Didnt this whole "surrender monkey" thing spring from Frances strong opposition against invading Iraq? I dont recall hearing anything of the sort before "Bush vs. Chirac". Personally, I think Chirac had some serious balls to tell Bush to sod off (even though it sort of was to appeasee the cool lefty guys)

Im contemplating buying it, but I cant stand that P.O.S engine from hell, so Im a bit reluctant...

Im playing Gears of War for the PC. Yes, it's definently much better than the 360 version, and it runs smooooth as buttah'

My Gf7900GTX has glitches in almost every game. The latest on being Call of Duty 4, where textures turn black at random. ..compared to a few years ago where Nvidia was solid performance, and ATI sucked

Am I in too much of a rush to detect the irony here? Where is teh fun?

I wish that wasnt true, but it is. Nvidia's drivers took a plunge about the time when Vista was released. My Geforce8 runs better than my 7, but its not like it used to be

Yup. The bacth of processors comming out now is "pennryn" and the next one dubbed "nehalm", will supposedly feature some major changes so it wont be possible to use the LGA775 socket anymore. I beg to differ. Penryn is the blanket term for 45nm CPU's. They branch off as the Wolfsdale (2 core CPU) and the Yorkfield (2 Wolfdales = 4 core CPU). Penryn will also use the LGA775 socket. My own motherboard the Asus Commando LGA775 Socket, Intel 965P Chipset supports the 45nm processors(with a BIOS update.) Not all motherboards of course will support this update because of hardware or capitalism issues. For instance the Quad core (Yorkfield) Penryns look like they will have a 1600FSB, that can be a big problem hardware wise, also the voltage for the CPU's will be different, so cross your fingers and check your mobo manufacturer. The Wolfsdale will have a 1333FSB. Well, the Nehalem does not use a front sid bus at all, so I doubt it will work with LGA775 motherboards.

My neighbour downloaded it and he said it was so bad that he uninstalled it after only an hour of playing it.

I hope the next OS from microsoft will be sleek and fast, instad of bloated and slow And Ive pulled an Oblivion again. Ive been playing Hellgate:London for sveral hours now and its kind of fun. Lots of neat equipment, but there are too many enemies and there is no sense of story whatsoever. Single-player MMO style.
-
There WAS something wrong with the config, the game doesnt look that bad. Although the characters still doesnt have faces, but "face baloons" with textures on them
-
I just tried Hellgate London and I was astounded. With all the hype I assumed I would be facing atleast an AAA-class average shooter, but this game is nowhere near that ballpark. It looks so old and ugly that I thought there was something wrong with the config and that i was running it on low settings, but I have everything maxed out. And everything else, from interface to tutorial also smells old and poorly made. Im amazed.

Half-life 2: Episode 2. Its easily the best of the entire Hl franchise, but still rubs me in all the wrong places. -Guns so powerless that it takes an entire clip to kill on enemy makes me feel a bit like Im cleaning the floor with a toothbrush -I know Valve are mighty proud of their precious Gravity Gun, but that is no excuse to force me to use it so often that it might aswell be glued to poor gordons hands. Would it be too much to let me actually SHOOT stuff once in a while? -I dont care how long they spent scripting their AI behaviour, antlions are still boring opponents. -Stalkers are like robotic antlions, excpt with a severe case of rubber allergy. Tossing a tyre at one of these droids will do more damage than an entire clip from the spaced-out misfit of a gun they put in instead of a proper assault rifle.

Well, my money goes to Gears of War (PC), Call of Duty 4 and Crysis this month.

More like sponge rag, it amazes me that people enjoy eating it.

I wish you didnt have a time limit on edits, but anyways, the paper I read has a VERY positive review of the witcher. So it could be good

This just smells like another Gothic to me, in my exprience, eastern european RPG's are made bad on purpouse. Divinte divinity, Kult etc.
-
Octopi doesnt have feelings, so its ok to eat them. And that is why we must use the Japanse to feed the fish in the world in order to grow back the fish population in our seas.

You speak that like it's fact. It's loose speculation based upon two things: 1) Bioware has an MMO studio. 2) They want to play a new MMO. Neither of which is decisive evidence. Neither of which makes the rumor significantly above baseless. Yeah, for BioWare to set up an MMO studio, they would have had the deal finished ages ago, which could be seen as vidence that this latest collaboration wont be an MMO. Developing and maintaining an MMO's usually means the studio will be busy doing just that for as long as the MMO is active, so BioWare wouldnt be doing two of them at the same time. I remember hearing a rumour months ago that Lucasarts were getting back to making Adventure games again, and this might be a part of that thing. ..but then again, its all speculation

Oh, poop. I thought thy meant "cheetah" as in the chimp from Tarzan, running with a cat is no fun.

That's because you dont do any heavy crunching tasks. wuss.

Im still fantasizing about a Dual Xeon quad setup... 8 cores.... *drools* up to 300% in mental ray
-
And go for a quad-core, you need the power, you want the power.

Im seriously contemplating getting a 360, but its no fun when games cost a gazillion kronor(swede money). I saw Bioshock on sale for 699kr ($108) the other day, and that was not the C.E box. The PC version is only half that
