Kickstarter Backer Badge 2
Pledge management is a four step process that will display "Your order is complete and will be shipped later this year. Stay tuned for a future backer update with more details." when you have completed the final step. If done correctly you will also see the amount you pledged and below that you should see "Total credit available: $0.00" If you do not see these results you may not have completed the pledge management process. If you feel you have finished the pledge management process then please send a PM to Fionavar and they will get you straightened out.

Update #82: Creatures
^You wont have to worry about their feelings, sounds like you will have to slaughter them all just to get to the dragon.

Divinity: Original Sin
Another question. In the first town I came across a grinding wheel, anvil and forge. Obviously they are there to craft stuff but I couldn't figure out how to use the grinding wheel to sharpen anything. I tried r-click my fighter sword to see if there was any option to sharpen but nada. Can anyone help a simpleton out?

BIS Boards Reunion Tour
I have the next four days off work but no solid plans. My neighbor invited us out on his boat and we may roll up to Blarney Island (a bar only accessible by boat) and get our drunk on.

Am I misunderstanding or do you have to go to a bar to get them to fill your bags with beer?

Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter
It seems pretty cool. One of the things you can do is combine spells for additional effects. For example, two of your starting spells are "Oil" and "Flare" (or something like that). So I first cast Oil to slow the enemy and then cast Flare to ignite the Oil, which burns everyone in the Oil radius. Ill post more as I advance.

Turn based? Nah, I don't mind TB. I just wasn't "getting it" in the first battle. It took me a few seconds to realize that each party member can perform multiple actions per turn until they run out of action points. Just n00b error is all. Also, is there any way to memorize the scrolls you find? I only saw; use, drop, destroy.

Dowloaded and started playing last night. Rolled a wizard and took a fighter as my companion. The graphics and vo seem adequate but I only got about 15 minutes in before I had to quit. I find the combat a little confusing.

Update #81: The Front Line: Fighters and Barbarians
Agreed. However, I was debating this statement from Karkarov: From what I understand of the mechanics so far, only one class can perform this function, the Fighter. The Barbarian can certainly dish out damage but can he tank?

Update #81: The Front Line: Fighters and Barbarians
That's what thought and to me that's an important distinction (also the reason I chose 2 Fighters in the "Whats your party" thread). Any class can "tank" one enemy but to me, that's not a tank. The Barbarian seems like it can do ferocious damage but that's not the class Im going to park in the doorway (bottleneck) because enemies will just stream past and savage my clothies.

Update #81: The Front Line: Fighters and Barbarians
Honest question because I cant remember, do Barbarians have an ability to prevent mooks from getting past them? Iirc, Fighters do have that ability.

Update #81: The Front Line: Fighters and Barbarians
Their stamina to health ratio combined with Stamina healing = Tanking I understand why you guys are going with, 2x hitpoints = can tank, I simply disagree. Afaik, the Barbarian cannot "hold a line" which to me is a critical function of a tank.
