  1. YES. The taking time to explore argument is complete BS. This isn't a bethesda game. It must have choices and consequences, how to spend your time should be one of those choices. The best way to make both parties happy is, to have limited enemies and content in each area. no respawns. so that a theoritical and possibly actual time limit can be achieved without forcing someone to i.e. ignore or miss a very good sidequest. Bigger cities/areas of course will give much more time, than a small village one passes by while hunting a big bad. Of course, there should always be cases in which you can relax a bit.
  2. http://forums.obsidi...the-monk-class/ Welcome to the club. Personally I think some kind of background could determine what kind of monk one is. Considering that Vallians are supposed to be big merchants, it wouldn't be off the charts to have someone from the "Far East" equivalent of the P:E world. Though it shouldn't be commonplace. etc. But Forton specifically, I don't like. He's just too transparent. The NeverWinter like eye on his abdomen doesn't make it better. If monks do learn martial arts in the "west" equivalent, at least dress west-like.
  3. Don't forget the geth unicorn on your way back!
  4. It still seems off to me. The head just looks too big/heavy, compared to the body. I'm assuming it's the jaw's and cheeks' problem, at least from her left side.
  5. There is a button next to the "Multiquote" button below your post. There is a time limit though. Nice job on the hair colour. The jaw and chin are a bit too big IMHO. Or perhaps the cheeks are too straight.
  6. My wording was off I guess. I have no real problem with the comment, I just don't like too much thought/work being put into houses, strongholds etc.
  7. Well, if they do have the ability, I know what name I'll give to Forton(and possibly the other two guys)! Why would you get those as followers in the first place?
  8. Well, just as I expected ) You simply have no idea on how important the right way of breathing during the battle. Do it wrong and you'll be dead in a minute. Well aren't you a master of battle knowledge? NO. While fighting the breathing must be as natural as possible. There is no right or wrong, that is different than what's best anywhere else. But of course you are a master of battle arts right?
  9. I second this. Also if you decide to go for Forton, make his face look either like a bit more toughened up or monk-ish? He looks like an average old man that needs 10 pills per day as it is.
  10. Excellent work Staples! Love the art! Though she kinda looks like a dwarf, or maybe it's just me.
  11. They did the same with the world "scrolls", so I wouldn't put it past them. They try too hard to be EA, for us to not see it. That's why the symbol for PE changed. Of course I still keep it in my sig.
  12. Do you people even read what you write? So you want romances to be sidequests? You talk about how strong and deep romantic love is, compared to other relationships, and then you want it to be a sidequest. Not to mention MoTB had much better writing than BG2; in MoTB love was part of the theme, and for the 100th time every relationship(regardless of what kind) with a companion mattered and plot choices were affecting them. And they weren't a minigame to satisfy different sexual fantasies either. How does that make it a harder moral choice? Or shows that romances are adding to it and don't just make the game shallow? In fact your example does the opposite. "And the family aren't attractive at all"? Ugh.....
  13. Where "good" and "evil" choices can define and diversify the character, the plot and the story, romance minigames don't add anything beyond those dialogue sessions and a cutscene or two. They don't serve the plot, other than what goes on in your head, and they are too sappy to not feel artificial.
  14. What The ****? Why is obsession called dedication? That guy clearly has a problem, there is nothing to admire. If I was bioware, I would be happy that there are people like him paying me, for whatever **** I throw at them.
  15. You assume everyone on the forum/community votes. Not to mention arguments(which the romance crowd doesn't have) have more weight than poll results.
  16. Actually, you can get her quest and meet that "mentor" of hers just fine without romance.
  17. Dude, do you, or your character, really feel that much about a possessed character you've never met? Yeah, ok, killing children is bad; but forced melodrama doesn't help. To top it off the alternative is much better overall, so that scene is even more stupid.
  18. That's a huge shopping list. And I can make it without all the jewellery. One ring is enough I think. The fingers comment was a joke!
  19. Templars don't equal paladins. And the ones in DA aren't paladins. Paladins are "lawful good". Templars follow the laws of their own or an order's code, regardless of moral alignment(though they might think they do good). A templar will be an ass to anyone not following that code/law regardless of alignment.
  20. Skyrim had 5 slots? Anyway, the more -logical- ones the merrier, as long as enchantments don't make them overpowered. And I still haven't seen a game taking advantage of all the fingers for rings. Hat/mask/helmet Torso/cuirass greaves robe(possibly combining or overriding the torso and leg slots) cloak belt gloves/gauntlets boots/shoes amulet rings
  21. lol This isn't Larping. And forced drama isn't good. And that video doesn't own anything. There are much better scenes in video games and elsewhere. I don't understand this, will she grow more breasts, or will they scale in size?
