Sleep scumming.
Gfted1 replied to kensu's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Well in that case, those meatshields need to stop resting so often to recharge that Clear Out ability.

The Expanse S2E8 was fantastic. This is easily my current favorite show. Dave Chappelle standup special on Netflix. I laughed my ass off, as did my wife, but I cannot lie, there are several jokes that will make a lot of you crap yourselves with moral outrage.

Gfted1 replied to kensu's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Hehe, I'm not familiar with that system. Its just weird to me that people go out of the way to hamstring casters under three layers, two of which are caster specific, that other classes don't have to deal with: "You have a finite amount of casts, and you shouldn't be able to replenish them whenever you want/need, and it shall cost you a resource (that for some reason is limited in carrying).

Politics 2017 part 4
To make sure I'm understanding what I'm looking at, regarding those graphs: 1) ACA has had little to no effect on the rate of deductible increase? 2) Why will ACA revisions increase the number of uninsured. Will ACA no longer be mandatory? 2A) Why does ACA level off at 10 million uninsured?

Politics 2017 part 4
I seriously doubt its a 1:1 ratio, dollars spent vs quality. It boggles my mind when its assumed "it works in a country with 30 million, it should work exactly the same in a country of 300 million." Sure, maybe if we raise our taxes through the roof like they did. Our healthcare cost are out of control but I don't think ACA was the answer to controlling those costs. Its probably only accelerated the race to the bottom by adding 10's of millions of people that will consume far more than they contribute.

Sleep scumming.
Gfted1 replied to kensu's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)"Sleeping" means different things for different classes. Where a Wizard will be completely out of spells (their primary function) after a few battles and must resort to the thrilling game of Returning Frost Dart, a melee class can utilize their primary ability (punching stuff) for an unlimited amount of times. I bet if melee weapons broke every 3-4 battles, suddenly "resting" wouldn't be a problem.

I wonder what the UK version of a federal judge is called.

British courts already were involved. Hmm, then I can only surmise that they don't have the broad latitude to single handedly block things. We could learn a lot from the UK in this regard.

Gfted1 replied to kensu's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Ive rested 2-3 times just clearing the basement of rats. Who cares? The internet. Regenerating Health and a portable portal and Im a happy camper. Also, iirc, a "no camping supply limit" mod is usually one of the first to be made too.

Can PoE grow as a franchise the way the Witcher did?
Gfted1 replied to Skyleaf's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)A financial success? Absolutely. Just look how Fig exceeded the original KS with significantly less backers. A mainstream gaming success? I think this part will be harder due to the relatively small number of players but that isn't even really required (see financial success above).

Article 50 will be triggered on March 29. If this was the US, you can bet your sweet bippy some activist federal judge would have blocked it by now.

What's on the idiot box?
Reading the reviews of the first six episodes really torpedoed my interest in Iron Fist. I think Ill wait for you guy to convince me its worth watching but if TN says its better than Luke Cage then I'm really going to be impressed.

I am very disappointed to hear the party will be reduced to five.
Gfted1 replied to Gregorovitch's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)The Resting and Pacifism results made me lol. "Resting is for baddies" and "I don't want to be FORCED to become a murderhobo" were two pillars of conversation around here during PoE 1 development and here we have 0.2 and 0.1 completion percentages respectively. Weird.

Gfted1 replied to Gregorovitch's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Eh, people quit games for lots of reasons. Less than half of Steam players even finished Act 1 and only 10% finished PoE.- What you did today
Iirc, youre living in a new state? Maybe the faux Spring has bloomed something you didn't know you were allergic to? My coworker is allergic to everything, just up to the very air he breathes. Poor bastage, hes always miserable through the Spring and Summer and so happy for the first freeze of Winter. - I am very disappointed to hear the party will be reduced to five.
