I was actually interested back in september when the demo was meant to come out, now it just looks to become the RPG Daikatana.

Actually I was speaking bollocks, I never even bothered get out of Neverwinter :D But, what I am saying is, like Conan (which was great, but didn't live up to the originals), and Dune (same), and Epesode 1 (there is actually some good sourse material in there) and most of the james bond movies, it is the presintation which is key. That you can get a way with a lot as long as you have good presintation. Just because NWN OC had a 'meh' story which was covered by poor presintation making it 'zzzZZZzzz' doesn't mean it couldn't make a good movie with some proper direction.

grrr, me conan, me hit things, avenge mother! vs an actually relitively interesting plot about city politics and betrayal with the twisting of nature by delusion. 'seminal' doesn't mean it makes a good film like 'badly presented' doesn't mean it cant be improved in a more sutible medium.

If Conan the Barbarian can be the basis for a fairly sucessful film franchise then I think that NWN might be able to do it with a few little pushes in the right direction. I mean, Mario got a movie, and the plot in that was pure drivel. Didn't stop me watching it twice. And don't even get me started on Final Fantasy. WHY SQUARE WHY?!

I used to love it, but then I played with a group of psyco army reject nuts who kept talking about 'charlie' and 'dust off'. A full day of that and I havn't been able to sleep properly since.

Esspesally considering that to most gamers a "famale" is a strange entity only rumoured to actually exist. Like the Lock Ness Monster. Great, now I am both scared and strangely arroused.

Well, it's an educational version which my uni uses, so with any luck I can start crafting phallic objects while giggling innanely as soon as possible.

haha, I just started using maya today, then I got lazy and ate a chicken. I will deffinatly work on it tomorrow though. I am being marked after all, but it makes me happy to hear that this is one half of the 'industry standard'.
