What you did today
It was necessary, what was Tommy doing when you shot the Coyote? Well, he was growling at the front door downstairs when they first started yapping around the grill. I was by the loft window upstairs. I had it open but I was back in the room about 1 meter from the window so they wouldn't see me. I watched them for about 5 minutes until a really big one came out and started pushing the others around. I figured he was my guy. Once I shot I think tommy went from growling to barking. I'm not sure. My ears are still ringing from firing from inside a small room! Its quite an amazing story, I live in a big city so something like that happening just sounds surreal. Yet this is a reality that you have do deal with. Really interesting when you think of the different lives we live yet we are similar in many ways I could tell similar stories from cities. Except instead of a coyote it was a drunk and stoned guy in his forties, shouting about his ****. And in the Uk we aren't allowed to ping people like that with a .22 We have Coyotes in the parks in Surrey(BC, suburb of Vancouver), that sometimes wander into people's yards and such. Urban raccoons, skunks, and sometimes the occaisional cougar show up too. Usually animal control gets called instead of controlling the animals yourself though, then again not so many people have the means.

Cooking workshop
Thinly slice some beef and brown it in some taco seasoning. Top them off with that, some sliced or chopped jalapenos, black olives, chopped tomatoes and onions and of course cheese, bake it until the cheese melts and serve with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. End it with some mint ice cream to tone down the onion breath and voila.

What you did today
Daughter's 5th birthday party. Did her up a Hello Kitty cake last night that turned out pretty good. Place is sweltering and the giant fan I was sitting by just stopped.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Do we know the % of players who killed Anders from Bio's datamining? Because killing him was verysatisfying not because he was gay, but because he was a bad person and deserved to die.

What are you playing now?
The day 1 dlc is all the preorder bonuses and such, so if you didn't preorder it you can still get it, you just have to pay. Seems fair to me.
-
What are you playing now?
Usually takes around 2-3 months for paradox stuff to hit 75% off
-
What are you playing now?
Must... fight.. urge.. to.. buy I preordered, and all the DLC I got for preordering and doing the call to arms promo they are now selling for a total of $30, so I feel good about it. Plus I put like 400 hours into EU3
-
What are you playing now?
EUIV, the interface is an overcomplicated mess after the simplicity of EU3, but its probably just gonna take some getting used to

Dragon Age: Inquisition
The only Claudia worth mentioning, natch. Claudia Donovan disagrees.

Kerry's Israeli/Palestinian peace talks
And that's where the problem lies. Israel shouldn't be expanding anything into Palestinian land, and the Palestinians shouldn't be asking for the release of terrorists. Everyones outlook is messed.

This makes me sad and also makes me wonder where jaguars4ever has been.

Movies You've Seen Recently
I believe the main character was mostly based on Jake the Snake Roberts, who thankfully got the help he needed it seems and is starting to get his life on track.

What are you reading?
Reading Wild Cards now. George RR Martin's superhero universe, but I'm not sure exactly how much he writes in it.

The Kickstarter Thread
With publishers taking notice of the success of Kickstarter, I wonder when the nostalgia farming will begin en masse. Activision reviving Sierra and doing 500k-1 million budget adventure games or 3-5 million RPGs would be awesome. Maybe see some Krondor-esque games or an Arcanum sequel

Movies You've Seen Recently
The Smurfs and the Magic Flute (1976) Watched it with the kids, not much of a smurf movie if there are no smurfs until a half hour in, and even then they are supporting characters.

Dragon Age: Inquisition
I prefer Steam, but my big thing with Origin is the only stuff where the price makes it worth getting, I already got elsewhere. The stuff I would consider grabbing on Origin is just way too expensive. $30 for a 4 year old Sims expansion, no thank you. You should be able to buy 3 packs of Sims 3 expansions for $15 bucks by now.

Russia passes more homophobia laws
If the Nazis were allowed to hold the Olympics, theres no way Russia is getting stripped of them. Someone suggested banning the Russian team from their own games though.

Kerry's Israeli/Palestinian peace talks
there's no way a single unitary stae could exist peacefully. A federal state consisting of a jewish state and a palestinian state, with Jerusalem as the federal captital could potentially work in the long run, but would take a lot of work on both ssides, and a good constitution to keep the inevitable arab majority from eventually subjugating the jews.

Wasteland 2 Kickstarter
I tried murdering that criminal noblewoman in Riften while she slept because she pissed me off. It woke the whole house and half of them were immortal, which made me even more angry. Turned out I guess she was immortal because she becomes Jarl if you side with the imperials. Stupid game.
