  1. The deve specifically asked for feedback on Act III scaling when the beta patch was released. Commentary is fair. Not sure how his request concerning appropriate level for TWM pt II areas comes into it.
  2. I didn't exactly keep track of that, but the day TWM pt I came out, I recall getting home from work and being able to download it from GOG right away. Must've been in the neighborhood of 6 P.M. GMT+1.
  3. Their office is in PST time zone. Conversion table: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/pacific-time/convert
  4. ^ IIRC in the current beta build you need to enable that quest via console if you want to go through it. Should be unlocked in the official release that drops tomorrow though.
  5. The one for Argwes Adra gives +3 RES and the one for He Carries Many Scars gives +2 Athletics and Preservation. The others weren't shown but the one for Sanguine Plate is cheap so it won't do wonders, much to my dismay.
  6. You may want to use the Gauntlets of Swift Action instead and try to get your recovery down to 0. If you pack +65 Accuracy excluding the bonus for single weapon, Superb enchantment, and Weapon Focus (that's another +30) and 50% hit-to-crit conversion, you'll hardly need another +5; attacking faster is better as you'll get more crits in.
  7. I'm doing a lot of it with my Lady of Pain build. If you want to take it to the extreme, after maximizing the bonus damage from scoring a crit: - Hearth Orlan with 21 starting Perception; +1 Hylea's Boon; +1 Song of the Heavens; +1 Effigy's Resentment: Sagani; +3 Lilith's Shawl; +3 resting bonus from Caed Nua; +10 Champion's Boon = 40 Perception. - Durgan weapon + Dire Blessing + Hearth Orlan = 50% hit-to-crit conversion - Devotions for the Faithful + Scroll of Valor = +35 Accuracy
  8. ^ I'm fairly sure they meant 11 A.M., not P.M.. Nobody's in the office to "push the button" at 11 P.M..
  9. You can enable scaling via console at any time. Search the forum for the codes; they were posted by BMac.
  10. I'm of the opposite opinion. 7th-level Priest spells are rather meh. The full-on Resurrection is good, but I rarely (if ever) need it; Minor Avatar is okaysh but casing Champion's Boon + Crowns For The Faithful is generally better. The other spell is really rather weak and never worth casting. 7th-level Wizard spells are pretty good. Delayed Blast Fireball deals an insane amount of AoE damage; Ninagauth's Killing Bolt deals an insane amount of single-target damage; Llengrath's Warding Staff is the best weapon-summoning Wizard spell and one I use often; Concelhaut's Crushing Doom is good damage + interrupt. Haven't really used the others too much, but they seem pretty all right too.
  11. I'm sure DR and other defenses are also raised. If you have an endgame save on a difficulty lower than PotD we can compare monster stats from the cyclopedia.
  12. ^ either patiently waiting for Azzuro to show up and offer it twice (you need to make in-game time pass to make Azzuro show up); buying one from Azzuro and duplicating it via the unique stronghold item that duplicates an item you already possess; or using the console and calling it day.
  13. What level are you? A well-built DPS character can brute-force the dragon at level 14. Do you have the Scale Breaker ability?
  14. Might as well work, but only the protagonist has a pet slot so you can really only have one on at all times.
  15. The problem with that axe is that, IIRC, it can't go beyond Fine and Barbarians really need the Accuracy.
  16. I would expect them to. Same with Spiritshifted Druids' natural weapons.
  17. They showed a new merchant in Stalwart in the Twitch stream too. Yep, it's the high-level ability they got in TWM pt. I ("Dragon Leap"). Very cool.
  18. Indeed, that's an example of power that looks good on paper but doesn't really work in-game. The undead need micromanaging to attack your enemies or they'll just stand there idly, which just adds to the overall clutter (and as they cause no DPS while standing there, your enemies won't target them so they're not even good as fodder.) Besides, when you find The Grey Sleeper you're already facing enemies who are high level enough to not be threatened by the undead it summons in the slightest. So ultimately it's a rather useless, cumbersome power. I'd rather give it up in favor of a higher change of triggering Twin Stones.
  19. Interesting that when someone asked, "What's beyond Legendary?" Josh said, "There's nothing beyond Legendary that you can enchant." There may be items with a higher quality enchantment in PX2 even though you can't upgrade any other item to that level. That would make them rather unique indeed. @lima if you hadn't heard about those helmets before, you can see them here.
