What's the real difference anyways? Anarcho-Capitalist is pretty much Neo-feudalism. No, it isn't. Neo-feudalism is pretty much what we've got going on in much of the western world right now. -

What's the real difference anyways? In a nutshell, there's a bunch of prissy nit folks who think they're anarchists who are essentially Marxist ideologues that hate capitalism who think that you can only be an anarchist if you adhere to their commie ways. They flip prissy nit nerd rage when anyone suggests one can be an anarchist and engage in types of economic activity that could be considered capitalism. No joke, some of the hardest retarded nerd raging I've seen on the internet is the Marxist leaning anarchists flipping out on non-Marxist leaning anarchists saying essentially 'You're not an anarchist!! ' as if it's some exclusive club. There are entire websites dedicated to this insane nerd raging. If you want to see some pure insanity, go find one of these websites, or just any website that preaches a Marxist idea of anarchy, sign into their forums and make a post saying essentially that 'Capitalism is good'. I'm not sure I know of a more stigmatized trigger word for a group of people than the word 'capitalism' for the group of anarchists out there that spend their life hating on it. It actually would probably be a troll's wet dream come true to post about capitalism in a positive light on on one of their forums, that is if you aren't just instabanned. Because of all of this some label folks who would prefer to live in a capitalist world sans government or any other ruling class as 'Anarcho-capitalists', and many commie leaning folks use the term in disdain. Most of these folks just call themselves Anarchists from what I've seen though. Note however that not all Anarchists that would prefer a commune type lifestyle are bat guano crazy and think being an anarchist requires adherence to their economic ideals and an ingrained hatred for capitalism. Most folks who self identify as an Anarchist are actually fairly intelligent and rational human beings in my experience, no matter what economy they'd prefer to partake in. -
Yea.. except we don't know all the circumstances surrounding the event.

We don't discriminate in this thread. It's about all types of sausages.

The cat lady arbitrarily shut down a thread because she fails to see the natural connection between LGBT discussions and sausages. Unfortunate and somewhat mind-boggling even as there's so much relation between the two. And it's not like this connection isn't mainstream knowledge either. Last year a G pretending to be a T who called himself sausage won Eurovision. And just recently a bunch of big guys selling their sausages became LGBT activists in Indiana. I think the discussion about the connection between the LGBT movement and sausages should continue, if only just to educate the cat lady. Here's another interesting article on sausages within the LGBT community. http://lgbtweekly.com/2015/02/05/sm-is-all-about-experimentation/

So your ultimate nightmare would be Ronald McDonald with nukes and a fervent following? I must admit. That scenario has never crossed my mind until now, and it is quite troubling.

Ohh yeah, you are sooooo enlightened, not at all confused by the "politically correct" language that is designed to avoid alienating Muslims, and the fact of 'Islamist terrorism' that consumes that region, that us "bigots" seem to try to address. And in light of all the church burning and attacks on Christians in Africa, I'd wish there was less of the former whitewashing the issue and more of the later trying to promote religious tolerance in the Islamic world. Speaking of, I find the Egyptian president, El Sisi, recent actions encouraging. It might be just another streak of optimism, but for once it doesn't appear as pure lips service for the benefit of western audience. You assume much, and are wrong about much based on those assumptions. My post was a general comment on a dialogue that's gone on for quite some time on this forum, and reached a height earlier this year with the Charlie Hebdo fiasco. It was also a response directed at the person I replied to, based on their history of posts on the subject matter at hand and others. One may as well have used 'Black People kill 147 in Kenya' as the thread title, or 'Religious people kill 147 in Kenya', or 'Somalians kill 147 in Kenya'. The descriptive terminology used is misleading and done to incite or to serve to comfort the bigoted views oft expressed on this forum and throughout the modern western world, it has little to no relevance in regards to what actually happened in Kenya.

It saddens me also to imagine Sadimir Putin with empty plate before him. Do not be sad. Putin gets to feast on this sumptuous looking delicatessen. He eats well.

Yes I am well aware of that .... I read it as an outside of the local area LGBT group came in trying to stir something up, the local gay population told them they didn't want any part of it, the outside group left. You right that could be what he meant, I just don't believe it The LGBT community faces enough discrimination on a daily faces from people who push a homophobic agenda I find it hard to believe they would discriminate against themselves like that especially in a place like Poland which is relatively conservative about gay rights anyway. I would think the LGBT community would stick together but you never know How do you reconcile these two conflicting thoughts in your head? You say you're aware of and acknowledge that not all gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender people agree with all that the various 'LGBT movement' groups say or do in their name. Yet you also find it hard to believe said people who don't agree with such groups would tell such groups to F off rather than let them speak for them in a manner they disagree with. It stands to simple and basic reason that one would follow the other. ie: A Jew who disagrees with Netanyahu is likely to get more upset with him than a non-Jew when Netanyahu has the audacity to start speaking for all Jews. Pretending he has all of their voices behind his as well. ie: I don't like Obama. But I'd get down right pissed off at him if he showed up in my town and had the audacity to start speaking on my behalf on something that I don't agree with him on. Pretending that he has my voice behind his as well. Similar examples would be Feminist X speaking for all women, or the ones I gave earlier of the AARP speaking for all retired people, or NAACP and the Rainbow Coalition speaking for all black people. And as an aside, all of the examples of audacious folks are also examples of dishonest and disingenuous folks.

