  1. That's a tough one GD. On one hand, loot and stability. On the other, ND sounds like a tomb to me. You could probably rent your house which would be nice if/when you come back. If the future Mrs. GD is on board then I say go for it.
  2. New “solar thermal fuel” has energy density of lead batteries.
  3. That is exactly the intention. Sawyer has mentioned that the dungeon will out level the party (unless you save it for the end I suppose).
  4. I squoze out manly tears when they electrocuted that dude in The Green Mile.
  5. Don't leave me hanging! What happens next? Sexytime with the adventurer?
  6. I haven't read anything about respawning but there are occasions to take certain enemies prisoner and put them in the dungeon under your keep.
  7. Changed my wifes brakes yesterday. Sore today. Man, I need to lose like 20 years.
  8. Im okay with managing resources over multiple encounters (and Im bummed that theres no healer class but that's a whole nother topic). What I don't like is that all these mechanics (healing, unmaiming, inventory, spell/ability replenishment, etc...) are all tied to a mechanic that's designed to be a pain to use (theres not even fast travel). I object to that principle, not to resource management. Sarex's example is a perfect illustration. I will absolutely, positively, save and rest before every single boss fight. For me, having to slowly hoof it back to the rest spot, top off, and then walk back to the boss will quickly wear on me. That's why I want a modded portable campsite. For convenience.
  9. I disagree. 95% of attacks will damage your Health. Its a simple matter of death by a thousand cuts and in no way is a measure of success.
  10. 100% of enemies in the game start with this advantage. They will always have full Health/Stamina and all abilities and spells at their disposal. Only the player party has to deal with being "ground down" over the course of adventuring. For realism. well, your party has to kill the 3 orcs guarding the gate, then kill the 2 pet hellhounds, then kill another 5 orc guards, then the troll cook, then 2 golems and you finally get to meet the lich who is the boss of the dungeon. if nobody has gone past the 3 guards outside, what reason would those inside have to be out of hp, stamina, skills and spells? they fought nobody, while by the time you get to the boss, you have had to kill 13 enemies of varying difficulty Exactly! Link?
  11. What? The entire "rest spot" mechanic was specifically designed as a disincentive to use. Your party will almost always be in a a state of less than full capabilities. Its my understanding that that is already the case. Assuming most people play the "core" path, enemies will already scale to +/- 1 or 2 levels and will always have full capabilities. How much more designed can they possibly be?

  13. The holy grail of science has been realized; Lab-grown vaginas successfully implanted in girls in tissue-engineering first.
  14. Interesting. Does that mean that those that trained or pulled sentry duty do not receive the benefits of resting?
  15. I don't know if physical copies will be available (I think so) but if not you will be able to purchase a digital copy from Steam and/or GoG.
  16. Nothing is stuck in my rectum. We do not tolerate any form of bigotry on these forums. I searched, but failed, to find any relevant information linking a reptile eye with the star of david, so Im asking for help. If it is shown to be a bigoted remark then we will deal with it.
  17. Navy prepares to take railgun to sea.
  18. Any links yet? K, Ill check back later.
  19. Wait, isn't the running theory that Oby is a moderator? I cant keep all the conspiracies straight.
  20. Indeed. Alternatively you could, like, you know... moderate. Depicting Jews as lizards / serpents and less-than-humans is as old as anti-semitism itself. Oby knows what he's doing. So, no link?
  21. I Googled "lizard eye in star of david" and couldn't find anything. Link? Of course, also feel free to push the "Report" button that is located below offending posts instead of bemoaning your unfair treatment.
  22. 1. Nude mod 2. Romance mod 3. Healing potion mod 4. Rest anywhere 5. Inventory anywhere Ive got my fingers crossed that one of the people that ponied up for Beta access is also a modder. Maybe a rest anywhere fix can be made before the game is released to the public. I'm trying to work out if you are being serious or joking?? A rest anywhere mod would immediately devalue any sense of challenge or achievement. I'd have zero interest in this game if you could rest anywhere anytime. I wouldn't even bother to download it for free if that was the case. I presume you are being sarcastic and laughing at people who'd need a silly feature like that? If not...words fail me. Im serious as a heart attack. Hell, Ill toss somebody a crisp new fiver to make the mod and teach me how to map it to the "R" button. The rest mechanic sounds like a major imposition to me and just off the top of my head involves the following other mechanics: to replenish per rest abilities, to replenish per rest spells, to replenish Health, to get un-Maimed, to access the "deep stash" inventory, and who knows what else by the time the game is done. I don't mind resource management, I just don't want to have to trek across the damn map to do it. But with that in mind, a "pop tall after every battle fully healed and with all abilities" mod that doesn't require me to press the "R" button is an even better idea! Also, FAST TRAVEL please, oh god please. By the 50th time Ive schlepped back to a rest spot Im going to be ready to punch kittens.
