  1. Soul bound weapon doesn’t feel unique in deadfire, but that’s maybe because all unique weapons are pretty unique..... And I don’t like the class restrictions of them...
  2. After finished deadfire, I’ve an urge to replay icewind dale 2, with tactics mod.
  3. Apparently, you're both right. Both Venombloom and Plague of Insects gain +1 PL per point in Alchemy, resulting in disgusting amounts of raw damage per 3 sec. Yeah you can build a venom theme Wizard/Assassin build with high alchemy now
  4. I want to summon holy avenger for my pals. And Deprive the Unworthy back to game.
  5. Yeah I like the idea so if we finished one companion's personal quest, we shall be able to use his/her subclasses next playthrough, or maybe with the help of Berath's Blessing. I also hope we can choose Steel Garrote paladin and Wodica priest in the incoming DLCs.
  6. yeah this one xD He followed you even with only skull...
  7. @Boeroer, so you remember we had that Rogue Abilities causing AOE affliction with rod thing in beta right? I'm surprised that they didn't fix it by removing AOE proc from rod blast but by making all rogue abilities single target only... So you can still proc AOE stun with Monk stunning strike, or use FoD with rod, while all Rogue abilities are nerfed to single target only. I don't understand the reason behind this solution honestly. So rogue CC multiple target is considered OP, while Monk stun mutiliple target is not?
  8. Same as Boeroer, I didn't bother to make builds right now... Maybe when the game is fixed.
  9. 1. Sungrazer has 10% chance to trigger a meteor attack on any hit roll u made, which includes spell and phrase. 2. Sun and Moon has 33% chance to trigger another fire attack, this also include spell and phrase. So your dragon thrashed has 33% chance to proc itself, 10% chance to proc meteor, meteor also inherently this feature, which results in a cascading effect. I just add returning storm to get more hits.
  10. As my video below, combining Chanter/Druid + Sungrazer + Sun and Moon + Dragon Thrashed + Returning Storm. Enjoy the auto meteor shower :D
  11. One thing i discovered is that you can combine Dragon Thrashed + Returning Storm + Sungrazer + Sun and Moon, all your hits has a chance to trigger the Meteor effect and hit everybody who is affected by Dragon Thrashed/Returning Storm.
  12. Oh so base engagement is gone in Deadfire? That explained why the most enemies in the game cannot engage... Honestly I prefer pillar one's way that everybody has at least one engagement, any reason why they changed it in DF?
  13. You can stack crazy accuracy with a fighter/ranger or wizard/ranger. I'm able to reach 195 accuracy with spearcaster But I guess there isn't any enemy to match with enough deflection in the game :/
  14. I like your idea, so each captain level unlocking some unique items sounds reasonable, and is a good way to avoid getting top gear too early.
  15. I like the idea, so u can choose between diversity and specialization.
  16. An encounter with 8 Crusader with best gears full resistance Watch them charge into your team’s weakest member and stomp them with FoD :D
  17. 1. Whispers of the endless path, you can get it forged right after leaving port manja. 2. Talking sword modwyr, u can get it with stealth, and upgrade it to max version instantly. 3. You can steal two top gear from the merchant in Crookspur at night. 4. You can steal a top quarterstaff in dark cupboard. There are many many similar gears u can get without fight. And I know someone will argue it requires pre-knowledge of the game, but I ask u to think about this, who will do this kind of things are mostly min-max power gamer. A casual player will not use these tricks in his playthrough. Therefore it is very non-sense to argue a min maxer using pre knowledge to get advantage of the game. The real thing is the advantages is so big it makes the game boring. Another issue of this gear distribution comes to my mind is, I never feel excited when I get new gears. Honestly after I got Whisper of endless, any other magical 2h sword feels so dull to me. For example I finally discovered how to find that sanguine 2h sword, it should be very exciting. But the real thing is it is very boring because it is very inferior to Whisper. Being able to access to top gear in early game kills the fun of looting. I think it’s better to reduce the enchantment level of these early accessible gears, and make the upgrade material rarer.
  18. We can design some prototype for enemies. So what if the enemy team is made of an unbroken/wizard tank, a bleakwalker/assassin to kill backrows fast, a blackjack/ranger for interrupt caster and dispel protections. A single class wizard for blast, and a few minions. I’m pretty sure this can be a challenging encounter. Now? We only meet with enemy of ****ty combos, pure fighter pure priest pure wizard, pretty lame I’d say. They rush to us like headless fly that being killed without doing anything. Also it would be nice if we can customize AI for enemies, and share our best AI sets to others.
  19. If solo, fighter is absolutely better. If in team, pal is better obviously. Fighter has better and earlier AOE, also might, dex and resolve resistance is most useful when soloing. INT resistance from paladin is better when in team since u can help other team member who is charmed.
  20. And you don't need to reload btw, just use charge again...
  21. So my Fighter/Ranger with Kitchen Stove + Wild Barrage can trigger tons of attacks during Charge. Each target on my way will trigger a full two blunderbuss attack + 2 jump from Wild Barrage + 1 jump from Driving Flight, result in one shot anyone in the screen. Does this need to be so good?
