How/when are these patches downloaded? I ask because theres been what, two patches already, and Ive never seen my Steam or FO game actually downloading and installing anything. Ive never seen a patch download screen like mkreku linked so Im not sure anythings been patched. I tried looking in my Library and didnt see anything obviously asking me to "update" or anything like that so does it just do it in the background?

Wait, did I misread? I thought it said tax increases and spending cuts? I was referring to the "Bush era tax cuts" that are currently due to expire and are being considered for extension. My bad, Gftd called it a UHC and I kept saying it. I guess we can just call it Obama's Health Care plan. Whats the difference? Serious question.

*riots* So it will only cost $930 Billion? Whew. Seriously though, it would be great if it all worked like it does on paper but you and I both know thats not how our government operates. I wouldnt be at all surprised to see the UHC wildly overbudget in under five years. This has the serious potential to bankrupt the US. Well, maybe it would be better to say it will greatly accelerate our inevitable bankruptcy. I cant fathom how they are talking about tax CUTS. We should be increasing them if anything, in conjunction with drastically decreased government spending. They are counting on that.

No sweat, we'll just "tax the rich" to cover this. Oh, and the TRILLION dollar UHC.

Heh, after my first knee surgery, which I was gassed for, I was a vomit machine. Im constantly on the ragged edge of encumbrance too and like you constantly have to shuffle stuff. Im a repair maniac too, just last night repairing my 10mm with another 10mm when mine was only 4% worn, just to get back under encumbrance. Thank god for ED-E or I would be one slow moving courier.

Nothing at all. Bashing subsrciption models for micro-transactions is the new black. I find it interesting that only the middle players (Guild Wars, LoTR, Champions Online) are going to that model while the king of the hill (WoW) still charges $15.99/month while "failing" all the way to the bank.

My #3 hotkey does that all the time for no particular reason. Ill go to equip, press 3, nothing happens, look at Pip-Boy and that position is blank again. Only that key does it though.

Yeah, I had ED-E lock onto a rad scorpion that had fallen through the earth except for the tip of its tail. ED-E would see that and his combat music would start but the scorpion couldnt be targeted, so ED-E would just hover over it. Every time I interfaced with ED-E and told him to follow he would follow for one second then lock back on the scorpion. *reload and lose an hour*

From the weapon screen in your pip-boy, press and hold any number key except number two (number 2 is already slaved to switching ammo) and a sub-screen will pop up. From that screen you can click a weapon and it will be assigned to whichever hot key you were just holding down.