Okay that video was really good and it made me hungry I see that cook says you mustn't prick the skin, I always do because then the steam can escape and there is less chance of the sausage splitting ? Yea... don't prick the skin. That's an amateur move. Cooking sausages well takes some practice. You've got to get the right temperature. Note how the cook says the temp is low. Slow cooking sausages is the way to go (slow cooking is the way to go for a lot of things). You won't split them if you cook them right, and they will be much juicier and tastier.

Another incident with black men getting shot by police
Valsuelm replied to Drowsy Emperor's topic in Way Off-Topic
Apparently the had more than one press conference on the issue. The one I watched didn't have any morons shouting. -
This entire thread is about sausages in one way or another. People's favorite types of sausages, People's favorite way to prepare sausages. People who have sausages but think they don't. People who have sausages but wish they didn't. People who don't have sausages but wish they did. People who don't think your opinion matters if you have a sausage but don't want more. And so on.

There is no LGBT community in my area. Gay people kicked them out when they wanted to start some protests or whatever. I'm talking in general. Just look at the OP. Bashing me for having an opinion. Well not personally, but if "white heterosexual males shouldn't speak" or "kill all men" shouldn't offend me personally then neither should my rants about LGBT in general or the limerick in PoE as those are not aimed at specific person. As for the vicious circle, I'm not a big fan of turning the other cheek. In fact most people aren't. What LGBT is building up is a mass hate that will eventually turn bloody. And innocent homosexuals etc. that are not part of and don't want to be a part of LGBT movements will get killed. That's how people are. What do you mean Gay people kicked them out ? The word LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender How can Gay people kick themselves out of your area? Believe it or not Bruce, not all gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender people agree with all that the various 'LGBT movement' groups say or do in their name. In fact, most gay people I personally know disagree with a great deal of what they say and do, some quite vehemently. It's not unlike the fact that a great deal of black people don't agree with what the Rainbow Coalition or NAACP says or does in their name. Or the fact that a lot of older people don't agree with what the AARP says and does in their name.

The Weird, Random, and Interesting things that Fit Nowhere Else Thread..
Valsuelm replied to Raithe's topic in Way Off-Topic
No one is forcing anyone. Re-read the article. True, but tone of the reasons that DirectTV probably pulled the campaign was because of the fact that the complaint was built up from their competitor. http://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/closed-settlements/41542-vitaminwater-deceptive-marketing-class-action-settlement/ That took 3 years before a settlement was reached and wasn't even touched by the better business bureau or anyone like that. In one case you have a company arguably slandering another company with false info, and in another just a case of arguable false advertising that only hurts the gullible and uninformed consumer, maybe. Proving you are damaged in some manner is monumentally easier in the former example than it is in the latter. A single entity (company or person) is just about always going to have an easier time in a legal battle than any class action body, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is ability to organize a legal suit. Anyone who actually suffers some kind of damage from libel is just about always going to have a far easier time getting their case to move forward than someone whose damages don't amount to much more than they were duped out of a few bucks.- 488 replies

Most of the good places aren't kosher but they are usually using a certain combination of lamb and calf/cow and local Arab spices. Israel is probably one of the best places to eat meat all around the world because it is a melting pot of many cultures ,so you can find things like a kebab made out of a very famous French specie of cows called Limousin that have eaten a special kind of grass that can be found only in Israel ,you can add that to a Lebanese humus and Turkish falafel and you get a multicultural meal that you won't get anywhere else. An American cousin of mine was traveling all around the US and tried many of the great restaurants there and after a week with me here he said he never ate anything like the food in Israel.(Of course you need to know where the good places are) The U.S. is one hell of a bigger melting pot of cultures than Israel is. There's good food in every nation. It's always a matter of knowing where the good places are. Kosher food is generally of better quality than what one will find in most of the rest of the west because it's generally held to higher quality standards than the industrial food supply companies have (the companies that supply most restaurants and grocery stores in the west). The same is true of Amish food.

And if she beat the crap out of you or perhaps even killed you rather than run away, a great many people would think she was within her rights to do so. All she'd have to say is 'self defense'.

Another incident with black men getting shot by police
Valsuelm replied to Drowsy Emperor's topic in Way Off-Topic
Link? I saw the press conference and no one was screaming at anyone. For a change, the mayor and police chief should be commended. Far too often, when stuff like this happens the mayor and police chief try and justify murder, if not help cover up the incident. There were several disruptions when people shouted at the Police Chief, he even said at one time he was going to end the interview but he continued Link or it didn't happen. -

Bonus XP for small parties
Valsuelm replied to Ineth's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
IE games just gave you a set amount of XP for whatever and it was divided amongst your party, however many you had in it. There was no bonus programmed into the game, like there is with PoE. In general, XP is all sorts of messed up in PoE.
