  2. Still an issue as of 1.6; bumping for visibility. Additional repro steps: Load the saved game. Take a normal weapon with no enchantments, right-click, go to "Enchant" and apply a lash effect to it. Go back to the game and observe the blade now has a graphical effect applied to it. Go to your inventory and observe that the effect is missing. It is worth nothing that unique weapons that already come with a lash effect (e.g. the great sword Temperacl, which comes with a corrosive lash) do display the relevant effect both in-game and in your inventory.
  3. Some of the items were of underwhelming quality, but I personally don't mind. When I pledged, I pledged toward the game's development, not toward receiving physical goods. Those are just extra gravy. What really matters to me is that an isometric party-based RPG with lots of quality writing was released in 2015 and I got to play it.
  4. I've just done some testing on shields, then searched the forums and found nothing, so I thought I'd share my results. I've created two identical Fighters and equipped them with identical gear. The first thing I wanted to test was whether shields applied a penalty to the wielder's recovery time. The doubt stemmed from a tip during loading screens that says they do, even though no shield mentions that in its description. The test revealed that no penalty to recovery time results from using a shield. I had both Fighters attack the same target, one with just a sword and the other with sword and shield, and they were perfectly synchronized. The second test was to check whether the Bash property, which effectively makes you attack with your shield as though it were a weapon in your off-hand, was affected by the two-weapon fighting talent. To test this, I equipped both Fighters with the same Bash shield and levelled them up, choosing Two Weapon Fighting only for one of them. The results showed that Two Weapon Fighting does NOT apply to Bash. Once again, both Fighters were perfectly synchronized. Hope this helps.
  5. Bubbles—If you don't have a saved game for this, I can easily provide one. However, I need more details on the bug(s). Feel free to PM me.
  6. Anelor—simply turn off the auras before saving the game, and back on when you load it. It will prevent them from growing in size. Bit of manual work, but it's a functional workaround until a patch fixes the issue.
  7. Well, it could definitely show your attack speed and recovery time, and DPS could be shown against 0 DR for informational purposes.
  8. Definitely a bug since 1.04 patch notes said it was fixed (but apparently not)
  9. If I can help you with that in any way, let me know. I'm more than happy to lend a hand.
  10. I'm playing windowed. Not particularly happy about this, but for the time being that's as good as it gets.
  11. Yes please If Eric has no time to fix typos himself and we can help him get the fixes in, I'll happily volunteer.
  12. Were the auras active when you loaded your game? Loading a game with active auras increases their size; it is a known issue (I generally deactivate auras before saving to avoid it.)
  13. Speaking of which, Eric's been deafeningly silent of late. Do you know whether any typos have been fixed in 1.06?
  14. So we can expect 1.07 to be a big update in the vein of 1.05?
  15. As far as I'm concerned, it is worth the $250 I dropped on it during the Kickstarter. Would back again.
  16. Amazing work and time-saver! Also I don't need to cheat to get the Gauntlets of Accuracy or the Boots of Speed XD
  17. In order to change difficulty to PotD on a game you've started on a different setting, you need the IE mod.
  18. To the best of my knowledge you can only have one Quality enchantment on a weapon at a time. If a weapon is Damaging, it can't be also fine. Weapons that are inherently Accurate are an exception, and their accuracy bonus stacks.
  19. Brandon, please extend my appreciation and thanks to the whole crew. Pillars of Eternity is great and so is your continued support. I am confident many reported bugs will eventually get fixed with subsequent patches and I, for one, am more than happy to contribute by reporting bugs. On a mildly related note, please make sure Eric keeps an eye on the thread where we report typos as we've been fairly active over there since 1.05 ;-)
  20. Missing space after the ellipsis. Screenshot Reads, "over his him" but should be "over him". Screenshot Missing space before the second hyphen in the aside. Screenshot Missing verb in GM's third-dream conversation (reads "she burning", should be "she's burning"). Screenshot

The Auburn Knight (a.k.a. The Golden Knight mk. II) Armor: Coat of Ill Payment | Shield: Scath Gwannek | Cloak: Shimmering Cloak | Weapon: Godansthunyr (works well with Gilt Blade of Lorn too, for those who prefer two-handers.) The Red Knight Armor: Sanguine Plate | Shield: Redfield | Cloak: Hiro's Mantle | Weapon: Sheathed in Autumn The Dark Red Knight (a.k.a. The Red Knight mk. 2) Armor: Fine Brigandine | Shield: Redfield | Cloak: Lilith's Shawl | Weapon: The Flames of Fair Rihan
  23. ^ I agree, but I just really like the aesthetics of the Blade of the Endless Paths XD (I also like the idea of a "faster" estoc.)
  24. Because they don't do it intelligently and with a purpose. They just do it all the time regardless of circumstances. If they swapped weapons intelligently based on what is best to turn on you, it would be a killer A.I. feature.
