  1. I'm putting a laser sight on my broadsword. Seriously though, he raises a good point, i'd like to see a more interactive open world.
  2. I can make funny noises with my armpit, i'm in.
  3. Agree, oh how I agree.
  4. Personally, i'm hoping for a consistent conponent to multiplayer. Combined with a more 'WiC' style of multiplayer, which plays less like an RTS and more like an isometric Day of Defeat and you'd have me very interested.
  5. In lue of that, lesbian sex scene please!
  6. Nexus Hijack.
  7. More zippers. EDIT: wait, this isn't the FFXIII thread.
  8. I was thinking the same thing, but neither of those are space RTSs, the former being a 4X, the latter being a sim. The only thing that comes close really is Genesis Rising (ignoring the older Heagemonia and ORB), but that didn\\\'t get great reviews. EDIT: Try Nexus, there's a demo out there, but it really shoves you in at the deep end. It IS controling spaceships, but it\\\'s NOT a space RTS, as each ship is an army in itself and irreplacible within the mission. While ships will fight on their own, each subsysytem can be tinkered with so you can, for example, drop power to engines, renforce sheilds, have one weapon array fire at a cirtain hostile while another fires at another and launch fighters to intercept hostile torpedos. Pretty too. Like DoW2! See, this post is on topic!
  9. The problem I had was that they turned it from a space RTS into an RTS in space and while it was a good game in its own right (I did get a lot of play out of it) it was a very different beast from HW1 (one of my alltime favorate games). This isn't me complaining about 'the good old days wah wah fallout in name only' but more that when it comes to ships, be they space, sea or air a slower and more methodical approch to strategy is perfered. Having half my frigates melt in a quarter of a second and having to constantly recall squads was not tyte compared to the extended capital-ship slugfests and custom 'on the fly' fighter formation tactics that I had enjoyed in HW1, even if HW1 wasn't balanced or streamlined that well. Good game, but I wouldn't fanboy over HW3. ....like I am over DoW2, this game can't come soon enough
  10. Chaos arn't a given, but i'd like to see them too.
  11. Aces of the Galaxy is the best original XBLA game to date. <3
  12. I'll probably trade it in after I unlock everything though.
  13. Given what they did with HW2, you won't see me caring. Those morons. But yeah, DoW2 should be great.
  14. Heavy Weapon.
  15. World in Conflict was bearly an RTS. Awsome game, but it has more in common with somthing like Day of Defeat than CnC.
  16. Yeah, no virus there.
  17. Interesting.
  18. So it is realistic for the setting? I'm confused
  19. I never said that it is realistic. ME is hardly realistic in any sense of the word, Nicky-boy. I said it makes sense for the setting in how they justified it. Read what is there and not what you want to be there. So you're arguing that infinite ammo in ME isn't realistic for the setting? Dude, you should have said so.
  20. Didn't MGS have a console port? Those silly Japanese.
  21. Wait, what's a zombies hitdice?
  22. 2nd page. Read thread THEN pretend you know what you're talking about. Becides which, you're arguing that infinite ammo in ME is realistic for the setting and that it wouldn't be for AP, so you're pretty much just generating 100% mouth-poop again by saying that this has nothing to do with realism.
  23. Oh, yeah, that's a good point. hehehe.
