  1. Happy birthday, Cap! by Phil Noto
  2. well, http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2513884-bubba-watson-says-hell-remove-confederate-flag-from-his-general-lee-car?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial a guy named bubba is painting over the flag. HA! Good Fun! Me and Bo had the same thought. If only Roscoe were here, he would know what to do. I'm surprised Bubba Watson would paint over it, but it seems this whole thing has gone beyond the event horizon. As a public figure, if he were to leave it, it would send the wrong message.
  3. Oh they're there. Right out'n the open, in front of god and your grandma. Went once with friends and found it difficult to enjoy the hair-metal soundtrack, 3% beer, and dodgy patrons. Utah actually had one of the largest underground glowstick contingents in the country for a while ... every Saturday a new rave in the desert, the city, someone's condo. A tale of two opposing cultures, is Salt Lake City.
  4. Missed Extant because I couldn't stop watching First Peoples. What a crazy-good program. It has completely changed the way I look at my own species.
  5. That's unacceptable, you will buy both games on Day 1 or people will be forced to call you out as a " fake gamer " ...imagine the shame I will, certainly. Fallout on PS4 and Tomb Raider on Xbox--which is inappropriate and the wrong platform, said me, from 1996 on PS1. Twisted Metal was hella fun back then, though.
  6. Off-strip, similar to off-Broadway, I guess, I don't know, never been to NYC or a live musical. My 7th-grade teacher made us watch Oklahoma and the one about WWII in the Pacific--what was it called ... Today I was dive-bombed passed by a new Lamborghini--Aventador maybe--at full song in second gear during rush hour. I felt it first, then heard the tumult, only glimpsing the royal-blue streak. It was a glorious experience for exhaust-note enthusiasts like myself, but was seriously unsafe maneuvering. He went left around me, then right three lanes to exit the freeway at near-full acceleration.
  7. It's going to be close. Ninety minutes left. Got my Doritos and Newcastle Brown, c'mon 250K! Okay, that's it, congratulations, well done! Can't wait to play.
  8. Side-watching James Patterson's 'Zoo' story. Seems there is a straw-colored lens filter much like the green one in The Matrix, only gold. Can't tell if the show is ridiculous or just silly. Fortunately, earlier, they showed the one episode of The Flash I missed.
  9. Lord are they raised stiff in Blighty.
  10. Haven't been for a while, but I enjoy the off-strip casinos as much as the wretched-excess monuments. The ones with gold lightbulb marquees and buffets for retired people. Next time I go, I'd like to catch a Supercross race, or bomb Natties with rednecks at the Speedway. No I wouldn't. Yes I would. The dirtbikes anyway. Monster Energy girls carry signs on the track that say "30 Seconds to Go" which somehow seems familiar and shameful at the same time.
  11. Batman and Elektra are calling it quits. Does anyone stay together.
  12. MS knows exclusives, but it took fifteen years to understand Halo isn't the only thing people clamor for. The moneybags in Redmond and a developer studio in Japan, as well as a studio in Texas have collaborated for this upcoming exclusive, which prompted me to finally get a new Xbox One. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BB5DY7FTKN0
  13. The campaign has been fun, it's doing really well in the final days. Those guys and girls worked hard and made it happen. I bumped my pledge last night because $40 is a good price for all those autographs. Obviously Update #100 will be the release date for The White March, yes? Thanks in advance.
  14. Starfleet shoulder sleeve insignia, by Justin Lin

  15. Ninja Warrior, Michelle Warnky, great run. Awesome core strength. The other guy, too, the 56-year old competitor, all the way to the warped wall ... "your AARP card has been revoked!" Can't wait for next week, see some uniforms punish the course.
  16. Technically Episode VII-related since Jakku is in the game, EA just released 17 free Star Wars: Battlefront smartphone wallpapers for total nerds and the people who love them. http://imgur.com/a/bgojC?sf39033486=1#0
  17. Yay, view counter came back on, twenty-nine days in the wilderness. Today is also the twenty-fifth time around the sun since the summer after high school when I got a job working as the linen ranger at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and discovered the human imperative. She was a year older.
  18. The TV just told me that the average cumulus cloud weighs 1.1 million pounds.
  19. A shooter, shooting stuff. Aliens and armored vehicles. I don't know who I am either. Somehow in all the time since 2001 I never put on Master Chief's armor, but now I see what all the fuss was about. Simple mechanics, samey-same levels, but satisfying variety of play, single-player story, driveable weaponized vehicles, and pretty hilarious AI banter between UNSC squad Marines. Also a female computer voice in my helmet (whose essence reportedly is headed to Windows phones). Music is good, and this remastered Anniversary edition from 2011 looks great. Not sure what the framerate is, but it feels super quick and crisp. The full title is Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.
  20. Weirdly feels good to give it a rest. Had to. My rippled washboard abs are turning into a muffin top.
  21. Meanwhile, the chronically ringless had this to say about marriage in general. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ja47-Ctd04c Really, though, happy to see everyone get the chance, if they choose.
  22. I vote Calabasas.
  23. You mean for style, or cafe racing. There are some incredible designs for motorcycle use, not subject to seasonal sales. My former Spidi addiction required me to check their outlet store twice daily every so often, and it seemed like super deals were not limited to time of year. I finally got clean, though, I'm down to just one textile and no leather. It's a hard life, being sober. My top three planes ... 1. F/A-18, SR-71, tie 3. F-4 4. F-15 inland, F-14 over the water Honorable mention: A-6 Intruder, V-22 Osprey, tie, because VTOL.
