I'm not unreasonable. Here is a list of games where the females look great, some of these games have gay content and I have no problem with it: - Kotor 1 - Baldurs Gate - Mass Effect 1,2,3 - Dragon Age Origins - Dragon Age 2 - Witcher series - Skyrim (especially with mods) - POE (Calsica's Portrait, a majority of female portraits of beautiful feminine looking women) Games where the females are ugly and romance options for straight male gamers look like mannish, butch lesbians: - Dragon Age Inquisition As you can see, I've only had this problem with one game in my entire gaming history. Inquisition catered highly to feminists & gay men, then as a side effect, the women somehow all became ugly. There's a link there. Break it down logically by comparing Inquisition to all the games I've listed that I've enjoyed. I never ever want what was done to Inquisition to spread to other games, I'm just voicing my opinion as much as I can in hopes that this disease never spreads and infects other quality games. I'm also here to remind Obsidian that there are lots of gamers like me out there, but some like me don't want to be politically incorrect. Dragon Age Origins followed this formula to a certain degree as well. The problem is EA/Bioware made a game that steers so far away from the original that it crosses into the bait & switch category. Odema should've had a female prostitute employed to service anyone in the caravan, as incentive for people to travel with him. Given that Odema cares about who he escorts to and fro, it would make sense for him to have a prostitute along just in case the travelers feel the need. After sleeping with the prostitute you should unlock some kind of neat witcher style card: You should alternatively have the option to liberate a woman from a life of prostitution and only if she asks. This leads to a few different outcomes that are both dark & twisted. (I do not condone prostitution in real life). Romance options are fun, and they attract more female gamers. However, I've learned that having female gamers can BACKFIRE. Bioware made all the females in Inquisition look ugly (except morrigan & leliana) to appease the gays & feminists. They also made sure all the women in Inquisition were ugly so the female gamers don't feel insecure about their looks in real life. Doing this ended up attracting the LGBT community & more female gamers, but at the expense of content for straight males. As long as Obsidian stays strong with their balls intact, then yes, by all means add romance options. Just remember to NEVER be politically correct when adding romance options, AND DO NOT CAVE IN TO THE WOMEN OR GAYS, BE STRONG. Your priority should always be: 1. Straight male gamers FIRST 2. Women second 3. Gays LAST. The following two romance types will APPEASE everyone: 1) Highly attractive tramp female companion. 2) Highly attractive a-hole male companion. Then make them both bi-sexual, DONE, simple. That will cater to just about everyone who doesn't have a fetish for ugly people or some kind of weird political agenda. IMPORTANT: Make sure the player has the option to kill any of the above companions if they don't like them.

Don't forget you can enchant clothing to give it a boost: This is dyrwoodan clothing, looks good on the female characters. Added FINE to it for +2 damage reduction and a +1 dexterity bonus. It's the firing animation and sound effects, it's just so fulfilling in addition to the DR bypass. It feels good penetrating those shades (lol). You can equip both arq & arb if you want in both slots and use them according to the situation. The soldier focus gives accuracy to both I believe. LOL, I just saw this woops. What do you guys think of this idea? Be honest. Chances are Obsidian is going to release an expansion pack for this game. If part of that expansion pack was allowing the game to be more mod friendly, would that be okay? Anyone who wants to enjoy mods has to buy the expansion pack or something? It's all about opening up those unity3d files somehow and giving us easy access to modify them. Expansions are usually $29.99 or something? Yay or nay?

On POTD, TOI difficulty survival skill is important, to prolong duration of food. But, I wouldn't mind seeing it be a bit more beneficial as suggested by the OP.

It should cost 25c for every person to rest at an inn. Party of 5 = 125c Solo = 25c There has to be some kind of resource allocated to resting. Resting with NPC's should only be allowed once or something. Resting for free is just way too exploitable, unless it was intended to be used A LOT. If resting for free was intended to be used as often as you want, then you might as well make all spells per encounter instead of per rest. I find myself resting after every fight or every other 2 fights on POTD, TOI, blind playthrough. Imagine if all the food at the tavern was free too, it would be overpowered, instead there is a money sink for the benefits of food. Shouldn't there be a money sync for the benefits of resting? Easy = FREE resting Normal Difficulty = 5c per companion Hard = 10c per companion POTD = 25c per companion To make it lore friendly, once Urgeant says a certain something, then the innkeeper starts charging you to rest at the inn. I WISH THIS GAME WAS MODDABLE.

Have you tried doing a sneak attack + backstab w/Arquebus, I wonder how devastating that would be lol.

I wouldn't mind being able to escape, but like he said there has to be harsh penalties for doing so. HARSH. Penalties * Two real time hours of -20 accuracy due to low morale. * If you keep escaping combat, your party members start to leave permanently. * You gain a reputation as coward and are made fun of by NPC's.

You could probably add this new version as a mod with simple override of existing ogg music file. If the game was moddable we could actually add the bard NPC with a guitar playing animation.

I'll say this again, for a POTD, TOI, blind play through, ranger is the best class. Someone please PROVE ME WRONG.

I want to give an update. This build isn't that great, especially if you want to have a few drinks while you play. Out of all the classes I've tried, I definitely like Ranger the best. If anyone else agrees, I'm going to delete all this info. This build requires far too much micro management. Sometimes I just want to go on a rampage and kill everything. The ranger build let me do that.

Just want to say, out of all the builds I've made, this one is the best IMO and my favorite. Ranger is extremely powerful and seems to be great for POTD, TOI, blind IMO.

I wouldn't mind a spiritual successor to Dragon Age Origins developed by Obsidian, maybe in five years?

POE got me into this genre of gaming. I never played Baldurs Gate unfortunately, but I hear it was brilliant. I did not like Divinity Original Sin because the story just seemed all over the place and there was just too much reading. The game is full of insta death scenarios as well which break immersion.

Why is everyone against all the voice acting. I enjoyed Calsica's, Durance, Eder, Aloth's VO, I thought they were well done.
