  1. Well, given that some people are also being pretty bitter and twisted about the game it's no suprise that Mr.VD has taken the defencive.
  2. That's cool, but purely asthetically the dodges are still too slow compared to the attacks and two pre-emtive (the guy dodges a spear attack to the back before the hostile even starts to lunge, for example). It's not an issue, I only mention it because other people have niggled the animation when it isn't the animation itself so much as the timing.
  3. Actually, the animations themselves are smooth enough, the issue with them is really the timing and speed such that the attack/dodge looks 'staged' in an amateur dramatics fashion, which instantly distracts the viewer from the fact that the animations themselves aren
  4. haha, man, someone's bitter. This thread IS good fun. Thanks for the links Pavlos!
  5. Hostile Waters = godly.
  6. I hear that there are lots of 10 year old games for the PC that are really worth replaying. For the 100th time. That should last you till somthing new worthwhile comes out anyway.
  7. I sold my DS and got a PSP because it has games.
  8. Go back to europe.
  9. Dude, he's being serious, take a chill pill.
  10. This is just like the holocaust!! EA are Nazis! Bioware can be Austria. What? we already had AIDs comparisons.
  11. I just can't belive that Hades wants to buy the same game on two different platforms.
  12. I liked the Wing Commander film
  13. <3<3 Imperial Guard theme.
  14. What the flaming crap?

  15. Fallout had music?! Zur is awsome. EDIT: and so is this music, you guys are just bitter because you have ideas of what Fallout 3 SHOULD be and not what it's going to be.
  16. The comebacks to that are both obvious and inevitable. But yes, hardcore PC gamer enthusiasts are, in general, angry at the world.
  17. Indeed, education programs need a funds injection, real bad. haha, burn.
  18. Actually, i'm suprised it took this long for someone to impliment anti-piracy measures like this.
  19. Maybe because most loose cannon cops probably don't play GTA. Oh, you meant ingame.
  20. Given the current state of the PC market vs the amount of money MS and Sony are willing to spend so gain market dominence, not to mention porting costs and engine/technology licensing fees, chances are LA could make more money NOT releasing it for PC.
  21. Your face is impossible. Impossibly ugly, ZING!
  22. For memory, Operation Flashpoint managed to stay 'crack-proof' for a long time, not because it was uncrackable, but because the game, when cracked, would play normally for a little bit then slowly start to break. Your aim would go dodgy, vehcle controls would become erratic, stuff like that.
  23. I know you're joking, but the real issue with drilling oil on the moon is that, without a space elevator or other unconventional technology, getting it back to earth would cost more energy than the oil would be worth. Assuming there's oil on the moon.
  24. Yeah, the same thing is happening to the music industry, and comes down to a bunch of execs up the top who are still living in the days before the internet and are basically out of touch with the rest of the world. Which is expected in an industry that was once on top of the world in terms of obscene income and spending practices, but it's far less excusible from the PC market which, by deffinition, should be staying right on top of the ball.
