  1. Have you played MOO and its sequel? Also Stars! is absolutely awesome, just completely devoid of graphical bling.
  2. Isn't Bilal still working on the Hatzfeld books? Good stuff is still being done. Massimiliano Frezzato would be a good example of an excellent comic book artist. Also, Val
  3. Moebius and Bilal are still alive and kicking. And good stuff is still being done in Europe.
  4. It's today.
  5. And then there's this style of doing business. By the way, why isn't there a big RPG company actively working the niche RPG market like Paradox does for strategy?
  6. Watching some Bayonetta videos got me to install DMC3 again. Check out what it says at the end of the installation, regarding WMP: Stellar work right there.
  7. I remember seeing a lot of returned Torment copies in stores here in Portugal. I think a lot of people actually didn't like it.
  8. For any time, Sargy. It's one of the best games ever.
  9. That's because it's Miyazaki. Miyazaki is the anime equivelant of Pixar - there's something for everyone to enjoy. Pixar is awesome and all, but they really aren't in the same league as Miyazaki. And John Lasseter agrees with me. Howl's Moving Castle is not the best Miyazaki movie by a long shot but it's still better than pretty much any animated feature not by Miyazaki from the past 10 years. See, quality is not at all the comparison I tried to make. I meant as in both their animated movies are almost universally well-liked because everyone can find something enjoyable in them. (Although I have to say that yes, while Miyazaki is usually way out of Pixar's league, Pixar has it's moments of triumph. For example, the first segment of Up goes toe to toe with anything Miyazaki has to offer IMO). I have to admit though, Princess Mononoke is my favourite animated feature of all time. (Also, I agree with Pidesco, including the part about Grave of the Fireflies. Be warned though, that film has brought many a grown man to outright weeping!) I definitely agree about Up. The introductory segment about Carl's life was quite simply magical. Up is just a bit disappointing after it turns into action adventure mode. A similar thing happened with Wall-e. Anyway, Pixar's animation skills are nothing short of awesome. The bird in Up, for example, was incredible. I am not ashamed to say that Grave of the Fireflies had me crying like a little girl.
  10. My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke are probably the best ones, and simply essential. If you're into animation, then you should see all of them and throw in Takahata's Grave of the Fireflies for good measure. I'll be seeing Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea later today.
  11. Double post? I don't see no double post nowhere.

  13. It makes the kids seem like kids, instead of sanitized, Hollywood versions of children?
  14. Like everything, it's all about how you use it.
  15. I second that. The first Quake and the first Worms were also little bits of awesomeness. Oh, and Unreal Tournament.
  16. Totally! Female, even!
  17. I had sex! It was scary in an awesome way! And unexplainable as it wasn't a commercial transaction! And it has happened a bunch of times! And with several different people! And I'm not lying nor on drugs! I'm special!
  18. Yeah. You're still a nerd for posting in a game forum. No way around it.
  19. Into The Wild Great. Perhaps the best travel movie I've seen. Sean Penn really turned into an accomplished director. Also, I really enjoyed Jena Malone as the narrator.
  20. Its action RPG, it has 3rd person camera, it uses Unreal Engine 3, it has somewhat similar dialogue and RPG systems, the main character is male with short hair, ... Mass Effect, however, is a squad based action game, and doesn't have proper melee combat, nor stealth. Not a clone, unless you think that, say, Torment is a clone of Baldur's Gate.
  21. AP isn't a clone of Mass Effect, except in the sense that both games belong to roughly the same genre.
  22. There could be a secret game mode where every single dialogue has only those 4 options. Even if you're talking to the President of Taiwan.
  23. Mass Effect was KOTOR, but with better combat.
  24. Kirottu?
  25. No M/F/F/M/F/M/MF/HG romance option in Dragon Age? Clearly, Bioware discriminates against minorities.
