  1. Guys, it's not really a spoiler if this was a Reward Tier.
  2. Bad Builds are worse than Perfect Builds. What. No, come on man, don't you know anything? If you put any thought whatsoever into building an effective character, you're a huge munchkin who doesn't know REAL ROLEPLAYING. One of my pet peeves is the Moral Crusader that tries to break the game under the disguise of RPing.
  3. Yeah, Intermissions are fine. So, you know, that's kind of a lame design decision. I think that's actually the first really big thing I'll actually make a fuss about for change going on in the future. The cons for this type of system far outweigh the pros.
  4. Is there any way to be able to have the other party members talk to someone, in order to utilize their stats in conversation? I tried this once but it reverted back to my PC talking.
  5. Finding a good fit is hard. I believe I have Chanter stats down pat, but I have come to the conclusion that I will be playing a Fighter PC.
  6. Okay. Gonna use this for my fourth restart. As much as I love Chanters, a warrior works much better for RP purposes if I'm playing as my friends LARP character, Shiloh. Also, the ar vet background is the most interesting thus far. I tried RPing as a War Vet Support Chanter, but didn't feel it.
  7. I get a pop up but it redirects to my profile when I try to view acheevs.
  8. How did I do? (This was my very first character. I'm on my third playthrough now) Nice.
  9. Did you back it? Because if you are asking for a refund for your pledge.... they kinda spent that money, dude.
  10. Yes and no. Reasons I should say no: 1) It was an impulse raise. I literally raised my pledge in the last ten minutes. 2) Even though I did it for FRIENDSHIP!, I should have at least stopped at $250 or at maximum $500. 3) I ****ing wanted an NPC. It was not rational. I just wanted it. 4) I knew Backer NPCs would not be substantial, and they aren't (even though they do act as pretty nifty gameplay/narrative device). 5) The quality of KS games always varies. The bigger, the more potential to fail. 6) Even though I had the extra cash lying around, it was still a lot. Reasons I should say yes: 1) I did it for FRIENDSHIP!. Now one of my best friends and business partner, who was pretty depressed at the time, is in the game somewhere. 2) The game is ****ing amazing. 3) The response we got visiting Obsidian. 4) All of the physical extras are going to be auctioned off at Desert Bus for Hope. 5) I trusted Obsidian. 6) I had the extra cash lying around.
  11. Or, you know, they could just kickstart another one the way this one was funded.... Or they could have enough finances not to have to resort to fundraising to even stay open.
  12. I'll be getting mine before I go to WonderCon. It'll be a great surprise for my business partner (who is half the reason I spent so much).
  13. Man, the Account servers are getting hammered right now. It's slow as ****. The Prima Guide crashed three times for me.
  14. So, I won't be playing the game for at least a few more hours. Got a job interview with Lego soon. Anyone want to recommend builds for this party set-up?: Chanter Fighter Rogue Eothas Priest Bleak Walker Paladin Wizard 2nd Fighter/Barbarian
  15. Probably not, as Steam Workshop relies on the game having a back-end pipeline that allows for two-way content.
  16. You act like you invested $1 million or so, just quiet down and stop whining. Not even that. Don't act like Obsidian, a company of full grown men, is your ****ing kid. And don't proceed to **** all over the other backers. The beta comment is completely ridiculous because he's complaining that... the game wasn't done earlier? That Obsidian allowed people to see a work-in-progress? That they were transparent? That they wanted consumer feedback as the game was developed? And then to complain that piracy isn't a problem. Wow. I'm not even going to go into the brothel comment.
