I "finished" IS Defense, meaning I got enough cumulative kills on all the maps to "beat" each level. You get a short cutscene at the end with a not completely happy ending. It took me a little ove 3 hours to finish the game, for $8 that seems fair, given I had fun the whole time. I'm going to continue playing the game trying to beat my personal best scores (currently 10:32 for map 1, 8:14 for map 2, and 4:16 for map 3 [map 3 is brutally hard]) and ****ing around in Saints Row 2 until the 3rd and final episode of The Detail comes out, which should be the end of this month, at which point I'm going to buy and play that game (I don't buy or play episodic games until all episodes are out).

Jimmy Johns is selling $1 subs today and there's a Jimmy Johns about a 10 minute drive down the road from me. Edit: I gotta hand it to them, they live up to their motto "freaky fast subs". I was only planning on getting one, since it was one per customer, though you could get another $1 sub if you wait in line again. The line stretched out of the door, down the sidewalk of the small plaza (Jimmy Johns was a centrally located building), and around the corner. I figured it would be a 25 minute wait or so, judging by the length of the line. It wound up being less than 10 minutes and when I got out the line was slightly shorter, so I just got right back in line and got another $1 sub.

Looks like Spike Chunsoft may make another Fire Pro Wrestling game if they get enough chatter from fans. Likely a publicity stunt for a game they were going to release one way or another, but I'm down for Fire Pro regardless.

That game was a farce. The amount of blatant illegal screens and fouls not called during that game was comical. Dudes were getting thrown to the ground, literally grabbed and thrown, and nothing was called. That was basically Harlem Globetrotters vs Washington Generals. That said, Kobe's performance was still impressive, given his age and the mileage on his body. Given that it was the final game of one of the all-time greats and that the game had no bearing on the playoffs, I don't mind that much. But let's not pretend that was a real NBA game. That was an exhibition.

Adrian Carmack and John Romero were 2 of the 4 founders of Id Software. Adrian left Id and the games industry in 2005. John left Id in 1996 and created one of the most famous flops in vidya games history with Daikatana and is probably best knows in meme form these days because he was going to make us his bitches and make us suck it down, but before that he was the designer of Wolfenstein 3D, Hexen, Doom, and Quake.

Dear Lord, that is ugly as sin. It's a similar, and just as ugly, design to the one Nvidia used for their Shield console. Still, it's there to power games, not to be gawked at, so as long as it performs it doesn't really matter what it looks like.

CD Projekt RED is like Valve and Blizzard. They work on their own schedule, they don't worry about deadlines, and they release things when they're damn well ready to release them. The common thread between those 3 companies is that they can afford to do that because they have steady income coming in from other sources.

That I fully agree with. One of the prevalent opinions (at least the ones they say out loud) of those on the left is that Trump is a blithering idiot, which he is certainly not. Egotistical? Yes. Audacious? Yes. Dangerous? Perhaps. Stupid? No. What Trump is doing is calculated and it's working. I do believe that he believes much of what he preaches, but he's clearly turning it up to 11 because he understands how to work a crowd and elicit a reaction.

There is a wacky conspiracy theory floating out there that this is a ploy by Trump to get Hillary elected (sabotage the GOP then drop out or nuke his own campaign once he secures the Republican bid). I'm assuming it would be in exchange for a cushy cabinet position or some sort of favors for his businesses?
