Guys, what? The current Polish government is led by socialist christians, where do you get the right wing idea from?

On social issues maybe, everything else not so much. At least for the parts of Europe that were never in the Soviet sphere of influence, we're not that homogenic. We've got state run companies, socialized healthcare and things like a needs based minimum income. Our moderate right wing parties aren't debating whether socialized healthcare should exist - they just question how much it should cover.

Pretty much. Especially when looking at Twatter posts. The funniest part is that the loonies on both sides of the spectrum are really similar. They're both collectives that are progressive for the sake of being progressive and reactionary for the sake of being reactionary. Both sides full of groupthink and accusing each other of it. It's hilarious when viewed from outside the bubbles. edit: Even more hilarious when you realize that the political "left" in the US would still be right of our moderate right wing parties here in Commieurop.

The argument might have more traction if ABC hadn't dumped Maher while he was still working there after making fun of Bush after 9/11. Although that was in a time before Fecesbook and Twatter, so maybe that doesn't count.

I doubt Beth will ever throw something the way of Obisian again after the little Metacritic issue went public.

If Fallout 76 is a Rust clone, will it also have your male characters' member size of your characters tied to your Steam ID? edit: Wait, what, really, the P-word is censored? Pfff. NIPPLES.

You mean like Justin Bieber is actually a government plant meant to undermine the second amendment to the point where people stay docile when the government comes for their arms... and later themselves?

Will this b ethe answer: Link1 Whataboutism, the #1 go to fallacy for the (alt-)right. I know it's doubly hard to understand for the them because they actually really believe all the media that isn't alt-right is run by Soros (or whatever Joo's the enemy now) with the same agenda but demanding that a different company fires someone else for a similar slight is somewhat ludicrous. Not that Maher shouldn't get fired. Comparing Trump to an Orangutan is an insult to these beautiful and intelligent animals.

Cinema Paradise - the Movie Thread Transformed
My own opinions fall somewhere between Mike's and Jay's. Although I attributed that lighting issue to the stupid 3D showings. They're all much darker than they should be.

Ah, k. Must've missed that. Not that I care much for a new Fallout game. Bethesda RPGs are just not for me, I learned that the hard way with Morrowind.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - VISUAL NOVELS ALLOWED
Beth's twitch stream has a Fallout figure against a background Fallout-themed standby screen. Since this is the day and age of... whatever... people are going crazy over it and watching absolutely nothing for hours. Paint Drying was a joke and a protest, this is for real. Oh well and Obsidian confirmed via Twatter that it's not them working on the new Fallout game. Assuming it even is a new Fallout. It might as well be Switch releases or remakes of the old games for newer platforms. And there's people who argue that the 80ies weren't the better decade to grow up in. Riiight.

What are you playing right now?
They're scrolls you can find in missions, when you read them they give you a password for the black market (three words connected with dashes, e.g. OARED-LURID-JINKS). I might be wrong but they have a higher chance of spawning in mines and factory settings. Offices not so much.

Somehow I've lost all interest in fighting games. I used to play a hell of a lot of Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct way back when but that is so far in the past it seems like a lifetime ago.

What did you do today?
I think I might have solved an issue at work that's been hounding me for the better part of two weeks now. It still depends on an external factor (meh, the customer) and might fail due to that, but it is a simple and elegant solution, and the alternative is to call off the entire project. I'm cautiously optimistic that neither side wants that.

I'm just hoping that As for the reviving the hosts, well, that's probably still possible just not feasible right now, what with the chaos and all, and DELOS sure has no interest in reviving them. All they really care about is their little side project.

A bag of chips and a chili-cheese burger if you'd be so kind.

Nah, the thing you can play at the moment is essentialy a tech demo version of the multiplayer part - assuming you have a lot of horsepower under your desk. Not that long ago an update made the game almost unplayable even on very high end computers. Oh, huh. Thanks for the clarification. Quite an anomaly of a game. Well since you said you're not following the game, here's the real kicker. Chris Roberts managed to raise a crowdfunded total sum of roughly 180 million dollars for the game so far and there's no end in sight in terms of money coming in. I'm pretty sure that the Jehova's Witnesses are currently working on a space sim.

Ah, should have elaborated. Nah, I'm not sarcastic, just a little bitter, is all. I know it's partially playable. It's been partially playable for longer than most other games need to be released, the likes of Duke Nukem Forever aside. I just don't think it will ever progress much beyond partially playable for the MMOish part. It might, maybe, but I'm not too optimistic.

I'm fairly certain they will manage to release Squadron 42 in a playable* state at some point. Everything else, i.e. the persistent multiplayer galaxy where you're supposed to take off on a planet, fly around in the atmosphere, go to space, have space simmish arcade combat and then board a station to play some FPS section, well, no. That's never coming out as planned. I'd love to be wrong but it really looks like Chris Roberts has bitten off way more than he can chew. And eh, he can't come clean either. He'd be tarred, feathered, drawn and quartered after he was hanged. *Doesn't necessarily mean good.

Can I change forum display name?
Not that it really matters that much but the post you quoted contains a healthy dose of sarcasm. Marceror has a long standing feature request that got ignored so far. In all fairness to the mods and administrators changing a display name is probably a lot easier to do than implement or change actual board features. I mean we've been living with this travesty of a quote function and WYSIWYG editor for a very, very long time now and I reckon if anything were to change THAT wold be the priority. Not a message telling everyone that you fixed your post. *shrug*

Started watching The X-Files Season 11. The first two episodes had more action scenes and shots fired than the entire run of the show so far. Not digging that so much.

Can't boot up Windows, help please
My father had a similar issue once with his Windows 10 after an update. Windows "forgot" to load up the command shell. When you're on the black screen with only the cusor try hitting CTRL + ALT + DELETE and see if that works. If so start the Task Manager and use "run new task" from the file menu. Enter "explorer", press return.
