The potential drawback of becoming a management-type is that you don't get hands on work as often as you're too busy directing the efforts of other people. On the other hand you get more influence over the vision of the projects you're directing. Personally I prefer getting my hands dirty with the nitty gritty details. Attending meetings all the time gets rather old.

I think pretty much because it was derailed by Atari over DRM issues. Mysteries of Westgate was a decent enough module at a $10, but it was completed in 2007 and then only released in 2009. I think that heel dragging by Atari may have scared off other potential commercial mod builders. The fact that the fan-built Baldur's Gate Reloaded module has been downloaded (uniquely) 25,000 times and IWD 9,000 times shows there's still a market, albeit a small one.

Today's headline reads, "Trump Campaign Manager Charged with Battery in Florida". Is just me or does anybody else wonder where his plug is located?

I've been experiencing the same problem while trying to reload the game from Steam. I have 150 Gb of free space on the SSD J drive; it says it needs 17780 Mb. Everything else is working fine.

I am a little concerned that it may end up like the IWD games: lots of combat, but little story. They can't change BG2 much, so nothing you do in this interlude is going to matter in the long run.

Thank you Obsidian for continuing to refine and repair PoE and its expansions. Sounds like it's just about ready for me to take another run through.

I wouldn't mind an alternative history RPG. Say one that involved a team of time travelers heading back to a specific epoch for some reason. A little advanced technology intermixed with historical realism would make for a more interesting game, I think.
