  1. I'd love a ship but I doubt we'd be spending much time at ports.
  2. Don't shoot me but I wouldn't mind some George R. R. Martin style writing as far as 'romance' goes Sansa / Sandor Jaime / Cersei Jaime / Brienne Arianne Martell / Aerys Oakheart hell yeah. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVfDgQdpgdc (and oh god, not the tv show)
  3. I liked the Baldur's Gate style of voice acting. Every character had a line they spoke when clicked on and some muttered random things as you walked by. Important characters had more voice.
  4. Infinity Engine style seems to me fixed isometric camera with some rendered (or possible artistic) cutscenes for important (ie opening / closing) parts of the game.
  5. I don't really care as long as they're good.
  6. Voted No. but hey you never know who they're going to hire to help make the game
  7. LET THEM PICK THE SYSTEM. PS:T and KOTOR2 had good dialogue systems, I'm sure they can do it again.
  8. I guess I can actually say here, that even despite being unfinished, KotOR 2 was way better than KotOR 1, and not get bashed on the forums (unlike other places :D)
  9. Shiiiiiiet, if only I could track down a copy of that. Lustmord rules. I always thought Dargaard would be awesome music for a fantasy-themed product as well, YMMV. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3Zy9PlIcWA This one always made me think of the Throne of Bhaal opening scene in the Ancient Grove. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1elbYV59Qo
  10. TBH they probably would get more if the $20 pledge wasn't limited to 25,000 (this is the one I chose).
  11. The main three they mentioned. Who wouldn't want a game that combined those three elements? It will be hard to do though (get a good mix of the three).
  12. You're right I should have included the word 'kinda'
  13. Nope. Infinity Engine style is 100% fine by me. I do enjoy turn-based though, so I backed Wasteland 2. You can also make the IE games turn based, in the pause options there's an option to pause at the start of each round.
  14. You Must Gather Your Party Before Venturing Forth
  15. Yeah I won't mind at all if all you're required to do with the melee fighters is just click on an enemy. It is the premeditation beforehand that matters. I just don't like the new 'roles' style of play where you have tanks, dps/carries and supports (MMOs, D&D 4th Ed) [although I love dota!]. To be honest I don't really care as long as the system is good and it requires mastery of the rules and mechanics to learn.
  16. Making the game too easy (screw difficulty sliders too, I want something that requires me to learn the game mechanics to win, not just be able to win first go)
  17. And the sound quality. For audio obsessed people like me. They could just give you the source wav files in FLAC format, I bought Dead Can Dance - Anastasis via Digital Download recently in FLAC and it sounds amazing.
  18. Shoot me if the combat is anything like WoW or Dragon Age. no thanks.
  19. There doesn't need to be romances, but I did like some of The Witcher's quest rewards!
  20. I just hope it's not like Dragon Age. God that was awful combat.
  21. Pre-rendered 2D art > 3D modelling It's also probably cheaper. Which means more content!
  22. Glad to see that one of the 'bigger' developers has seen the light. There are many of us that have been pulling our hair out at the 95% of RPG releases in the last 10 years. Thankyou for going the crowd-sourced route.
