Movies you've seen recently
I'm not picking up what they're putting down either, but the word is Tom got the part in large part based on his chemistry with RDJ.

The Weird, Random, and Interesting things that Fit Nowhere Else Thread..
I was in the number-two lane when it passed, that old feeling. I'd post a picture, but it wouldn't do it justice. The new Corvette, even the vanilla, is the best-looking modern American design of anything. From any angle, it is stupidly perfectly executed. The rear-three-quarter view in particular, is how it must feel to be seen with Amber Heard.

Charleston church massacre
I don't understand why a local school is debating changing the name of Robert E. Lee Elementary. Have I unwittingly aided and abetted racism by watching the Dukes of Hazzard every Saturday night in the early 80's ... Bo and Luke's General Lee has a confederate flag on the roof of the car. Am I evil and a bigot now.

What are you playing now?
The summer sale sold me spectacularly on Season Two, The Walking Dead, reminding me I haven't begun to finish Season One until this weekend. It's fun and scary, in a mystery meat kinda way.

What's on the idiot box Part 4 (or something)
Never saw a sporting event with more nerve, raw drama, singular heartbreak, debilitating illness, expressive anger, unquenchable spirit, and bonkers lead changes as the 115th U.S. Open Golf Championship. The guy slammed his putter at the hole and denounced the organizing USGA as incompetent. The other guy fought vertigo to finish day-three tied for the lead. Someone else bogeyed four of six holes in the last round only to face a one-putt eagle for the win, and failed. The next guy became the youngest winner since 1923, the youngest player to win two majors since 1922, and the sixth player in history to win the Masters and the U.S. Open in the same year.

What you did today
Haha the mayor's voice. It was 99 degrees outside there a month ago, the flight attendants were like, 'please close the window shades on the aircraft people, it is too freaking hot outside'.

What you did today
Not PHX is it, I remember a Frenchish food place there, but we ate at the chineseish food place next to it.

What's on the idiot box Part 4 (or something)
I adore this course, a brand new American golf course hosting the U.S. Open this weekend. A seemingly British-style links course with tall, brown grass, mottled gray/green/brown fairways indistinguishable from the hole greens, and graphite-colored sand traps look like matte mercury puddles. It's called Chambers Bay, by Puget Sound near Tacoma, Washington. Also first time I've seen Fox Sports cover a golf tournament. Somehow it isn't obnoxious or ingratiating, just fun to watch. Plus another eight-and-a-half hours of live coverage tomorrow. Quote of the day: "Just like rollin' around on a piece of melba toast"

ManifestedISO replied to spunkyshell's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Yeah, something I learned late was that some maps on the world map don't become available unless you explore the edges and actually click on the travel icon. I don't know if this is the problem you're having, but it was one that I had for a while.

What you having for dinner tonight?
Spicy BLT Whopper combination, seriously start-to-finish delicious. Even the pickles, and onions, who am I. BK and Wendy's have really achieved good food. I don't know if it's good for me, exactly, but it feels incredible in my mouth.

Could I pay to have my view counter fixed. Although I really don't enjoy being stared at in real life, so it's probably just as well.

Happy Juneteenth
Happy day! Truly. Today is also San Diego Area Code 619 Remembrance Day Which Is Not A Real Thing Particularly Compared To Emancipation. My phone number is 858, even though I live in 760 ... I choose to celebrate 619 because despite my appearance and what my parents have told me, I identify as San Diegan.

What you did today
Today's view from the 27th floor downtown, due west across the harbor. Left is the USS Midway museum; center foreground is where cruise ships park; the three gigantic vessels further out are moored at the Navy base on Coronado, North Island NAS, and way in the back is the Point Loma Peninsula veiled in marine layer.

E3 2015 AND YOU!
I'm wiped, spent, glazed over like a fixed junkie. Tens of hours of video. I'm seriously considering a 1TB Xbox One, is how drunk I am on backwards compatibility. Forward compatibility is kinda irritating, though, how do I permanently remove this 'Get Windows 10' desktop taskbar icon ...
