  1. It's funny that they slept through the appalling conditions nike products are produced in but when the kneeling football man does an ad they lose their ****. Priorities I guess.
  2. It's easier to get flanked with the per affliction than it is through positioning, which is bad for Streetfighters.
  3. Devoted/Monk with swords or sabres looks pretty good, you can hit all the physical damage types and have access to some very good ability synergy.
  4. New Mexico is.
  5. Whataburger is better anyways.
  6. I've got a bet going, anyone know if he was an incel or mentally ill? 20 bucks is on the line.
  7. This but unironically.
  8. That assumes Sharpe and the LP want to change it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the LP fully supports protection of property codified into law as well as the "standard laws" against murder, rape, etc. Who do you think will enforce that and what do you think they will do to those violating the law?
  9. Well no ****, the state being an organ of repression is widely accepted among almost every ideology.
  10. Well if I'm elected we'll embrace what makes America the greatest country in the world.
  11. You can also just scout ahead with a high per character. It takes some time, but it'd be silly to make traps avoidable/trivial as that'd beat the entire point of having unnoticed traps. Ideally you just combine a high per char with high mechanics. I'm also not certain i'm comfortable with eder petting sensitive machinery like that. What happens when you don't have a high Per character, like if you pissed off Palengina and Maia? I'm not saying traps should be trivial, I just want mechanics like it was in PoE because it's annoying that my 20-something mechanics Eder can't notice some traps right in front of him and Aloth bites it walking across. All they would have to do to remedy this is allow Mechanics to influence detection as much as Perception.
  12. No, because the tweaks always seem to involve bloating hp and armor to add tedium instead of making the combat more tactically challenging. Watching my party graze **** to death isn't very hard, it's just boring. I would instead prefer something like Hardcore Mode in New Vegas that introduces new mechanics to make the game harder, like penalties for not eating or sleeping for the party or something. Or a SCS tier uprgrade to AI. I would also like the game easier in one respect: traps. A trap field can easily kill party members and to my knowledge traps are only detectable by high per characters, so my Eder who specializes in mechanics is useless for spotting a tripwire right in front of him. I suggest giving a chance to avoid injury with defenses and allowing the mechanics skill as well as perception to check for traps.
  13. Libertarians are ancap-lite who accept the need of a state to protect their property but think it can be kept small instead of worshiping Pinochet to own the left. Anarchists are pretty cool guys who we have to thank for a lot of the early labor movement including the haymarket affair, something tells me they wouldn't get on very well with libertarians.
  14. I'm sure James Weeks has a bare platform.
  15. surely you mean "lol" The idea people who sell sex can't get raped is to common irl to be funny. Even if it's coming from a Superior! video game forum personality.
  16. In general casters benefit much more from increased power level and don't have synergy like the martial classes do. Druids seem to be better as a multi with martial classes because of Spirit Shift.
  17. This I would actually also be okay with. A 19th century fantasy game would be neat. We could have fantasy Marxism clashing against fantasy fascism. As long as the material is given appropriate consideration (and there is no option to let fascism win, because as much as I love options in role playing, **** fascism). More likely the fantasy Paris Commune and the fantasy split of the 1st international, fantasy fascism would be 50 or so years after. Mostly I want a new protagonist because the Watcher would have to be set back to level 1 again and there's not much more they can do. Also new characters instead of getting the band back together. Probably, Deadfire was rated well, and we've seen two crowdfunding campaigns get Obsidian about 4 million for the series.
  18. how dare they Ikr? Its our own fault though, they've been raised to think that they are special and unique. And the sound of their own voice thrills them to no end. Ah yes, I too yearn for bygone days when peasants knew their place and were content to let only their betters speak. Just wait a few years and the ancap-altright coalition will bring it back.
  19. Private companies deleting accounts is something to be afraid of and is a major flaw of having communication channels in private hands. https://static.theintercept.com/amp/facebook-says-it-is-deleting-accounts-at-the-direction-of-the-u-s-and-israeli-governments.html Oh **** that was over half a year ago and being done at the behest of a government. Nevermind, not as important as some water filter and supplement salesmen getting banned for harassing families.
  20. It felt too short and coming in with a level 20 party it was anti-climatic as well. Had more trouble with traps (party was low Per except for Maia) than I did with any encounters on Veteran no level scaling. The lack of new abilities or level cap was a let down as well, if you're already geared up with upgraded equipment no real reason to change things up. Overall I'd say it will probably fold into the main game nicely as a side story, but not really good to play with a party from an endgame save. I hope future DLCs bring in a higher levelcap or new abilities to play with, and some sea monsters would be pretty good as well.
  21. PoE 3 should take place 200-300 years in the future(19th century feel) where the influence of the Gods is waning and industrialization is happening. Everyone from PoE and Deadfire is dead while the story isn't neurotically divided between chasing a statue and playing politics with factions. Most importantly, there is a codpiece revolver similar to what Sex Machine in From Dusk till Dawn had.
  22. The problems begin when they aren't delivered what they thought they were buying, and in such a case are too sick to muster the energy to fight the insurance company over every denied claim or extra charges. This happens with all plans, including pretty good PPO plans, and good luck finding the money and time to sue your insurance provider when you got the cancer.
  23. It can be more challenging than it was, but I've been killed by traps several times(no high Per party and mechanics don't factor into detection) and only been wiped in one encounter on hard
  24. Is it wrong that I read your post as "bit goy"? Yes, stop going on /pol/ and go outside,
