He actually got his start around these parts (Seattle), and we saw him on the popular local comedy show Almost Live. Quite the humorous guy, and his science presentations were almost always entertaining. Unfortunately, as of late he gets a lot of negative press from the anti-science types. A sign of these recidivistic times, I guess.

I really don't want to know too much about him until the game is out. -

So money made him realize he was wrong the first time around? Mmm, the two are not mutually exclusive. See epigenetics for example.

I wonder whether we will discover other deities for non-PC races? How about the Vithrack, for example? -

They should use whatever makes the most sense for the circumstances. -
There was an old SPI wargame based on the early part of the Korean war, called "Korea". I played it a few times when I was younger. The rugged terrain and shape of the peninsula made for a pretty uninteresting game though. It's somewhat reminiscent of the Italian peninsula campaign during WW II -- only the sea landings made it at all interesting. Otherwise it's an endless slugfest.

Beefy Wizards would make the ultimate bullies. Possibly that's why some people don't like the concept? -

Yes, I like video games for the sense of escapism, control, tactical problem solving, sense of accomplishment, and novelty they provide. Especially when the weather is too dreary for outdoor activities, and the TV shows are lame. Books and movies provide some of the same enjoyment factors as games, but you're entirely in the hands of the writer/director.

For his latest beastie, Kallister 68 has been working on an Otyugh model: He's still tuning the animation. -

They could just as easily provide a talent that flips the magic Attribute dependencies for damage and AoE; a high Int, low Mig caster can cast a tiny but intense fireball. Physical damage, of course, would stay with Mig. -
Well sorry, but I can't say I'm really disappointed. Assuming they meant giant sea monsters, I was wondering how they were going to make an encounter even interesting. It would seem like all you'd be doing is trying to inflict enough damage on the beastie before your hull cracks open and you drown. There's not really a lot of tactics involved, unless the big monster is accompanied by smaller allies.

Evolution creates homosexuality. There must be a survival benefit for a species or it would rapidly die out. Insecurity is likely a different survival mechanism.

I noticed there's a pretty robust commode located in the upper left. The seat is much larger than any of the chairs in the area. Maybe it's a special accommodation in case of visits by Hugh Jass?

Why are there no Wizard spells with singular attribute drains or boosts? There are spells that apply status effects, but none that apply, say, a Dex only boost similar to cat's grace. Not even one that would instead apply a bonus to Reflex.
