  1. How dare you, Alan! How dare you come in here with reasonable thinking and rational accounts! The internet is for wild overreactions, sweeping generalizations, doomsaying, trolling, and occasionally funny memes. We'll have none of that rational thinking here, mister. Now go to the corner and think about what you've done.
  2. More like TrissFX. You, sir, have just won the internets.
  3. I demand a Super Boobs™ option in the settings that requires a separate physics card to run! Are you sure you're not thinking of Dead or Alive? Also, TressFX, pfft! AMD should have been working on BreastFX instead. Give the people what they want!
  4. They need to save something for E3 2014.
  5. Bill Shatner is the best. These days it's intentional comedy, but he is still the Undisputed Heavyweight Unintentional Comedy Champion of the World: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvQwXOCKNLY
  6. Some new screenies (I think these are all new): Somebody needs to back off on the sharpen filter just a tad, otherwise they look spectacular. The level of detail on dem flyin' beasties is ridiculous. I'll be building a new system around the time this game should be coming out. I may need to pack 2 or 3 GTX880s or R10 390Xs or whatever to get this level of eye orgasm.
  7. True. Though, if I read correctly, the game has Steam Workshop integration and you can scoop up a bunch of user made routes for free.
  8. One last paragraph about the Sawx, then I'll give it a rest. It was meant to be this year. Everything fell into place. Lackey was finally fully healthy and finally became they guy they were hoping he would be. Buchholz came back strong and was at least healthy for half of the season. New arrivals Victorino, Napoli, and Gomes gave the team more than most people thought they would (Napoli and Gomes not so much in overall stats, but with big timely hits). Koji Uehara was essentially picked up off the scrapheap and after not one but two closers went down with season ending injuries, he inexplicably turned into 1990 Dennis Eckersley (okay, I may be overstating that one just a little bit). You can't really duplicate a season like this, but it will be interesting to watch them try next year.
  9. Yeah, I can also now mainly concentrate on the NFL. That's not necessarily a good thing, though, as I'm a Cowboys fan and this is our team theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnHmskwqCCQ Anyway, there's always hot stove.
  10. Nice. It was down to this and Euro Truck Simulator 2 for me. One really cool thing I've heard about this franchise is that anyone that had Train Simulator 2013 got automatically upgraded to Train Simulator 2014 for free. Hopefully they do this for TS2015 too. Sure would be nice if the big publishers treated their customers like that instead of, here's a "new" Madden or FIFA with slightly upgraded graphics and updated rosters, otherwise basically identical to the previous game, pay us $60.
  11. Looks like she went in for a close look of your thick junk. The badonkadonk comes from the Orcish side of my family.
  12. I have nothing against "childish" games, some of the best games ever have been silly & "childish". Super/Paper Mario, Rayman, Pikmin, Psychonauts, Monkey Island, Sam & Max, and Space Quest, just to name a few. Just because a game appeals to a wide audience, including children, doesn't mean it can't appeal to adults. Games don't have to be grim and/or gritty to be good. I'm 37 years old and I still play "childish" games. I say that with pride.
  13. That's what indies are for, though I'll give Ubisoft some credit for publishing some different (and/or old school) games in the near future (Might & Magic X: Legacy, Child of Light, Valiant Hearts: The Great War), plus recently the wonderful Rayman games and the gloriously goofy Blood Dragon. Also, I need Mirror's Edge 2 to happen, so EA can't go under just yet.
  14. LOL. My team managed to go up against one of the few teams with a fanbase more obnoxious than our own. Vastly more obnoxious in this case.
  15. This one is my favorite Halloween Masquerade of Liars mask: Also, notice my Doomguide companion hiding behind me.
  16. Isometric was one of the core elements of the pitch/promise during the Kickstarter campaign so an isometric game it will be.
  17. There's always xpadder if you're really dead set on using a controller. Obviously, it won't be ideal, but I'm sure it will be feasible.
  18. **** yes! **** yes! **** yes! Shane Victorino, the Miniature Giant Hawaiian puts the Sawx on top with a 3 run triple! Edit: Make that a double plus an extra base on the throw home. Edit 2: So much for Stephen Drew's slump as he smashed a solo blast into the bullpen to put the Sawx up 4-0. Edit 3: Wacha Wacha Wacha exits the game and Napoli greets the new pitcher Lynn with a single to put the Sawx up 5-0. The Cards' season is on life support. Edit 4: The Miniature Giant Hawaiian hits a ribbie single. 6-0, this game has been broken wide open. Lackey is FINALLY getting run support. I suppose this is as good a time as any.
  19. Is it bad? It depends on what context you put it in. By today's standards it's very basic, at the time it came out it was sort of gorundbreaking, being one of the first games in the genre other than roguelikes. It's the precursor to the Ultima series.
  20. Game 6 is almost here. Time to get the beer. I'm so freakin' nervous right now.
  21. Yeah, it's looking doubtful it will make funding. My main issue with the project, and the reason I didn't pledge to the project, and will not, is how ridiculously ambitious it is. Even on a 20 or 30 million dollar budget this project would seem extremely ambitious to me. I can't fathom it being made for half a million dollars. I just don't see how it's possible. I would love to see it made and might buy it were it come to fruition, but I have no faith that they could get it done on that budget.
  22. I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in Random Video Game News. Anyway, you have got to be ****ing kidding me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2tw5CWxFJk
  23. Not before they release Beyond Good and Evil 2, after that, I don't much care what happens to them. (Though Watch Dogs is shaping up to look pretty impressive) But tell me, aside from sports games, which I could not care less about, what was the last qualitatively good game EA released? So 2025 then? Geeeeeez JFSOCC I've never known you to be so vindictive If EA goes under this would effect Bioware and why would any lover of RPG want something to negatively impact the company that has brought us some of the greatest RPG of all time ? In the highly unlikely event that EA were to bite the dust, BioWare would be fine. The other publishers would get into a bidding war to buy them.
