silvy is Peterond Silverbow from BIS. I'm not sure the original Lair should be counted either, itwasn't exactly a replacement board because Interplay was far from sinking when she made her own after some community drama. I'm no longer sure what that was about, I think it was YoP and how that "cesspool of flamewars" stained the boards but damned if I know if that caused her and Tess to leave and do their own thing or not. Extremist disappearead at the same time due to an accident, not sure if you remember. Were you still a moderator when Kitty (no longer know her full nick or name, Katherine something? community manager from Interplay) managed to get us free games for moderating and we all picked Lionheart of all things? edit: I think I asked you that Lionheart question before and you said no. Stupid brain!

Winterwind (aka 1888). Although that's pretty dead at the moment wiht Josan being all busy and married. G3 made his own forum which is still going but it's private and invitation only, so we're not supposed to share the link. Silverbow is still there and posts every now and then. If you like I can ask him, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind you having the link.

Thank you! Guess I'll be diving into one hell of a rabbit hole after work today. You can find out about Qistina and Eldar if you're so inclined. Just keep in mind that Qistina was always deadly serious while oby at least... well... we're not entirely sure oby was for real. He might have been an early prototype Russian posting AI. There'd be so much more to show but, to borrow from PS:T, time lays waste to all things. Especially forum posts. When people say that the net never forgets a thing they have no idea what they're talking about. I remember hilarious posts from Andy at tarna's coffee shop - and Ashford City, for a time. Two of the Interplay replacement boards that sprang up after we lost our second home to Herve's Cataclysm. He constantly kept trolling everyone and claimed Viet Nam is actually spelled Veit Nam. Times like these I wish the 'net wouldn't forget so much.

You might not guess it by the description of TrueNeutral, but there were worse things than oby. There once was a forum romance so terrible it shook the foundations of this board, setting fire to unburnable things and striking terror even into the most steadfast of hearts. But the storm has passed and Bruce now sits, every day, lost in loneliness pining for Qis, Destroyer of the West.

If this is an alt... then who is the main? dun duuuun duuuuuuuuun Don't you know there are only like 5 actual people who post here! In the end, we're all alts of Gromnir. Scratch that, we're all manifestations of Ravel. Actually we all are Eldar. Even the five who believe they're not.

The GOG versions worked for me without any issues. Then again I never had any problems with KOTOR at all, except for the weird bug that some dialogues would suddenly fast forward, which a reload of an earlier usually fixed. Caused me to rund around spamming quick save all the time.

Finishing the campaign it will unlock the Inner Sphere systems for you to visit. Yeah. It's not a very exciting reward for finishing the game.

...and some things would probably be controversial now. I remember when the powers that were at the BIS board gave Caelis the title "Pink Islander", that'd be liable to cause a Twatter ****storm abous cis something something homophobia something these days.

I feel like he's playing a character, which makes this hilarious. I agree, that's hilarious and far from being painful to watch. -
Nation Fillion is either Mal or Captain Hammer, depending on the situation.

Looks like Trump wants to go back to the mercantilism of the good old motherland. Maybe he'll annex India at some point. Too many engineers flooding the US.

Aye, fancy is the right word for it. Based on a scale from freezing an equal parts mixture of ice, water and salt at 0°, the freezing point of pure water at 32° and the average body temperature of a human at 96° back in 1724, at a time where neither measuring the average human body temperature nor mixing ice, water and salt equally could be reproduced with the necessary degree of accuracy. Not to mention that it's utterly nuts to limit a temperature scale at values like 0, 32 and 96 when the base of the number system used to express it is 10. edit: In all fairness though, mordern Fahrenheit is defined as 32° for the freezing point of water to 212, the boiling point at normal atmospheric pressure. It doens't make the scale look less weird for anyone else in the world but at least it's no longer a complete mess.

Congratulations Spain, by the way. The less buttholes like Rajoy creep around in Europe the better. Now if we could only get rid of the EPP altogether...

Might be that you won't like the ending that much tho.

Yeah, and people actually think the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is actually a dictatorship. How can it be, having democratic and republic in the name? ''People's'' is the key word in it Do you disagree that Nazi's were socialistic or that they were nationalistic??? They weren't socialsts, no. Hitler violently purged what little his party had that could be considered socialist (Night of the Long Knives) and proceeded to set up a system of extreme right wing ideas combined with an economic "third option" that was neither socialist nor capitalist, not much surprising considering that the Nazis viewed both as the enemy. Business and state formed a symbiotic relationship in Nazi Germany, not one where the state owned everything (communist) or the state keeps out of it as much as possible (capitalism). It wasn't that different from what currently both right wing and left wing populists like to criticize about the current political climate - that big business can do as it pleases and buys favor with the governments. The Germans at the time were supposed to just take it. What makes Nazism and far-left extremism appear similar is the societal collectivism that formed the basis of the organisation of the state.

More X-Files Season 11, just watched this Season's Darin Morgan episode and it's... pure gold. Quite possibly the best episode he's written yet. As long as they make one episode per season like that I don't care how crappy the mytharc is or how lame the other episodes are. Moar plx.

Played Yoga Fire for 45h now and I feel like I'm not really progressing. A lot of that might actually come from leisure sailing across the world map, listening to the sea shanties. Kind of loving the setting and the music.

ESO looks to me pretty successful, even though the craze is long over. I doubt they would go poaching in their own hunting ground. A Fallout MMO would be self-inflicted competition for an already dwindling player base. Something that didn't work out for Sony with EQ and EQ2 running at the same time and that was when MMOs really took off.

Wasn't there only one Bioware game since ME3 and it bombed like hell? Inquisition and ME Andromedo. So 2, technically. I also won't buy Anthem. Neither DA:I nor Andromeda bombed "like hell" in terms of sales. What they didn't do was meet EA's inflated expectations* and both games had issues that didn't endear them to the fanbase. * No idea where those came from. DA2 was not very well received and ME3 ended up with fans sending BioWare thousands of red, blue and green muffins - and all of them were vanilla flavored. I found that quite hilarious. -
Sorry, I fixed the link in the post. It was... a joke. I’m American, so, the fine details of Polish politics are limited, so, I missed the joke you were trying to make. The entire world thinks Poland has a right wing populist government with a nationalistic, conservative and religious bent, except for Sharp_One. For him his government is run by socialist christians.

Sorry, I fixed the link in the post. It was... a joke. I wanted to link to a specific post where he said the current Polish government is run by socialist christians. I could have just stated the joke outright but then he'd be back here demanding to know exactly where he stated that, or claim I misinterpreted his meaning while quoting verbatim.
-
Guys, what? The current Polish government is led by socialist christians, where do you get the right wing idea from?
