  1. I hope that Revan doesn't die in TSL. However, whenever I pictured him/her dying, it was in an epic duel against a Dark Lord on a battleship, and sacrificing himself/herself for his companions. He kills the Dark Lord in the end but has to deal with the legions of Sith, and the ship blows up in the end. I pictured him/her saying, "You will learn why I am the true lord of the Sith." (DS/LS)
  2. I'm not too keen on the idea of Knights Of The New Republic games because for me, the old triology kind of wraps up the story. I prefer the next Kotor games to continue generally in the same timeline. Such as 10 or 20 years after TSL. The idea of playing non-Jedi characters are intriguing. Perhaps these games could be stand alone stories.
  3. In the XBN review which Stargate: 2000 posted here, it mentioned that Kreia was hiding in the morgue pretending to be dead. How was it that she was able to 'mask' her Force presence from Darth Sion, who according to the article, showed up later? Do you think this could be a new Force power for TSL? Or am I trying to squeeze water from a stone in looking for something to speculate about?
  4. It would be logical since Kreia is mentioned in the previews, LA should give some info about her. Or at least, Atton Rand. Even a tidbit of information would keep me happy for awhile.
  5. For me it was the great story, excellent voice acting and characters, and epic music. The cutscene graphics were good, better than most out there but the cutscene graphics I've seen for the Prince Of Persia 2 trailer are better. But I'm not worried, I'm sure TSL would top that
  6. Well said, Nur. I agree totally. But then again, I like Bastila's character more than Anakin's. I think the whole 'Chosen One' prophecy is overblown to make his character more special.
  7. I got the feeling when I read the article that HK might try to assassinate you. I also think T might be sacrified or holds some important data for you, which after giving it, he will be sacrificed. From the sounds of it, the beginning of TSL will be quite heart thumping. I think Darth Sion was the one that ordered your tank to be poisoned/gased. Thanks Stargate: 2000 for posting the article.
  8. For me, I would like more ways to solve a situation then blowing it up or hacking the problem till it's dead (even though I enjoy this tremendously). So more puzzle elements and more non-violent solutions. I also think if there were more consequences for your actions, then you would be playing the game a bit more thoughtfully. For instance, in Kotor 1, you were responsible for the wookie homeworld either being enslaved or freed. So, if you helped enslaved the homeworld, then LS characters would not help you or aid you. If you helped free the homeworld then DS characters would not approach you like the Exchange representatives who sold you premium weapons.
  9. Oh yeah...my mistake. Sorry. Hmm.. a Jedi hiding in a morgue, isn't that a bit undignified? That's so wicked!
  10. After watching Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within, I thought that maybe Lucasarts could make an expansion of the Kotor universe through a cgi miniseries or movies. That way, our favourite characters could come back with the original voices. The story could take place as a betweener of Kotor 1 and TSL or after, and either deal with the established characters or introduce a new set of characters.
  11. We already know that Atton Rand's the first NPC we meet in TSL. How we meet him is another question altogether. Which got me wondering how we would meet the other (known) NPCs in the game. I was speculating that if Canderous was in the game, we might meet in a cantina where he gives a spiel of how he has reformed his evil Mandalorian ways. Then depending on how you answered the questions earlier in the game, he would tell you what a honour it was serving under a ruthless Dark Lord as Revan (DS) or how Revan the Jedi showed him a more fulfilling path other than being a thug for hire (LS). I also was thinking that Mira might have been hired to track you down or that you have to save her or she saves you from a Sith patrol. For Atton, I suspect he was hiding from the trouble with the droid rebellion in the Ebon Hawk. As for the old Jedi, Krea (sp?) I have no idea.
  12. Nice cover art. Hope TSL is just as good.
  13. I always prefer a balanced character. So, I used scout/sentinel. In TSl, I believe I will use sentinel/watchman as LS or sentinel/assassin as DS.
  14. In Kotor1, after you finish the apprentice training, Zhar welcomes you into the lowest rank of the Jedi as a padawan. I was wondering what other ranks are there before you attain Master? And is the ranking strata same as the Sith?
  15. Good point. Was thinking about the hundreds of ways, and figured that maybe Malak said something that planted a seed of doubt in Bastila's mind about the goodness of the jedi council. And then a turning point in the game could be when she decided to turn on you and the others in another confrontation with Malak. So guess you're right Nur...there are hundreds of ways the game could explore how she turned to the darkside.
  16. Okay, now I'm curious. If the leviathan 'linear bug' didn't take place, how would the story fit Bastila's descent into the darkside?
  17. The original triology was the best. Kotor comes second because it had the same atmosphere or feeling of familiarity that reminded me of the magic of the original triology. The prequels made me feel like it was a re-envisioning of the Star Wars universe and I was looking at a distorted version. I don't know if EP 3 could save my negative impression of the prequels. I think more movies would be a good idea if it didn't dealt with the characters from either triology and were more stand alone from the current EU story arcs.
  18. It's probably too late but Obsidian could consider these suggestions as ideas of what gamers are looking for to implement in future games.
  19. I know this falls under the category of too late to do anything since the game is nearly finished but thought I'll post it anyway. I was thinking that great voice acting in Kotor1 played a major aspect in making the game more mesmerising and brought the characters to life. So who would you like to hear in TSL? My list of voice actors would be: 1. Jennifer Hale (please even a quote would do!) 2. Mark Hamill He's an accomplished voice actor and I think he could play an insidious character very well. 3. Kath Soucie She has a wide range from sweet, naive to sinister and coldly calculating. 4. David Bowie Somehow after Labyrinth, whenever I think of chaotic evil tormented characters, his character voice comes to mind. I think he would make an excellent Sith commander. That's all I think of for the moment. Your ideas?
  20. I vote Bastila because she's more level headed when in a battle.
