why would they denie cuztomizable robes? they couldve did some "force empower" or enchant type thing to make them better, oh well...

i could care less about the PC's lightsaber, just gimme one. im pretty sure that your gonna fight some sith on the first planet or somewhere 5-6 hours in the game (much like the time frame when you got a lightsaber in the first game).

on the same line though, MP also tends to somewhat dilute the impact of the story in the game. While you may get some replayability beyond all the various permutations of the SP game, the overall story of the game suffers. And I think that most people on this forum would prefer a stronger storyline than MP options. EDIT: And I disagree about the '1 playthrough' concept of K1. LS and DS are two playthroughs right there, as well as the romantic options, slightly different male/female options and more. I've played through K1 at least five times, and I know lots of folks on these forums who have played through it more. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> and if they did decide to put in mp it might shoot back development time a couple of months. we might not have gotten it till after RotS. i can't wait till i get halo 2 personally...

i was rather fond of the "jedi assault squads"...no one could stop revan, juhani, and jolee in my game. it does seem like a cool idea to train ppl though, i wonder how that's gonna play out, only approx 3 weeks left. i haven't been this excited by a game since KotOR

i'm referring to the movie here not the game. someone at bungie had balls enough to leak halo 2 about a month before release...do you think someone at lucasfilms has em?

when the first KotOR was released there was a lot more info given to the fans about that game, than is being given to us right now...no complaints here though, dec. 6 is just around the corner...

if anything i'd say form II; in an era where both jedi and sith run rampant it would be essential for survival for both parties to place more emphasis on dueling techniques. a jedi doesn't really need all those other forms because what other force could be a match for a jedi that doesn't use a lightsaber?

Form VII shouldn't be an option. It wasn't created 'till the prequel trilogy era by Mace Windu and Sora Bulq.

went to la to see some of TSL info, and looky looky... it looks to be pretty promising, just hope they don't mess it up...and for christ sakes someone give a SW game to someone with some rep (team ninja comes to mind)

i believe lucasarts has already stated that TSL will be released Dec. 6, it should be, they pushed everything back to bring this to us early on xbox. be kinda messed up if they didn't deliver.

kotor, jedi outcast comes in second, i didn't know jedi outcast had been out for awhile until a friend recommended it to me. this was a short while before kotor was release and i was in "fiend" mode for it. jedi academy was pretty good with new features and stuff but was lacking something that the first game possessed, maybe it was kyle katarn

it should be better than the first one. the same engine is being used and has been tweaked, more force powers, more feats, improved gameplay animations, more weapon customization, improved graphical effects, the list goes on and on. the only gripe reviewers might have is that the story doesn't match up to the original one, thats the only thing i can think of as everything that was a problem in the first has been addressed in the second game. im not expecting it to win as many game of the year awards as the first (if it gets any at all) because of the hype surrounding Halo 2 and GTA: San Andreas, not saying that TSL is not as good a game because i found KOTOR to be much more enjoyable than Halo, with the two previous GTA's coming in a close second (lets be honest here, GTA 3 and Vice City are damn good games). so with this said, gameplay wise, TSL should be at least as good as the first one, because in actuality it is the first game with more features and a new story...just like halo 2 is halo 1 with new features and a new story, and gta: san anadreas is a new gta: vc with new features and a new story. everything that made those games good are still intact in the sequels with more stuff tacked on, so TSL can't go anywhere but up :D

there were more than Bane that survived, there was a little girl (who i think later becomes the Dark Woman in the Republic series) and a boy who came to that planet as a pitstop before going to be trained as jedi...the weapon you were referring to was not actually a weapon but a "Thought Bomb" if I remember correctly, this encased every Jedi\Sith on the planet in an egg-like cocoon who weren't able to resist its effects (everyone except Bane, little girl and boy) and only another Jedi could release them. Bane tried to reason with them but the arrogance and power struggle between the dark sith lords ultimately led to this. If I remember right Bane then found a ship and traveled to Onderon to a sith temple where Darth Oodis and Darth Kraal (I dont know if these are the right ppl) spoke to Bane. Kraal, who also caused the demise of the entire sith faction with the thought bomb, criticized Bane for not dying with them as well did Oodis I think, they crashed his plane on the planet but Bane used the force to protect himself and keep the aircraft intact, he then went into the temple, got a creature attached to him permanently (obelisk i think), retrieved the holocron, and the rest is history...Bane was the only person to realize that the only way for the Sith to thrive was for there to be only two, and the rest is history...I'm a little rusty on this I apologize, you should pick up the Jedi vs. Sith comics by dark horse, it explains this.

That's not true!!! Haven't you ever hear the old saying "the best offense is good defense. Yoda himself said that the darkside was not stronger: Luke- Is the darkside stronger? Yoda- No, no. But it's the easier, more seductive. IIRC. So <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well Mr. Lucas himself has stated that the darkside was the stronger, take that how u want it, most star wars fans do :D, this is a minor gripe but i'd really like if u were able to go on massive killing sprees a la morrowind, where u can start killing folks in public and the guards would come get u, i think this would affect the story line in killing vital npc's but i don't know how morrowind got around it so its possible, there's not really much that can be improved on imho that the developers haven't already mentioned, KotOR was an excellent game and so will be TSL

i wish there were some easier mods for the xbox version...
