  1. That is an impressive feast, Wals. How many guets did you have? One cup of espresso, had a cookie earlier.
  2. Are you supposed to "collect" every little girl you come across, or can you ignore some of them and still get enough ADAM?
  3. Obviously, that is the foundation of Japan.
  4. Bioshock looks really pretty with Dx9 aswell... and it runs smooth as buttah even with maximum settings. to demonstrate fire effects, specularity, normal mapping, global illumination and water reflections this is a random shot without GI but lots of bloom
  5. I wacked a big daddy but the little girl disapeared into a hole and now she's gone. Do they come out or do i have to go find another couple?
  6. I like it when splicers go down with just one bullet, makes it feel more like a film. It's also so much more satisfying :D ...do enemies require more damage to be done to them with the difficulty on hard?
  7. That's it. This aggression will not stand, I will be placing a phonecall to the pope first thing in the morning. See if we cant get some of those Opus Dei boys to assassinate these heathens before this spreads any further.
  8. Alien and Aliens traumatized me deeply as a child, since then the Alien franchise have gone straight to hell. Predator 2 is an awesome 80's action flick, I like it lots... it not in the same ballpark as Alien, and I dislike the crossovers that have been done.
  9. I dont know about you people, but I hold the vote of majority to be a sacred funding principle of democracy. And if you claim that this basic tenent of decency and civilization cannot be applied to this 'Manga' phenomenon, then you hate freedom. So good luck preaching to us about the benefits of japanophilistic culture invasion from Gitmo, buddy.
  10. Me too ...although I find Natalie Portman more annoying actually. Atleast Jar-jar wasnt the worst actress ever in the history of mankind
  11. "Im a Cyborg, but that's OK" by Chan Wook Park (Korea) Convinced that she is not entirely human but in fact part android, Young-goon (Lim Su-jeong)'s health begins to deteriorate as she gives up eating food and instead decides to "charge her batteries" by administering electric shocks to herself via a small transistor radio. As her mental state continues to deteriorate, the troubled young woman takes to donning her grandmother's dentures and carrying on extended conversations with various machines around the mental health facility. Of course Young-goon isn't the only person suffering from a mental malady in this hospital, and it's not long before Il-soon (Rain), a young man with a penchant for wearing masks and a reputation for being anti-social, is admitted as well. A good-looking young man who sets about convincing his fellow patients that he has the power to absorb their personality traits, Il-soon gradually begins to develop a tender romance with the troubled Young-goon. Later, when hospital officials determine that the only way to save Young-goon is to administer electro-shock therapy, the treatment has the unusual side-effect of convincing the would-be android that she has been fully recharged and possesses the ability to fire bullets from her fingers. In reality, Young-goon's physical deterioration has become truly alarming. With little time to lose before the love of his life slides beyond the point of no return, Il-soon enlists the aid of his concerned fellow patients in getting Young-goon back on the path to good health. Kaftpoints: 5/5
  12. It works like a charm now, and it's prettier and runs faster than on the 360
  13. Fable was ugly, repetitive, had a crap story, completely pointless key features and it wasnt very fun to play after you had tried all the haircuts. The list of grievances is too long to post, but my main negative is that the missions/quests were extremely repetitive. You either had to kill every monster or escort a random npc from one end of the level to the other, that was it. no variation. boring.
  14. Turns out it cant handle having the "use advanced post processing effects" on. If you turn that off, it's no problem except you lose all the pretty bloom But what drivers are you using and which card? Do you run Vista?
  15. The Steam version seems quite buggy, it's not good friends with Nvidias drivers thats for sure. Strange thing is that the demo worked without a hitch
  16. Xard is a poopie-head Because it isn't really the physical punch that is hurting Superman, but the supernatural power in the punch from the zombie is. Wonder WOman can take out Superman because her powers and weaponry are magic in nature. Her sword can easily cut through Superman's flesh easier than a normal sword can cut a human. Have Wonderwoman ever been in a catfight with Big Barda? That would be so awesome
  17. Im on 32% now But it cost me friggin 68 bucks! Damn our Swedish taxes!
  18. Sod it. Im so bored out of my mind that I think Im going to buy Bioshock through STEAM right this minute. What do you think about that plan? I must have something to play right now or I'll explode
  19. But if the vast majority of Manga is complete crap, then that means that statiosticly speaking, the whole genre is crap. Thus, I win "
  20. Phh, if you want weird and artsy comics, Europe is the place. We have a very strong artcomic movement here in Sweden and Ive never seen anything remotely as bizarre from asian comics. And Ive never understood what so good about Sandman, I read the first 6 issues and I did not detect any greatness. Fables is alot more interesting in the fairytale/dream genre. But why would a punch to the face hurt more if it was punched by a zombie? I mean, the mechanical force of the impact has to be identical to that of a non-magic person and Superman can withstand the kinetic energy of a 7.62mm bullet hitting his cornea without blinking.
  21. The American comicbook market is alive and positively chock full of awesome non-superhero books that kicks artistic ass our of anything Asian. The problem is that people are too stupid to look for it. I have realiable intelligence info that this "Drego Bowl" comic is the greatest work of 'art' ever to come out of Japan. Supposedly, it's about constipated japanese children and ping-pong. I think it is an insult to humanity to compare it to Archie, a genial serialisation who has helped shaped generations of sound, non-sexually deviant, white people all over the world.
  22. First fo all, Id like to applogize for my earlier outburst of raw emotional power induced by the thought of the-people-im-not-supposed-to-talk-about. It's a shame that I allowed my dislike for the culture of the-country-im-not supposed-to-talk-about get in the way of the sacred bond of brotherly love that exists between all Finns and Swedes. Trolling people in a thread you started, eh Kaft? Dude, don
  23. Im not really allowed to talk about Japan or the Japanese on this forum anymore(I have two warnings, both from alleged racism towards said ethnic group), but I have to say that Manga and Anime is just overhyped excrement that doesnt deserve half an ounce of the attention it's getting from morons like you.
  24. The only thing about DC I really like is 'Big Barda' because, as a child, I read that issue where Sleeze hypnotizes Superman and Barda into starring in pornfilms 80's style and she also uses a phallic weapon called a Mega Rod. Since then, my ideal image of a woman is a 7' amazon with blue eyes and a horned helmet... an ideal my girlfriends have found hard to live up to. Overall, I think the mainstream comics business is in a bit of a rut right now. Marvel blew all their Steam on "Civil War"(which was sheer awesomeness), so now they've left it to the interns to spew out That Hulk-thing which is among the least interesting crap Ive ever read.
