Well, it's pretty bvious who the villain of PoE 2 will be (spoilers naturally)
PoE 2 most assuredly will not be a prequel. It will be more sequely than the expansions.

Obsidian: PoE was critical success, so kickstart KotOR III NOW!
Disney is a multi-billion dollar juggernaut, they are not going to take kindly to some guys saying "let us take your IP and then give you a cut of hypothetical profits". There's a reason Disney went with EA.

OMG YAY I GOT CANCER
Jesus, dude. Take care of yourself. This isn't a game.

If you forget it's even there, I would say that's not a waste of resources at all. What do you mean? It's a separate game mode I never use, it looks like a waste to me. Of course, it might not be to other people. A good use of MP should be complimentary.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Ah yes, the prerequisite "if you like what I don't, it is a mark on your character" post. We get it, you don't like the game. Constantly posting in the thread isn't going to make other people like it any less.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
A forum is nowhere near a good sample of your audience - financially or otherwise. Are you implying that DA:I only has sold a few thousand? How many of those 650 are the same person?

Dragon Age: Inquisition
1) Too late, you're in a 14-page long thread. I think we're playing it. 2) More bad news: this is the kind of game BW has wanted to make since forever. "GTA meets RPG" has always been the MO.

Collector's Editon Map (horrible)
I'd assume this would be near impossible to do if the only reason Paradox signed on in the first place was to be able to foot the bill for rewards.

Party Dialogue Checks?!?!
Yeah, it's really jarring and I hope they change this in the future.

A proposal -- the community can contribute if the code if open-sourced
And this is never going to happen. Especially with a game they created to try to become not only financially stable but financially independent. TF2 only went free because the TF2 shop and Steam make Valve money hand over foot.

As well as bad for companies in general. There are a reason why things like NDA and copyright law exist. There's a reason why newbie writers can't just pitch a Batman story to a DC Exec at a personal lunch.

PoE Sales?
Oh please, stop thinking that Pillars will sell "a million" . What means it anyway? If the number of sold copies will raise significantly in the future then because of 60 oer 80% sales. The mayor turnover already happened, the important sale time is over. Obsidian made about 10 Million $, i thinks thats ok for an extremly niche game like Pillars. Relative high sale numbers like LoG 1 or D:OS where exceptionsm, there is a reason why the "cRPG" grenre is dead and crowdfuning was needed. This kind of gamers are now the main clientele for rpg´s : What exactly is the problem with "that kind of gamers?" All I see is a bunch of dudes holding controllers and a judgemental prick. Console Gamers, PPL that loves to "beat" games, Person with a low attention span, that expect hand holding, "social awareness" and epic presentation. I have no problem with them, except for the fact that this means that most games today are made for idiots. You really, really underestimate how much time is spent in game dev streamlining and compacting the gameplay and the mechanics as much as possible. Also, I'm autistic. I have low social awareness. So I'm not supposed to like PoE? What about those with ADHD? And you have no problem with them and yet you call those kinds of players idiots?
