  1. Retrain the rogue to remove it. If you instead want to keep Shadow Step while you wait for a patch: while in combat select Devil, press "A" (force attack), click Devil, click Shadow Step.
  2. Shadow Step is bugged. Devil's Shadow Step is labeled Modal, but it's also a combat only ability and 1 for fight. Once you activate Shadow Step in a fight, you can't disable it inside that same combat (1 use) or just after (combat only). The next fight the attack icon (sword) changes into something else and the party becomes unresponsive. Work-around 1: Retrain Devil to remove Shadow Step. Work-around 2: In a fight, game not paused, Force Attack* Devil to auto-cast Shadow Step. That should give you back the control of the party. At this point Shadow Step should be in recharge, and with a counter of 1. Disable it. *shortcut A - ignore the icon
  3. Guess the bug gets mixed up with something else. There is a repetition of the null reference exception when I use the party UI with my other saves. The work-around is pretty similar anyways. Saving-Title Screen-Loading.
  4. Whatever it's causing the UI glitch, once triggered in DeHavilan save it persisted after loading one of my saves, until I returned to the title screen.
  5. As a short term project, they could do something like those horrors games they played on twitch.
  6. "Saved Games" is one of the OS default directories even in Windows 7 (I'm using it). Unless something weird happened to the game installation, the saves are there. However, when the OS is in a language other than english "Saved Games" and "Users" are translated, and that can make less obvious locate them. The Run command bypass that, or at least it should.
  7. Something about "frondes"? frondoso? just to avoid fetus.
  8. To find your savegames type in "Run" (shortcut Windows Key+R): %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Pillars of Eternity
  9. Have you tried GOG Galaxy repair function? Just to be safe, make a backup of your PoE folder before launching Galaxy.
  10. ffs! I didn't know you could do that! I gave up on binding stuff from the backpack after failing to bind potions and figurines. Not perfect but something at least.
  11. The OP is hoping for a way to mod the bar to make it more like the old one. Shortcuts are handy, but don't help you to remember you have a certain object equipped, where object icons do.
  12. I understand that. Since they decided to hide the consumables in the action bar submenu I always forget to use them. The combat starts, and whoosh, everything about figurines, scrolls, potions disappears from my mind, or I remember too late to use them at full potential. So, you see, a shortcuts wouldn't help, while a visual reminder - like the object icons right in front of my eyes - would.
  13. If you speak with Wenan again, can you see the line "2. About that invitation to the animancy hearings..." ? Should the line be gray click it anyway.
  14. You are not alone! http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/88092-psychic-backlash-bug-cipher-use-it-on-himself-at-the-begining-of-battle/
  15. There is this report too: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86019-game-returns-to-main-menu-when-enter-2-floor-of-bright-hollow-after-installing-wm-12/ Going upstairs sends the game to the main menu. Adding Durance to the party is enough to get around the bug in that save.
  16. Double click a event line (not the support link) to open the event details. Those error messages sometimes can help. Not always.
  17. In the performance monitor, on the left, right click the "maintenance" folder, it could be hidden there. Or you can try this: windows key + R (to open Run) perfmon /rel
  18. The path is again different for Mac (instructions taken from this post):
  19. For windows users the file is called output_log.txt. You can find it in the installation directory, under \Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\
  20. Julle, could you also post the output_log.txt? Can help the developers to find out what it's wrong with the game.
  21. They could be using existing characters as placeholders - to test new armors, animations, quest scripts... A part of me is "**** the endings, they are just potential futures, give me back my party" but I doubt it will happen.
  22. Huge head, minor problem. Compared to all the other companions in big head mode Manhea's face seems very stretched. Like it was not loading the correct texture? Or it's just me?
  23. Well, the game should run with just an intel graphic card - got a i5 myself - so it's not that alone. I thought it could be the switching between the cards, but I can't really say.
