Pictures of your Games: Revolutions

But it uses the D3/Q4 engine, donnit? Looks way too good to be Hl2 " Im currently playing Dreamfall, and just to show you exactly what it looks like on my screen, here is a fullsize uncompresssed shot http://www.xn--holmstrm-t4a.net/pics/Dreamfall.png You can see how theyve done the steam effect on the well, its a polygonal cylinder with a transparent animated texture, thats why you can see the edges of it so clearly -
Well said, Taks. Personally I watch Fox News all the time and I think its highly unfair the way theyre being criticized for being biased. So what if they say "Republicans good, Democrats bad" ? I mean, being objective and unbiased is about seeing things from a sort of overhead central perspective, and who is right in the middle of the center looking out? You are. So Fox are simply just reporting from THEIR objective and unbiased perspective. Its perfectly logical. No. Im sorry Hades, but you're just going to have to face up with reality. Miss Hannigan has got to go. The National Bandcamp Association are not the kind of people you want to provoke, and now she has to pay the price.

That is such an unfair comparison. The gingerbread house in Hans&Gretl had an evil witch inside it, ok? An evil witch. And even though its possible that China is behind the ever increasing obesity of Americans in order to fatten them up before a massive cannibalistic sneak attack to feed their billions of citzens, those of us with little meat on our bones would have nothing to worry about. I still stand firm in my statement that I require no men in green to keep me safe at night. In fact, I would be quite uncomfortable with them in my bedroom. They could overhear me talking in my sleep and then tell all my friends. Why only go as far as to forbid cars? You know what I say? Forbidding is not enough. Forbidding does not sent a strong enough message to those axes of evil we meet every in Ford, General motors or Toyota. What we need is a war against automobiles! Itll show that flashy, gas-guzzling, trafficly unsafe Hummers when we hit em over the head with cruise missiles. And coronary disease? Please, thats just a constructed myth perpetrated by those liberal health freaks to hurt perfectly innocent corporations like McDonalds and Pizza Hut. And besides, if D i c k Cheney can have two heart attacks a month and still have the strength to shoot a man in the face.. people are just whiny, thats all Im saying. note: edited for Gravitas

Why d20 fails to do what special does: ME: I shoot him in the groin for that extra pain! :D GM: No, you cant do that. ME: What do you mean I cant?! GM: This is d20, here you just make a sort of abstract attack that hits him somewhere undefined and he takes damage. ME: Ok fine. I "attack" <_< GM: Hes wearing too much armour so you miss* ME: Dont I accidentally hit his friend or some civilian standing behind him? ) GM: No, this is d20, if you miss, your bullet just magicly vaporizes into thin air GM: Anyway, his friend 2km away shoots you. you take 12damage ME: WFT?!! Theres no way he can hit me from that distance!! Hed get like -999% to hit! GM: d20 has no difficulty increment due to distance ME: *Critically hits GM in the groin for 469 hit points. Maybe the scars will make good party talk.* " * having AC is a fault of both systems, its just more apparent in D20

Its in the papers but not on their offical website. There will be some sort of an album comming this autumn with a follow-up tour where they will... this is awesome... recreate the onstage performance of the entire "The lamb lies down on broadway" show!! ) Itll be weird but awesome to see Gabriel dressed as a sunflower again :D -

Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM) - E' festa PFM can be quite gay at times but they make you so happy And they were so incredibly awesome. Listening to (in my head) : Genesis - The Battle Of Epping Forest <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But theyve officially announced that they will be doing atleast one reunion gig this summer with the original lineup including Peter Gabriel ) ..sure, some of the "old men reunites" things arent all that hot but some are magic.[/b] -
No, we dont have anything like FOX News in Sweden

And if youre going to take it even further and ardess this issue with the war on terror. Youve leveled two countries thus far just to be able to protect yourselves from terrorism but in the US, more people die in car accidents every year than has ever been killed by terrorists. So, if theres anyone slaving away every day keeping you safe an protected.. its not the delta force, its not the FBI, its not the SEALs.. its the traffic police. Seriously, Ford has killed more people than Bin Laden ever did

One thing that all these "you owe your freedom to the men in uniform, out there right now, protecting the country" arguments is that I cant understand how its relevant. My grandpa's generation fought in WW2, they held back the Russkies in the Finnish winter war. But that was 60 years ago and grandpa is dead. There are no men in green doing diddley squat to protect my freedom now. Weve got some soldiers in the UN helping people in africa and afghanistan, and for that they deserve no small credit. But are they protecting my freedom? Are they doing anything for me or my country? No. If theres anyone protecting my freedom now its the journalists who pull the alarm everytime the politicians tries to pull another scam on us. They are the ones protecting my freedom and rights. People who vote do more than the military, people who arent afraid to say no when somethings not right.

Genesis - Entangled Its from "A trick of the tail" 1976 which is the first album after Peter Gabriel quit. After this it all started going downhill until they collapsed in a mess of Phil Collins in 1980 -
THis isnt me, but its me trying my hand at nature photography as we saw this squirrel sneak into the birdfeed-house during lunch. As you can see, we're so Swedish even our birdhouse is red with white corners

Yeah, the settings say that both are enabled but as you can see.. no HDR. In fact, nothing happens if you deactivate AA either. And if you check wikiedia for games using SM3 and SM2 HDR, R6:Lockdown is not one of them. STrange.
-
Noones ever sold consoles at a loss. Microsoft purpousfully planted the "info" that they took a loss on 360 sales in order to "deliver the goods to the public" as a PR stunt. Sony are doing the exact same thing with their "The PS3 is worth 800$ but we're going to be nice and let you have it for just 500$" jerks.
-
Were they both actually working? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I doubt it.. or R6 has the least noticeable HDR lighting ever (the white haze in the corners happens when you activate "post-processing effects" )

Click me, good sir.

Must... share... the... pain...

The "worst" bug I had was getting up on the horse but the model rig didnt react for some reason so I ended up standing in the middle of the horse. -
About HDR, I managed to run HDR+AA simultaneously in Rainbow6:Lockdown. Thats not supposed to be possible, is it? If you were cool, you'd wear it, take a picture of you and it and then post the picture in the Way Off Topic pictures 2006 thread. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would, except its made for american body fatness and so it would hurt my skinny manhood if I clohed myself in it.

I had a CPU cooler give up, causing the processor to play "china syndrome" with my motherboard. Id rather get a warning so that wont happen again, especially since I had to jury-rig my northbridge cooler in order to fit the 7900GTX Meta> Im not going to download a dozen different apps and try out, have you got any specific program you can recommend?
