If I'm understanding your post correctly, I don't think mooks are afraid that the general US citizen is armed. They mostly plan on dying anyway. And I don't think we've got some secret method for intercepting plots. The "war on terror" has been going on for decades so it seem like someone would have bloodied our noses again by now. What could it be?

I'm not actually worried about getting shot up by bad guys. I'm wondering, literally, how many honest immigrants from those seven countries would be temporarily negatively affected by such a ban/vetting process? Aside, I do honestly wonder why we haven't suffered more organized attacks like those linked. Guns are a dime a dozen around here. After we finish soiling ourselves with outrage, I wonder what that ban would mean in real-world numbers. What's the annual immigration quota for those seven countries? And what % of the quota is normally filled annually?

Unfortunately not. I had a bad taste in my mouth after the Beta's but as time passed I softened that stance. I almost talked myself into playing but then decided to wait for a few patches...and it just never happened. Is combat significantly different now than Beta? I did. I played the first and second to last Beta's. And I think Sawyer nails on the head exactly what happened to me...I became overwhelmed by leveling up an entire party at once and didn't know what the hell I was doing. The more damning thing though was, I love combat in games, a good story is a cherry on top, but I loves combat. In PoE I was AWFUL at it. I couldn't understand what was going on at all. I was tapping the spacebar like a woodpecker. Are my commands being executed? Why is that dude just standing there? What, that beetle just tpw me? I mean, I soldiered through every part of the Beta that we could but didn't enjoy it. The problem is me.

This post gives this old knucklehead hope. I am exactly that person who couldn't "get it" wrt the mechanics.

CA can barely flush their toilets. We would have them by the balls on water rights alone. If its yellow, let it mellow indeed. Not that I want them to leave anyway. My time spent there while in the Navy was fantastic. Beautiful climates, beautful people, a little too head-up-own-bum but otherwise a very nice place.

You are probably correct. Not a single spell (wizard, druid, priest) or weapon has a range over 20m, so the player would have to savage the titans ankles until he falls over.

Do you know, how does the "investor" get their named animal? Meaning, John invests $500 and names a pig "Gfted1". Is that pig present only in John's game or every copy of PoE2 sold will contain pig Gfted1? Can anyone get Gfted1, and John is only paying for the naming rights? No exclusivity to John?
