If anyone wants the token Aspergers character in their heist group.... I'm in.

You meant for Obsidian to answer, but I'd also like to throw in my two cents. It would be an issue if it were cheats for moves you use during the fight, but they are selling easier button combinations for moves that have no effect on the player-driven side of the fight. By the time you use a fatality, there's already a winner. If they think they can make money off someone wanting to pay for easier endgame moves, more power to them. It doesn't affect you at all.

Pillars Vs Grimrock 2

These are nowhere near the same ballpark, dude. No way to compare. It's like asking which is better: Chrono Trigger or Fire Emblem? -
And here I thought I'd only be watching ONE episode of GoT tonite...

You don't condone piracy but - yeah, I can't even follow this logic. -
If you won't go to the trailer, I'll bring the trailer to you! Witcher 3: The Wild Fashion! Oh. My. God.

Hyperbole is stupid, which is why I said it was. Feargus actually had to publicly state TWICE why Obsidian changed the poem. So basically, at this point, you're arguing against the point that Obsidian should not be anti-hate speech. Literally, no matter how you cut it, Feargus said Obsidian is anti-hate, so what exactly do you think you are arguing against here other than that ideaology? That it wasn't hate speech? That's irrelevant, because they obviously thought it was.

16 and 50. Dear lord. And call me stupid, but I really shouldn't have to go to a separate window to view stats that should already be available to view on the character sheet. The current char sheet does so well, but it seems not well enough.

Grazes seem to serve no real purpose and are not explained at all. Well, other than buffing the perk lists that is. Right now, they are way too common, instead of what they should be which is uncommon. A graze should be something that gives your character some breathing room in the endgame of a fight, or makes them go "oh ffff". Right now, grazes are so common that they should just be called regular damage.

I mean, we're not talking about nazi stuff or child porn on one of their computers or something that would warrant actual, real discussion of a company or a person (because, let's face it, this thread is about attacking a person at this point). Say, like Chik-Fil-A, or Bank of America, or anti-vaxxers, or even Orson Scott Card's stance on homosexuals. You know, something that actually matters. Let me say that again: something that actually matters. The fact that some people feel so friggin' strongly about something that was already resolved peacefully and with consent from both parties as to make posts about it trying to villify others or distort reality so that their views don't collide is stupid. It's plain stupid. To act like Obsidian somehow gave up their morals because of a few lines of trivial, inconsequential text is stupid. To put that at the level of censorship of art and denying free speech is stupid. To imply that the next step is a dystopian society or even oppression of social groups is stupid. If your line in the sand is a user-made poem that Obsidian themselves wanted changed and was changed by the original backer... if that's your line in the sand... then you'll have a real hard time when actual socio-political elements rear their heads in situations other than a video game.

Did you even read the article? You know, there's really no point in debating whether or not he is right or wrong in your personal opinion. It's his game. He can do what he wants, and you don't have to agree with it just because it is Obsidian Entertainment. You don't need to justify why someone you like doesn't think like you. You don't need to agree with him in order to like his product.

PoE - Sales figures STEAM
Bryy replied to BillyCorgan's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Because people are sick of them. Anyway, PoE is still in the top Ten on Steam, that includes a new BIG release and a big sale on south park and some youtube deal with gtaV maybe, so far it´s doing goog. I would say let Obsidian come out when they are ready to say the sales and what they can do with money. Speculating is fun, but also pointless :D If you are sick of people who care about social justice, you should probably stop supporting Obsidian and their products, as they in fact do care about such things. Don't worry thought, I will buy an extra copy of their games because I do think it is important. That's a terrible slur on the our guys good name. They all strike me as being hale and hearty and of sound mind and body. A strong stench would linger around oneself if it were otherwise. ..... you do realize you're talking about people that asked a guy to change his poem because others got offended, right? I mean, that's not up for debate. -
Update 93: Patch 1.03 - Important Community Fixes
Bryy replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
Plainly because Intel, Microsoft's and HP's products aren't art. Processors and operating systems are utilities and I don't care about them. Those products are inherently neutral. How can you pack progressive ideology into a processor? Games I do care about, games are art. Therefore I will defend them from triggerhappy censors. I don't hate Obsidian, I just regret their choice. Okay, except that there's no reasonable argument that will define an ad created by Intel (a photograph which was planned out and edited to achieve the desired end product, with a bit or writing involved as well) as not being art, but will define a little poem made by a backer as art. Again, you're just singling this out and labeling it as art because it supports your agenda to do so. If Intel is "censoring" their ads so as not to offend people, then how is that better than Obsidian asking a backer if he wants to change his poem so as not to deal with people getting offended? Do you see how inconsistent that is? Because the backer really shouldn't have put Obsidian into this position To be fair, Josh did say that they don't properly vet all the content. So it's partially Obsidian's fault as well. -
PoE - Sales figures STEAM
Bryy replied to BillyCorgan's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Because Social Justice Warriors are poison, a cancer that never goes away. The best you can hope for is remission. It's like a cloud of diseased spores that worms it's way into every nook and cranny, looking for something to be offended by and attack; like a virus turning the own body against itself, or a fungus that corrupts and rots the brain until the organism climbs up high and kills itself. This is so much hyperbole other hyperboles ask it for candy money.
