  2. I used to be pro cooldown during Pillars 1 campaign but I liked how they implemented the per rest/per encounter mechanic after all. I usually like cooldowns if the UI is good (Tyranny's wasn't) but I don't mind if they use the same systen as Pillars 1. Comparing Tyranny's combat to Pillars' I'd say Pillars is much much more interesting and fun and the per rest/encounter system contributes to that but only because Tyranny had so meh combat. Cooldowns can be interesting as well if the game's designed well around them.

  4. Well this IS after all the localization thread that you started so not really need to apologize It's just that most people looking forward for interesting new mechanics as stretch goals rather than languages but I guess we can't all want the same
  5. They'll be like Black Island again. Publishers of good rpg and devolpers of good rpgs. Only this time around they'll be more independent (thankfully(?)).
  6. Wait, what? Didn't CD Projekt start as a publisher and then become developer? So the other way round basically? On that note, I can't remember does Larian self-publish too? Nope CD Projekt red is a developer before a publisher,their first game was published by Atari if i am not mistaken.Larian are self published.I hope that Obsidian goes that way,Paradox have some ****ty DLC practices and are very lazy. CD Red started as a Polish publisher (publishing games in Poland). Then they started GoG, they got money from there and developed the Witcher.

I just wanted to say that I prefer Italy for the climate, and the Deadfire archipelago for the company. That's more like it! Aw right! Onwards to adventure in the savage seas of Deadfire shouting italian battlecries (which I don't speak a word btw )!

  10. There's so many people want Italian localization that I wouldn't be surprised if Obsidian changed the location from Deadfire to Italy for the sequel

  14. An interesting companion has an interesting background that defines him/her as a acharacter and that character, then, reacts to the actions of the pc. This is a game; I want more reaction/interaction by/with companions, not just storytellers of a fictional past. Durance's past story was interesting but he as companion was boring as fakk.
  15. Unless extreme streatch goals are reached, I believe they'll deliver up to Q2 2018 since they're already a year in the work.

  18. I totally agree with you I believe this is the case everywhere. Blockbusters sell more than smaller/indie products. In all entertainment types.

  22. There's no such an option 'cause the thread's purpose it show the developers that "the people" demand a 6-character party because yeah!
  23. Their updates are hard to find. Sometimes they are in "updates" under the 2st stretch goals, this time is in main page under features... weird stuff.
