The Possibility of a delayed (2015) release
Well, I don't mind if Obsidian puts Eternity out on early access. What people do with their money doesn't concern me, so if they feel a demo is worth $60, fine. Though for selfish reasons I'd hate to see Eternity delayed again. Divinity and Wasteland2 will keep me over until Q4, but after that I'll be sure to be craving something new soon.

Update #78: The Leaders of the Band: Chanters and Priests
http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/66195-update-78-the-leaders-of-the-band-chanters-and-priests/page-3?do=findComment&comment=1449493 Yes, I saw your post the first time. But maybe I should have written "turns out to not have been a companion all along or has been otherwise altered" instead of "removed" to be perfectly clear.

Update #78: The Leaders of the Band: Chanters and Priests
Is there actually any evidence that Kana Rua is a companion, besides the fact that he/she is a named character? Because if so, wouldn't that mean the previously pitched number of 8(?) companions has increased? Or alternativley that one of the former introduced companions has been removed? With Kana Rua included we now have 8 but Josh said in another forum post that there would also be a fighter class companion, so...

Unacceptable. Unacceptable! Edit: I didn't read the post before mine. How embarrassing.

Update Content Suggestions
Eh, there are so many niche aspects of the game we have no more then a few specs of info on I hardly know where to start suggesting. On the other hand, I DO know what kind of (reoccuring) filler update I'd like to see less of... bah. Back on topic: - Monsters, including the ingame model and a discriptive text for each. (Pls more than 3!) - Our Companions, hardly any info on them and mostly Kickstarter time artwork except for Edér and Palegina. - An example Quest rundown, skill usage, battles, choices and the consequences thereof included. - Instead of an Artwork update, how about a screenshot update? Show the Party in battle, some dialog or the streets of a city with all it's NPCs. - Show of some of the magic weapons, explain the possible types of enchantments and give us a taste of the flavor text and artwork. - Races and their subraces. What boni do they get? - Talents? There is so much,... It drives me mad the updates are usually so short.

Is running away from fights possible? Wilderness encounter placement? Enemy Morale?
The problem I could see coming from this is that it could make it (more easily) possible to kite enemies, like in Gothic for example: 1.) Take any ranged weapon, 2.) Start shooting at monster from as far away as possible, 3.) when it gets close run away 4.) laugh as it stops after a set distance from its spawnpoint, 5.) wait until it has returned and start over at 1.).

Podcast interview with Josh
Some really reassuring words there regarding the overall feeling of the game. But no new details, except some personal views from Josh.

Will Pillars of Eternity have better combat system than Dragon Age Origins?
There were multiple types of every enemy you listed. Also humans, elves, dwarves, animals, spirits, undead, liches, and werewolves just off the top of my head. I'd be happy if the combat is as good as DA:O's. I think it has a good chance to be better thanks to a greater variety of classes and a superior spell list. I'd love for the game to have really good AI, which I felt was a weak point of DA:O. Eh, still quite a few less then what BG had, especially if we count variants of the same base creature.

Varied loot and balanced random loot tables = even more replayability?
Ohhhhhh c'mon guys !!! You kill Dritzz for the scimitars ..? He should be able to insta-kill the party, as in truth NO BG1 party is able to kill him without exploiting the battle. Anyway, ok, powergamers duuuuuuh, no respect for the least itsy-bitsy part of RP. Not your fault you exist, but it's the game's fault that allows you to act in such manner. *edit*: hopefully PoE will have what it takes not to allow such exploits Yeah, thanks for putting words in my mouth jackass. Please do show me the sentence where I say that I love exploiting game mechanics to get my hands on unobtainable loot! Work on your reading comprehension instead of making stuff up.

About Localization of Pillars of Eternity in Turkish
This thread is hilarious! You can't make up comedy like this.

Varied loot and balanced random loot tables = even more replayability?
Weird, that's actually stuff I love, especially for a re-run. Knowing to which shop to go to equip my party with some crutial items, optimizing your character early with that great class-specific item you only get from that one monster, knowing secret places to give yourself a little headstart, stuff like that... So I guess I'll have to disagree with you there.

You can balance EVERYTHING by changing just once aspect of a game aspect that is subject to balance...
I don't even... What are you saying here? "Nothing can be OP, you just have to make it balanced somehow"? Genius!

Update #76: Music in Pillars of Eternity
Ha! I hope you like argyle. Thanks for taking it with humor, like I said it's not that I don't appreciate your work its just that since updates are only once every two weeks, each time I seriously hunger for more details on spells, skills, items, lore, classes or monsters. Though if you want to listen to one of my requests then I'd ask of you to try an emulate the combat music of BG2 above all others. Unlike with other games, when I listen to BG 1+2 combat music I can really hear a battle unfold and even single blows landing with a loud crash from a kettledrum. I like combat music to be heavy handed (unsure if that describes it correctly) with some choir bits to make it epic (not being ironic here), a good example would be "The Last Battle" from Baldurs Gate.

Update #76: Music in Pillars of Eternity
While I greatly enjoy the music sample and don't want to demean Justin's writeup I can't help but wish we'd get such a long and indepth written update about something more exciting,.. something more game related. These types of updates feel a bit like getting socks for Christmas: Practical but boring.

Release on 2015 if that will mean a better game
Well, in that case I hope it reaches their ears that I don't want PoE to be delayed by even a single month. I have been fruitlessly waiting for (a game like) this since I finished Throne of Bhaal and I'm not willing to take this suffering longer then absolutley necessary.

Overland travel map question
I'd say so, post #96 here. Edit: Kinda spoilerish in a way, if you care about that, since you can see a lot of travel locations on the map.

Overland travel map question
The last we saw the map it looked pretty much identical to the Baldurs Gate version. Clickable locations on a 2D world map.

Please make your expansion's story fit within the main one
Hm, interestingly I find myself between Hormalakhs and Frenzy-Kuns opinion, though I disagree more strongly with Frenzy. To be honest the way ToB handled it is more or less the perfect way to do an expansion in my opinion, regardless of how "good" ToB itself was in the end. On one hand the expansion should be a continuation of the main story or at least hook into some plot detail and branch of from there so it can continue the story of my character. Just adding additional map locations with extra sidequests/companions/items into PoE makes it feel like DLC and is only really interesting if I start a new game from the beginning but doesn't fire me up to go back, when I already completed the game with my favorite character, just so I get 100% completion . On the other hand I DO like it when the AddOn also gives me something extra when I start a fresh game. Just like ToB did with Watchers Keep and some added Prestige Classes. Though I would prefer it if this added content was actually not an extra dungeoncrawl akin to WK but a more open area, something like Trademeet in BG2, with a handfull of self contained quests.

Josh Sawyer on dealing with grognards
Eh, from what I am told RPS has been dead set on becoming the next Kotaku anyway. But one more reason not to take what they say too seriously.
