I hope there is a lot of ways I can spend my money and gt non-material stuff as a reward. Like donating a lot to charity, or starting my own charity, that makes poor people like me more. Or buying a noble title, stuff like that -
What the heck is CAD? Use a real currency Thanks to the world economic crisis, our Monopoly money has been upgraded to Confederacy Dollars. Heck, Iceland was considerig tying their currency to ours because they wanted nothing to do with the Eurozone and USD was too uncertain.

It varies by province in Canada. In BC we have to pay for medical, but its 60 bucks a month, but pretty much any job that isn't a minimum wage service job will pay half or all of it. That covers doctor visits, non-elective surgery, hospital visits, etc. Not covered by basic medical is things like ambulance service, physiotherapy, and prescriptions. The wife has extended medical through her work that covers most of that though. Essentially what we have to pay for is 20% of our prescription costs, and major dental work.

No, they don't have any HBO. HBO has their own streaming service only available to cable subscribers

I'm 31 and have 8 of those... -
Ok, so Kickstarters are only contractually obligated to fulfill pledge rewards, if the reward states "a copy of the game when it is released" but its never released, would that wording be enough to get them out of having to provide refunds?

If Obsidian kickstarts a space opera RPG, would you back it?

I would argue that amnesia is a worse narrative device. And this is coming from someone who loves both Amnesia: The Dark Descent (haven't played the new one yet) and The Witcher series. I think I can agree with you that amnesia is a pretty awful plot device, too. Very often it is pressed into service to rescue lazy writing and plotting. But for me, time travel is just the worst. It is so boring, and it always devolves into an incoherent mess. I can prove you wrong in just four words. Back To The Future! If altering the past creates an alternate divergent timeline, as explained by Emmet Brown, the changes creaed by Marty's actions in BTTF 1 would have created a 2nd Marty, one who grew up in that timeline. As the Marty we know only remembered his own timeline, there should be two Martys, him and the one who existed in the alternate time. BTTF2 shows this is true when they talk about Marty being in Europe in the dystopian 80s. So our Marty is just hanging around in someone elses life waiting to encounter this other Marty. -
If its as good as Icewind Dale I'll be happy. If its as good as BG2 I will be ecstatic. If its better than BG2 then mind blown. This is my greatest fear for project eternity. I really want it to succeed and be the true successor of the IE games.

The Richard Cheese version of The Sickness was the hilight of that movie. Zombie newborn with teeth, not so much.

I did like the space battle mini game though.

So we need education bombs and enlightenment guns. Then we can launch peace and understanding from drones.

that's been my problem with SWTOR, I am enjoying the story, but the MMO gameplay is just so boring. I quit shortly after getting my apprentice in the Sith Warrior run. I just couldn't be bothered to slug through it for the story anymore. If they took the game, and redid the gameplay with single player in mind, and sold it for full price again, I would probably buy it.

Secret World of Arietty. Joined the Disney Movie club so I snagged a bunch of Ghibli films because they expensive. Would have grabbed more than that and Totoro, but the wife wanted to grab some $10 Handy Manny dvds for the little one instead of $35 blue rays at the 40 cent price.

E was my favorite. Not a backer though, so no vote for me.

Mass Effect's explanation was that toxic waste "ELEMENT ZERO" (in elaborate sci-fi font,) causes space magic mutation, mystery solved! How does it work from there? Space magic. Element zero introduced in utero produces nodules that emit mass effect fields when bioelectric currents pass through them. Biotic amps can then be implanted to enhance and control these fields. Its non-science, but not magic. Gameplay-wise its no different than magic, but lore-wise its science. -
What I get from the trailers is that combat will be JRPG-esque, which I'm fine with.

I much prefer newer South Park. Season 15 had a lot of good stuff. You're Getting Old, coupled with Ass Burgers was magic.

A little less Tv headed people, but ghosts and telepathic cats and such would fit right in. -
You must be from Toronto. I've met few people, let alone other canadians who are louder or more obnoxious than you Edit: louder in an internet sense, as you tend totake everything everyone says ever completely literally.

I really don't get the people who get upset with a couple month delay for Kickstarter projects "oh boo hoo, the millions of extra money they got made the game bigger and now I have to wait 2-3 months longer to play it" Every time a game comes out incomplete people whine they should have delayed it and fnished, but if they delay to finish its some sort of unprofessional betrayal.
