Hawking radiation.

Lol, I noticed that too! I even commented to my wife that the mooks sure were making it easy to identify them.

You are wrong! I mean, I disagree. You know, after reading Raithe's subsequent article, maybe it looked off to me due to its "realism"? I thought Reeves looked old and clumsy, was even going to say "hes no Statham".

Fireball spotted in Midwest sky, may have landed in Lake Michigan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cF0POBcZQRk -
Is that what we're calling that?

John Wick That was...not good. I love the fact that he murdered approximately 241 people over but the action sequences were kinda poor, imo.

I like per encounter precisely because it does allow the full use of my party abilities for every fight. Ive yet to play a game where the mooks are at less than full strength so the thought of going into each fight a little more beaten down and diminished in capability is why I rest and save often.

Amen brother. And hangovers...now they last days.

I see the "Hatriots", what are the Dallas Cowboys called in-game?
-
Ah, that's a big difference. All the days I listed above are paid days off (sick, vacation and holidays).
-
I'm sure it varies from company to company, but yeah, I can "call in sick" (using one of my 5 sick days) and nobody blinks an eye or expects me to prove it. On the flip side, if I took over one month off due to various illness I would probably be shown the door. I work in an office and I don't really worry about infecting others. They are always already sick before Ill even sniffle.
-
In my case, I get 5 "sick days" to use whenever I like with no advanced warning, an addition 10 days to use whenever I like with sufficient warning, and 13-15 days off over the course of the year for normal holidays (4th of July, Christmas, etc.). So your example would be a wash for me. I have never used a "sick day" due to illness. I don't get sick often but when I do Id rather be at work than waste a day off lying around in bed sick.

Yup, and that's why I like Vancian. I'm not saying it doesn't have issues (low levels suck), but now we will mostl likely just rinse and repeat every combat. Also, spells tend to get more homogeneous when you move to the more "modern" systems. Which is something that disappoints me. PS. Thing is about low levels is that in 30 mins or so in the first game... you were level four, iirc. I'm not following the differences. Vancian = memorize number of spells per level that can be cast. Grimoire = Contains amount of spells per level that can be cast. Why does the Grimoire method force the "spamming of the same spells"? Each method allows the user to choose which spells to memorize.

Bummer. I guess they have to squeeze that camping supply mechanic in somehow. Do you have a link to injury system?

This sounds awesome! Now all we need is (moderately) regenerating Health and Stamina and resting is a thing of the past. w00t

Could you imagine the total accumulated knowledge humans would have by now if this was the case! We would be catching rays at Alpha Centauri right now.

My HS was typical suburbia of the time and from what I remember my teachers were engaged with the class and good at their craft. I never went to college. I didnt have the grades or the means. So I joined the military and they trained me up as an aviation electrician (although I had to take remedial math to get in the class, which I'm sure surprises nobody. ), which later got me a career.

Teaching oneself to read has to be wicked hard. Hats off to you.
