  1. Mine comes out to Curse of the Flesh Eating Werewolves
  2. 1/9 here. Wooo, go Murica!
  3. Good lord, I hate roundabouts with a passion, just the regular variety (we thankfully have very few in Murica, at least where I live), but the one in #6 is just a horrific monstrosity.
  4. Yeah, the Celtics screwed up a bit last night by winning (the Jazz had a quarter where they scored 8 points. 8 points!), but they're still in good shape. If there's ever a year to bottom out, this is it, as the next draft is being projected to be the best in some 20 years. There's no point in the Celtics scratching and clawing just so they can be a 35 win team.
  5. oh. my. god. Holy ****, that is pretty freakin' awesome.
  6. I'm not convinced but I am interested. I'll keep an eye on this. Hopefully Guido and Co. divulge a lot more particulars before the campaign is over. It worries me if you aren't convinced When you become confidant that this project is viable then I'll consider supporting it. You are my litmus test for any game that I don't know about Yeah, well, I mean nothing said in the pitch video was bad, but not too much to get me really excited either. Different races, different classes, stats, skills, kill monsters, dungeons, outdoor areas, that could be literally any fantasy RPG ever. One thing I liked was when Guido talked about party members having personalities, conversing with each other, potentially getting into fights, or flat out leaving. That I like, that's cool. Other than that, everything else sounded pretty much like standard paint by numbers fantasy RPG.
  7. That reminds me of some video of one of the recent Gears of War games where the person playing the game would literally do nothing just let the AI squadmates do all the work for him and you could basically run through the entire game like that. Many of the big explosionfest extravaganzas these days are basically on-rails. The games are entirely designed on forcing you to go from setpiece to setpiece.
  8. I'm not convinced but I am interested. I'll keep an eye on this. Hopefully Guido and Co. divulge a lot more particulars before the campaign is over.
  9. There is definitely a big difference between units shipped and units sold.
  10. Or red.
  11. I would imagine the split would be 1/3 TB 1/3 RTwP 1/3 indifferent. Those highly scientific figures are based on absolutely nothing and were simply pulled out of my rear end. The devs themselves are leaning toward turn-based. Because of the way Numenera works turn-based seems like by far the easiest adaptation (I guess this would be true for most tabletop games). Going RTwP would require significant modifications to the system.
  12. Update 24: Roll For Initiative: Turn-based for the win!
  13. It's actually pretty decent if you have someone to play it with in co-op... /searches for something else positive to say ... ... I got nothin'.
  14. F3AR is gone. FEAR 2 still available.
  15. I have no idea, but I hope they keep doing it because I like free money.
  16. /thinks bout track record of movie licensed video games //watches trailer Yep, seems about right.
  17. This is less weird and more just plain sad and pathetic, but I didn't want to make another thread called "There's No Hope Left For Humanity Thread" so I put it here: Calgary School Bans Honour Roll And so the there are no winners and losers movement spins even further out of control. This is the same bull**** that removed scoring from Little League games and makes sure that everyone gets a participation trophy for everything. What better way to encourage young people to strive for excellence than by removing all incentives and recognition for achieving excellence. If there is a higher power up there listening and watching, send the asteroid, make sure it's big enough to do the job completely. There is no hope for the human race. Wipe the planet clean, maybe the ****roach race that takes over will be less retarded. Edit: LOL at the forum auto-censoring <name of insect>
  18. Euro Truck Simulator 2 - 43 hours and counting.
  19. I scooped up the WB Humble Bundle and got a bunch of games. Among the games in the bundle are FEAR2 and F3AR, neither of which I have any intention of ever playing. If anyone wants either game, I'll gift it to you. Drop me a PM, first come first serve, one game per person.
  20. I posted this a page or two ago but it got buried in BEWBGATE 2013. I've been playing Grim Dawn for a couple months now (I was a backer from even before the Kickstarter) and it's a great game and in very good shape for an alpha. There is one act available to play now which takes me usually about 15 or 16 hours to complete, could be done in under 10 if you rushed through it. Another act should be added soon.
  21. From a chronological perspective it all makes perfect sense. In Torture Porn Raider Lara is still young and out to prove her own worth so she doesn't want to be living off Daddy Warbucks' money. In the earlier games (later in the game universe timeline) she's already a famous treasure hunter who has made a fortune and has had plenty of money to get big ol' implants, hence why her boobs are so much bigger and so fake looking.
  22. Excellent, this is now the third time in a row when someone has reposted the news I had already posted a bit earlier Boobs sure can have a blinding effect though, the roads are bloody dangerous every spring. My post was a whole 5 minutes after yours, it took me longer than that to link the text and copy the game titles (I'm at work so it can take me a while to make a post in between doing actual work) so I never saw your post until after I already posted. The lesson here is that I should probably be doing more actual work and less posting on forums right now.
  23. Old school Lara had bigger bewbs - fact New school Lara is more attractive - opinion (my opinion) Meanwhile, while this ridiculous argument is going on, actual video game news is happening: There is a new Humble Bundle featuring WB games Arkham Asylum, FEAR 2 & 3, and LotR War in the North. Plus Arkham City & Scribblenauts Unlimited if you pay more than $4.23 (at the moment).
