If your job is eliminated that doesn't mean the market ****s out replacements to keep up. Even assuming retraining is a viable option you're going to face more competition for a smaller number of jobs than pre-technoloigcal unemployment, and it is magnified for those who don't have retraining on the table as a viable option. Such a labor surplus created by these factors is going to mean lower real wages and underemployment for workers, and this holds true even when they take the sage advice of "get a job".

That's the standard for any 3rd tier Per inspiration, I assume it will exist from other sources. And unless they changed it, it's a +5 intellect boost and +1 PL, which for debuffs and dots could be a big benefit if PL actually applied to everything.

I agree with multi-classes seeming less powerful in comparison to singe-classes now, barring very good synergy and exacerbated by poor synergy, but I think 3 points every new powerlevel would be overkill. Honestly I think a better solution would be to go back to previous Beta's ability point structure, keep the changes spellcasters have with an extra spell per PL(add one for Wizards to make up for no default class ability like holy radiance or spirit shift), and put the more vanilla passives into something you can select with Proficiency points OR bring back Talents as a separate resource.

With the changes to single class talent/ability points, multiclasses are now slightly behind in terms of talents/abilities. Will multiclasses get more points as well or is the belief that multiclass synergy is enough of a benefit to consider multi and single balanced?

I only said Trilogy because of the BG2 mod. My point was a continuous playthrough of however many games feature the watcher would be pretty cool, even if this is only PoE and Deadfire.

The Watcher is now fully voiced by Slavoj Zizek and the game's narrative is about toilets. A true classic that shames all modern films. The hell did I just saw. Oddly enough I assumed at the time that it was referencing Béla Tarr's The Turin Horse, since potatoes do play a rather, er, prominent role in the film. Yeah but no one outside of Poland can pronounce most of those names and the one they can pronounce raped a kid.

I think if there is a PoE 3, there should be a PoE Trilogy that plays the games continuously in one engine/ruleset. But given how radical the changes have been and the long years between releases, I doubt that will happen unless we find talented moders with no life or bribe Josh Sawyer with cute doggos and cats.
