  1. fine bastards ill take it off!!! sheesh...
  2. Get rid of that stupid f*cken signature <{POST_SNAPBACK}> give me a better one and i'll take it off. until then (or one of the mods say so) u can **** off.
  3. yea that was cool as hell. the music score was right on. i noticed some added affects too, like on 'insanity' there were purple lines swirling around the enemy which weren't present in the first game. one more day 'til the review...4 more til the game.
  4. hmmm, im currently on manaan right now so i should encounter him soon. but i think the guy ur referring to is in gold armor and is in the bar on manaan on the west side i think. he's near the selkath who gives you the side-quest to go in the sith embassy and find out what's going on so the republic can get an advantage. and also if i recall correctly that echani guy was quite crazy, kinda a parallel of canderous. btw, thx for the info mr. avellone. if you keep giving away secrets like this you can expect a break-in at obsidian in the near future
  5. you know that walmart has KotOR: TSL on the shelves and you haven't bought it?!?! THE INSANITY!!!!
  6. its star wars so i want it , plus i loved the first game so the only logical choice is to get the second one.
  7. we'll see if he's honest or not after he gets off the first planet, as that's mostly whats been stated in previews, etc. i'd like some more info on the prestige classes and lightsaber\force stance, but by the time he probably gets there it's gonna be monday. unless he plays it all day like i did with the first installment :D dont be so quick to rule out the possibility that he does have the game, ive heard some stores (walmart) has copies of the game already.
  8. i think it'll get a 9.7 :D , lowest possible score a 9.3 the IGN review.
  9. the empire was so strong under palpatine because he was manipulating everything, he got the republic to pay for his troopers, and he got the separitists to go to war, bringing the whole galaxy into chaos. the clone wars dwindled the jedi numbers and after they're gone who is gonna be able to stop a sith?
  10. come on you guys, no matter how much we like TSL, halo 2 is gettin all the awards for this year. no way it couldn't. too much hype surrounding a game, which in my opinion is kinda overrated but still fun nonetheless.
  11. I can't imagine that it's a common use power. i mean battle meditation is used to inspire armies and fleets. and it takes time to prepare, according to kotor1. but i'll have to wauit untill february to find out <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ur gonna wait 'til feb? i got an xbox just for KotOR, you should do the same. i thought battle meditation could only be used on large fleets, not for small battles. maybe that hints at something :D
  12. damn, looks like im playin this game 10-15 times :D
  13. i really dont care about xbox live (although i would've like to have those two extra crystals in the first game), there's some more feats, force powers, more dialogue options and character involvement, something that you can't get with xbox live. they put all the good stuff in on their first try, don't see anything else that can be added. and they've already added a lot of stuff that has been requested, i.e. more lightsaber colors and robes. what else more do you want? just be thankful obsidian didn't remove anything else, like deciding to use a different engine, which would have ruined the game in my opinion.
  14. i really wanna see that video-dvd strategy guide, looks damn good. i wish they would've release kotor sometime this week, i've got finals all next week. damn professors...
  15. i got an snes, n64, psx, mame and neogeo emulator on my xbox, not to mention xbox media center...beat that Thingolfin...
  16. o, ok, i didn't add in the lightside, but you can only play one side at a time so its still 6...
  17. They also took the worse aspects, the munchkinized force classes, and increased them threefold. From 3 Munchkin classes we now have 9 with little variance in gameplay. That is most definitely on the road of making the game worse. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i thought there were only 3 classes for ur PC? 3 jedi classes to choose from and 3 prestige classes. there's going to be a lot of variance in gameplay, dont forget about the lightsaber styles either :D come on hades get excited, it's 6 days away! listen to me, im tellin some guy with "Hades" in his name to get excited...
  18. xbox: deathrow hitman contracts jedi outcast need for speed underground need for speed underground 2 ninja gaiden KotOR Splinter Cell Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow Halo Rainbow Six 3 NBA Street Vol 2 Unreal Championship Xmen Legends Marvel vs Capcom 2 Fight Night 2004 max payne 2 spiderman spiderman 2 ...so im cool 'til TSL comes out :D
  19. that's not bad at all. at least they didn't push it back to february (no pun intended).
  20. Most excellent find, I can't wait til this game comes out! I wonder what new force powers that IGN will show us? :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i can't wait for the review IGN is gonna give out this friday. i predict TSL will get at least a 9.0. "In the coming days, look for new details on the differences between the Dark and Light Side in KOTOR 2 and a look at some new Force powers. " -IGN i can't wait to see the new info IGN has in store. hopefully they'll have some new info tomorrow.
  21. a video strategy guide? is that the first of its kind? it looks very enticing...
  22. <--, vassius cral (random char name generated by first game), Dace Diath, Ulic QelDroma, Ramsus, i don't know which one to choose from. im probably gonna go with good ol' dace diath for my first char. ill let you know when the game comes out .
  23. thank you dammit...now there's a dilemma, listen to them whine (i hated carth's lack of faith, i really wished to kill him at the end of the game) or get some good sheet... decisions, decisions... too many decisions in this damn game... btw, thx for the info Mr. Avellone and i wish you success on your next project...
  24. maybe he's of the believed to be extinct race which brought hyperspace travel to the galaxy...
  25. Yeah... Here's what's in the game: Aggressive - This AI script is pretty much unchanged from the DEFAULT behavior in KotOR1. Ranged Support - This AI script makes it so that the character will stay close to whoever is leading the party. If you set them up with a Ranged Weapon configuration and a Melee weapon configuration, they will stick to using the Ranged weapon set unless they get attacked by an enemy using melee, in which case they will switch to their melee weapons to fight back (to avoid suffering the penalties of using ranged weapons when someone is hitting you with melee). After a round or two of being left alone, they will switch back to ranged weapons. Stationary - This AI mode will stick to using whatever weapons you have them set to use, and will not move from their spot once combat starts. Ideal for characters using ranged weapons that you don't want switching to melee under any circumstances. Grenadier - Same as in KotOR1. Jedi Support - Same as in KotOR1, except they stay within a limited distance from whoever is leading the party. Also, they should no longer keep using buffs over and over again when they've already cast a buff on you. Also, they should use more of the buffs that they've learned, rather than just a limited selection of them. -Akari <{POST_SNAPBACK}> thx for the info, i had issues with the ranged ppl not stayin far enough back in the first game, looks like you guys have solved that. how do you feel about The Sith Lords as a game akari, if you dont mind me asking? so whats up next for you?
