Hmm, during the weekdays I just go to work and go to the gym during the evenings. I used to be overweight and very unhealthy, so now my health is an important part of my life. So basically I work, eat dinner and go to the gym. Then when I get home I play games for about an hour. I'm playing God of War right now and quite frankly the game rocks. It's been a long time since I've been so enamored with a game. During the weekends if I can get off my lazy ass I usually drive to some cool hiking trails and spend the day there. I love hiking and especially climbing up big rocks and trees. I really want to try my hand at real rock climbing. I'm sure I'll get around to it like I always do. Wow...I just realized I'm the most boring person ever. I'm pretty happy though!

This is why I'm planning to change my career to the natural sciences.

I remember watching Police Academy 3 back in the day over and over and over. There was something about that Japanese recruit, sound effects guy and other stuff that seemed incredibly funny to my 10 year old mind.

I'm very interested in this game after visiting the site. The story sounds especially intriguing.

I never heard the name Zoe before. What does it mean? Good Luck on the baby!

Women have no honor?!

Though I'd been playing games years before, I think the one game that really got me hooked into video games was Ninja Gaiden for the NES. The cinematic storytelling, ninja abilities, the ability to stick to walls and sword slashing action really made an impression.

I used to steal dirty videos from my local video store when I was in the 6th grade. I was pretty damn good at it. Needless to say I was pretty popular among the my fellow school friends. I once set fire to a entire field of endangered butterfly species. It started innocently enough with me trying to burn a caterpillar with a match. I had a bit of pyromania back then. When the flames started leaping up out of my control I hightailed it out of there as fast as I could I was slept with a dog when I was raging drunk...but it's not what you think!

I must be out of the loop. I have no idea who Creed is. I don't know who Nickelback is either. Oh well. Everyone has their ups and downs.

Revan & the Exile's gender/alignment
Azure79 replied to GhostofAnakin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Thanks for the clarification GoA. I don't have that much of an attachment to my Exile Character compared to my Revan Character. I'll just play K2 as female once the restoration project is completed and regard that as my 'official game'. What Laozi says makes sense. Women to seem to have a penchant for nagging intentional or not. I like that thought of nagging a Sith Lord to Death. -
I actually prefer Soul Calibur over Tekken solely because the game is pretty easy to learn and handle and very intuitive once you get the basics down. This makes it easier for most of my friends, who aren't avid gamers, to jump in play.

The Soul Calibur girls are the prettiest.

Too funny for words. -
No one likes raven black hair? Long silky black hair cascading down a lovely asian face?

I want Starcraft 2 too.

I guess that would depend on the mutation. Supercool healing factor...no medical expenses ever! Flame on Power! = Increased premiums on every insurance payment you make. YAY!

What's the prize? There has to be a prize! Got any names thought up for your bundle of joy/neverending expenses?

Ground Red Pepper. mmmmmmmmm

After an explosion, I think everyone would be too shocked and disoriented to react right away, especially to someone running away from the scene, which would probably look like the most rational response. I probably would have said yes to this question a few years ago, but I've had unique experience involving a monk and a very sharp sword that pretty much showed I was a chicken****, so no, I probably wouldn't run after the suspected culprit if I thought I would die. I would throw hard objects at the bombers fleeing head though. However, if someone I care for was threatened by the fleeing bomber, then I would probably give chase. I have a pretty strong sense of duty to those I care about.

It's not over yet. There's still some major encounters that still need to be resolved. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are there any more anime versions of it in the works? I'm too lazy to try the comics. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, don't really know. The Anime ends with the great betrayal which you can probably see as the end of the first half. The story up to that point is pretty good. I actually like it more than the later parts.

Did anyone mention Berserk by Kenturo Miura yet? By far my favorite manga. The artwork, story, character development and action are just amazing. I believe Dark Horse publishes it in the States. I read the korean translated versions, and the english translations are done fairly well. They have an animated series too. Not as great as the manga itself but it's close. I enjoy japanese mangas because they have so much variety to them compared to the super-hero centric western comics. Everything from historical mangas, basketball, judo, gambling, pirates, sci-fi, martial arts and much more are all there just begging to be read. One of my favorite manga artists is Takehiko Inoue probably most famous for the manga SLAMDUNK. It's a hilarious basketball manga. He's currently drawing and writing the manga, Vagabond. It's a retelling of Miyamoto Musashi's younger wandering years. It's been awesome so far. Another favorite of mine is titled, The Fighting. It's a boxing themed manga that spans over 70 volumes and the story still has a way to go! I'm not sure if they have this in the US though. It's been made into a animated series as well though I've neve seen it.

I liked it.

CPA, and yes it is boring as hell. Well not exactly boring, but I get the sense there are more meaningful things to do in life. I'm looking into going back to school to study Biology. I'm only 25 so I have time to change careers...right?

I'd like to see a accomplished wrestler go against a boxer.
