  1. ^ yes, according to her LinkedIn profile (at least last I checked.)
  2. Paul Kirsch and Megan Starks were writers in Tyranny as well but I think that's where the overlapping ends.
  3. Both will make you attack faster. If you're asking for a comparison, it depends whether you have other attack speed boni active. If yes, you're prolly better off durganizing your weapons. Also, on armors Durgan steel only reduces existing penalties. If you have no penalty, it won't make you faster.
  4. That would make of "inhabited" an awkward lexical choice, and of present perfect and odd choice of verbal tense. The sentence as it is worded does indeed sound like Eothas has been in the statue for millennia; other meanings could have been conveyed a lot less awkwardly and less vaguely, imo.
  5. Btw, I think it was confirmed that Kaz is back as lead concept artist for PoE2, though I don't have a source handy. Infinitron?
  6. Lindsey Laney, if I'm not mistaken. EDIT: just confirmed with her on Twitter. https://twitter.com/_psdo/status/825424559432036352
  7. Now I'm really curious what the cap will be in Deadfire. My inner powergamer demands satisfaction!
  8. Matt MacLean and Robert Land still have their hands free (much as I'd love for MacLean to be involved in PoE2)
  9. Source? https://twitter.com/carrie_patel/status/824695617964347392
  10. In terms of party size, I'm not sure the comparison to BG2 is entirely fair--and I've got mixed feelings about the change myself. POE is an IE-inspired game and, as such, is expected to allow 6-character parties. However, POE also admittedly featured many more active abilities for most classes than AD&D, and running a full party of 6 could be quite micro-intensive; more so than BG, imo. Granted, party A.I. could alleviate it to an extent, but it will never be a proper replacement for player input and will never sport the same degree of tactical complexity. Also, I guess most people who play this game aren't big on the game's playing itself So yeah, I liked the 6 figure but I understand why they would wanna reduce it. We'll see how it plays out in-game.
  11. I asked Aarik via DM on Twitter and he said they're looking into it. If they enable Paypal, I'll ask that my payment method be changed to that so I can use my Paypal balance and I'll even top my pledge with another 20 bucks for the soundtrack CD addon, as though the 240 bucks I've already dropped on it weren't enough XD
  12. This was one of my main gripes with PoE. I have a 1440p monitor and the upscaling was terrible I hope PoE 2 will support higher resolutions natively or, failing that, at least employ a better upscaling algo for the UI (though text should really always render at native resolution for clarity.) Catmull-Rom Bicubic would be a good example
  13. Yes. I can wait a few more months for a game that will provide me with countless hours of quality entertainment. By all means, take the time you need to make it great!
  14. Dropped more money on this than my wife would ever be happy with (and more to come Obsidian's way as soon as Paypal's a thing). Stuff shown so far is extremely promising!
  15. Also if there's an adra vessel that could possibly contain a god on Eora, that would be that statue. You know how it goes, "phenomenal cosmic powers; itty bitty living space."
  16. Only the most active member of the PoE community on these boards, and author of most of the builds available for the game around here; his avatar has been a blue orlan since anyone can remember
  17. So, someone didn't get the memo on the counter and spilled the beans early: https://gameup24.wordpress.com/2017/01/26/obsidian-announces-pillars-of-eternity-2/ Looks like our guess for Deadfire was right all along. Also, Boeroer companion confirmed.
  18. ^ I'm still bitter about that comma splice, by the way; really need a semicolon there
