  1. If it is Jennifer Hale then she did a fine job. But I'm going more along the lines of Angela Langsbury (sp?) .. she played a mean witch in the Last Unicorn cartoon. Tel Aviv: I couldn't play the file for some reason, so I couldn't reply. Sorry.
  2. Yeah, but just like Taris, that was probably Malak's idea as well. During the Leviathan interrogation (in reference to the Telos bombing), Saul explained to Carth something along the lines that 'the Sith would not accept me until I turn my back on the Republic' - hence Telos merely being an example Saul's loyalty carrying out his orders. Also, during the post-revelation on the Ebon Hawk (when Carth blamed Revan for the destruction of Telos), Canderous said (paraphrased): 'We all know Malak gave the order to destroy your world, Carth. You can't blame Revan for that' Your thoughts? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Revan was a better military leader, who knew that bombarding worlds - thus destroying valuable infrastructure, conquered labour force, and resources - would hinder the war effort. He who rather come in his legions and forcefully take over the world while preserving the world's resources. It just shows that Malak ruled by brute force, and Revan would've ruled by cunning, someone who wanted to rule a living galaxy rather than a destroyed one.
  3. Thanks Akari, for taking the time to answer our questions, and everyone else who worked on the game.
  4. I was thinking about what happens after waking up in the vat/tank. I think I mentioned some of this in another thread but since this the current thread for speculating about Kotor 2 storyline, I'll post it again here: After waking up in the tank, you discover Kreia in the morgue, who probably gives you a cryptic message about the dead being better at keeping secrets, and she has a secret but you won't find it out unless your dead or come back from the dead (pure speculation on my part!). Anyway, you discover that someone called Sion has ordered your vat to be poisoned. You discover Atton Rand, who asks you if you know about the Ebon Hawk and then talks about Ebon Hawk's previous owner, Revan. You then answer questions about Revan. You start to make your way to Ebon Hawk and find a TM droid, which seems broken. You fix it and it starts to play a message. But the message is suddenly interrupted by a HK droid doing mischief i.e. trying to kill you. You fight him and then Lord Sion shows up. You make your escape with Kreia and Atton Rand. However, during your escape, you are critically wounded and Kreia has to use the Force to sustain you, thus forming a Force bond with you. She says she knows how to connect you back to the Force, and you better form a connection quick otherwise the Sith will kill you. And so your adventure begins.... I also speculate that your character is a hero of the Mandalorian Wars but was exiled by the Jedi Council for your participation in it. I think Malak or Revan broke your connection to the Force.
  5. Saul was the one who bombarded Telos, so Saul likes bombing worlds. I remember one of the Jedi or civilians on Dantooine mentioned that they heard of the Sith torturing Jedi until they turn to the dark side. So, maybe one of the broken Jedis told Saul? I wonder who are the opportunists who come to Dantooine... Mandalorians? Perhaps they made Dantoine their home base.
  6. I'll probably stick to light sabres... I can't imagine trying to take a huge monster - like the one shown in the one of the screen caps - with your bare hands! I mean, you would need a berserker rage and strength to pummel that thing.
  7. In terms of TSL being darker, I think the story will be able to explore more of the conflict in characters and the Star Wars universe at large. If the music is anything to go by, then TSL is given the full epic treatment. I'm definately looking forward to it... in February.
  8. The music sounds pretty epic. I can't wait to play the game in Feb. The site is awesome, I like the darkside/lightside options ... which some questions weren't so thuggish.
  9. She sounds like a famous voice actress, but can't place her right now. Perhaps the one who played the old Tandi in Fallout 2?
  10. I wonder if some of the questions asked reflect situations in the game or are they just teaser questions.
  11. Like I mentioned before in another thread, I think Revan left a message in T3 that you will have to unlock as you progress through the game.
  12. Canderous tells you that Revan defeated Mandalore in single combat. I think he said Revan killed him, but I'm not sure.
  13. I think the dark element would be that you have to kill Kreia. Though her sacrificing herself for you is intriguing.
  14. I still think he is Canderous, who became the Mandalore after the Star Forge.
  15. Kreia probably has a burning hatred for the Sith, and Sion in particular. She will probably use your character as a tool for eliminating the Sith. I don't think it would be wise to trust her too much in the game.
  16. The music for the Dark Side is awesome! Very sinister. The Dark Side voice is also cool!
  17. Akari said that he was amused at how accurate some of our speculations were. He also mentioned that it was usually the ones that received the least replies. So trawling back 20 pages: Why did Revan go to korriban? Was Revan the true Sith Lord? Korriban Fly By Those were the few that I think could have some accurate speculations in them.
  18. Just thought of this, if Jedi (dark and light) live on in the Force after death then the developer's could put in those Kotor 1 Jedi characters that could have died in TSL. They just make them into spirits who talk to your character in a vision or come to you during a crucial part of the game. I was thinking that if this is the case then maybe one of the Jedi masters who died on Tatooine, Zhar, Vrook or whoever, could appear to you. Just one of my far-fetched ideas. Just thought I'll toss it in.
  19. I think if the Sith Lord accepted you if you turned like that, he wouldn't be a very smart Sith because you only turned to save the lives of people. If on the other hand, you turned willingly and killed millions of people, that would be more right e.g. like Saul Karath destroying Telos to prove to Lord Malak he was loyal.
  20. Hmm... why white hair? White hair could symbolize a traumatic occurence in childhood, purity, pure spirit, innocence, strong will.... So if there is three characters with white hair, it must symbolize different aspects of their character. Maybe Kreia, Atris and the other are all related in blood/master/apprentice wise.
  21. Yeah, all my character has to do is find the evil doomsday device and destroy it
  22. That can't be the sole reason. I don't believe the existence of one lone Jedi would make a difference in the grand scheme of things, especially when the Sith have control of the universe. There must be a reason why they fear you enough to make them seek you out.
