After fig campaign
CottonWolf replied to ericdy's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Personally I'd like one big meaty update once a month. Means that they don't have to worry about it most of the time. -
In the current system empower gives 3 points of power. When you level up you get +3 points to your levelled class and +1 point for your other class. I think it actually gives 3 power levels worth of power? Which is equivalent to 6 levels? I imagine Josh'll do an update on it at some point to clarify.

I thought they said they were going to take a few weeks to transfer them over and they put out a Fig update when they were done? -
I was thinking: MC - Deadfire Pale Elf Bleak Walker, with a couple of levels barbarian for frenzy and carnage (took Outlanders Frenzy as a talent in 1) - DPS/Support Eder - Fighter/Ranger(bear) 50/50 - Tank + Off-tank Xoti - probably pure priest - Support Seraphen - pure cipher - CC Then Aloth or the mysterious aumaua in the fifth position as pure DPS

My ideal stretchgoal at this point would be for them to dramatically increase the reactivity to backgrounds/class/previous choices. No "new" content, just for them to go back through the stuff they've already made and add as many reactions and gated player dialogue options as the writers think make sense in the situations. Even if they don't have dramatic consequences and just represent another path to the same final dialogue node, it feels good when the game acknowledges who your character is and what they've done.

My worry about this is that, if it's disposition based, you could easily end up with a situation where every possible companion disapproves of, say, cruel actions, but you have to take them because you're playing a paladin or priest that has that as a favoured disposition. So you end up with everyone hating you. Hopefully it'll be better implemented than that though.
