Fallout and Tomb Raider are carved in stone on my stone tablet of games I need right now. In an hour, I expect to chisel Star Wars Battlefront and Mirror's Edge. Even if they tease Mass Effect, I'll be teased and maybe intrigued, but not in need.

So weird, I feel exactly opposite ... Avengers holds up while Guardians fall off a bit with repeated viewing. Nothing in either movie beats the "take my hand" callback in Guardians, with Peter's mom. I'm still crying.

13,000 lines of dialogue, they said, so it better be better than that. I'm kinda intrigued to hear my real name voice-acted, might be interesting. Should be in there, with 999 other VA'd names. Either way, I have to bring my phone charger to work tomorrow so I don't miss Microsoft, EA, and Ubi before I get home to Sony at 6pm.

It's weird, the things that stick in your mind. I haven't been parent to a Rottweiler for eight years, and yet even now, every month or two, when I use the last paper towel on the roll and the cardboard tube gets exposed with that peculiar, hollow sound, I expect Bruce to jump up, come over, and play keep-away while I try to bop his nose without him biting it.
