  1. Oh he was definately interested in you after Calo told him you were alive... "Lord Malak was most displeased you escaped Taris alive. He has promised a great reward..." - I think that proves it. Maybe your character has some interesting back story that makes the Sith Lords hunt you down i.e. you were a hero of the Mandalorian Wars, you were an apprentice to one of the Jedi Council Masters. And they want you bad for this some unknown reason.
  2. no one did, really. I just think it would be really ironic that someone who looks fierce, handles a mean quarter staff would be a pacifist. For all I know, he could be glowing red.
  3. I think any Jedi character would prove more useful in combat situations. For now, I'll say Atris since she seems the fighter type.
  4. I would be disappointed if there was not some form of dueling arena in TSL, assassin/money making side quests or side quests that are inherently LS or DS, places where you can buy blackmarket/premium items, or large interesting areas like Taris.
  5. I think Bastila meant that what little there remained of Revan's mind i.e. his/her memories of the Star Forge was all that could be saved. The tattered fragments of personality was removed by the Jedi Council. I also thought that as DS, Revan and Bastila discover some hidden power in Korriban and leave to find it. While gone, their generals betrayed them to the Sith Lords, who finally emerged out of shadows from manipulating Revan and Malak - like Jedi Master D Murda's theory. I also believe that one of the Sith Lords was Revan's Sith Master while he/she was still a Jedi. This is because Zhar mentioned that Revan was interested in learning Sith magic while still at the Academy, so I believe Revan was learning secretly from one of the Sith Lords. However, the Sith Lords did not count on Revan becoming so powerful to take the mantle of Dark Lord from them. When Revan turned his/her attention from conquering the Republic, the Sith Lords took their chance to usurp his/her rule. I think Revan met your exiled character while in the Outer Rim and convinced him/her to return. That's how your character ends up on the Ebon Hawk.
  6. A pacifist Zabrak, now that would be a lark. Unfortunately, I think he would fill the role of mechanic/repairman. Maybe he would be useful like the blacksmiths in BG, who can make you special items if you bring the right components.
  7. Finally :D! Hopefully they have some behind the scene clips on it as well.
  8. I think it's Canderous who's become the new Mandalore.
  9. If there's going to be an official TSL website, could there be online contests for registered members to win some exclusive prizes such as a TSL poster or T-shirt or a free game? Actually, I'm not sure if this post should be posted here.
  10. welcome... most of us are excited about the game, definitely all of us here are interested in finding out how it turns out.
  11. I don't believe after you were exiled to the Outer Rim, your character would become a hermit and hide like Jolee did. I think your character probably took up another profession, and learnt some new skills to compensate for the lose of his/her Force powers. I think this should also come into play during the character creation, so you have a starting class i.e. like Scout/Soldier/Scoundrel and then you can augment it with beginning Jedi level skills. What profession do you think your characters did? Or what they did while out on the Outer Rim?
  12. If that planet's Sleyheron, was it scrapped because the option of Yuthura joining your party was discarded from the final story?
  13. I like the idea of being able to be an apprentice and actually learn something from a NPC, even if it's Kreia. Maybe if she does become your master in the game, one of the first things you have to do is build a lightsabre for her. I'm not too sure I like the idea of being a mentor - the thought of sharing power is something I wouldn't want to give easily.
  14. From the screen caps and previews, it seems that there are alot of Sith jedi out there. But I was wondering, and please forgive me for my ignorance, is lightsabre usage really only restricted to Force users? Or in the star wars EU universe i.e. movies or books, do they mention people non-Force users wielding lightsabres?
  15. bastila, canderous and hk-47. To me, they were the soul of the game. Bastila, most of all.
  16. I think TSl will be as good as the originally, hopefully better. I must be one of the few who actually liked all the minigames - yes even that monotonous turret game. I enjoyed playing Pazaak because it gave me a gambler's high similar to one in real life, too bad I couldn't bet Zaalbar or Juhani. I also enjoyed the swoop racing because of the prestige of becoming Taris, Tatooine, and Manaan champion, and once you got the hang of the track, you could beat the best times with a few tries. I hope in TSL to get to know my NPCs better with more subquests. I also would like to experience the cities and areas better by having standalone quests that we could do for money or experience. And I want cutscenes with a more movie feel to them - with nuances in the scenes that you have to watch carefully for.
  17. I hated Jolee... he had plugged that seniority crap too much. I was glad to prove that he could do nothing to stop my descent into the dark side. He was a just a powerless, weak padawan who should have stayed hidden.
  18. Since I don't spend much points on Str, Dex and Con, I used implants to augment my characters' fighting deficiencies. So I'll probably go again with implants if there are no feats to cover these. Though I kind of like the idea of having implants - kind of feels like being in Ghost in the Shell.
  19. I used HK on the Leviathan but I must've forgotten. Thanks for answering everyone!
  20. 'Hunter Killer' seems like a strange phrase, though appropriate in a way. It seems awkward to me as hunter is a killer who hunts for skill/food and killer is a someone who kills without remorse.
  21. In my opinion since Revan had a twisted sense of humour as a Dark Lord, the HK could stand for 'humanoid killer'. I also think that maybe if Revan was DS after Kotor1, he/she built other models of HK up to no. 50. I just don't think that he/she built them during the search for the Star Forge, though it would make sense to have an unit of elite assassin droids to wipe out key political/influential figures in various sectors; weakening a resistance from within. I also thought that maybe HK 50 and other HK models, except HK47, was not built by Revan but by his/her rivals, who copied HK47's blueprints or captured him after the Star Forge.
  22. i think he was one of those characters that Bioware was going to do something about but never had the time to. Also, he never got to threaten you if you were LS and you gave Weedle money because Weedle's best time was the one you had to beat.
  23. That screencap makes his blind eye look like a boiled egg.... Anyway, I think he would be a malicious, hard-to-kill badass but won't have the cold cunning to be overall Sith Lord. He has the look of a hands-on general though.
  24. Since Mission struck me as more a follower than a leader, she probably went into hiding or joined an underground resistance against the Sith led by another character. IF she survived Kotor1, that is.
  25. why is everyone presuming the Sith Lord femme fatale is ugly? Maybe Chris meant Snow White Witch evil....not in appearance terms. The sort of evil that would kill their own (step) children - a remorseless cruel evil, which in my opinion would be play better as a villain than Malak-and-my-maniacal-fake-laugh. Back on topic, Revan DS or Bastila DS as usual
