Problem with Quebec leaving is its the source of 80% of our national identity, history, and symbols. Canada without Quebec is not Canada. Agreed on their bigotry though. Almost as bad as the Swiss.

It was awesome except for the guy who played the lead. He sucked pretty hard. It was like they tried finding the person with the least charisma they could find.

Does anyone else hate that they turned Hurlocks into undead chimps in armor?

I will say that the demo didn't adress any of the fears that I had about the game being less deep. An hour or so of combat split up by Mass Effects lousy dialogue system. Whoop di doo. The Diablo 2 skill tree didn't help.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/...e1907126/page1/ More protests in Iran. Looks like Tunisia and Egypt acted as a warning to the governments in the other countries, because their police/military clamped down pretty hard on these protests.

Michael Rosenbaum's portrayal of LL was the best thing about Smallville.(apart from Erica Durance) Kevin Spacey's portrayal was also quite funny. Agreed. FACTOID! In the Justice League cartoon show Michael Rosenbaum was the voice actor for the Flash. In one of the later episodes (JLU actually) He and Luthor swap brains. "You gonna wash your hands?" "No... 'cause I'm Evil." One of the best episodes of JLU

Guy at work got me into Volbeat. I recommend.

Lucifer being on that list pissed me off. He's not a villain in his book or Sandman.

Speaking as a Canadian from Vancouver, I can say the population here is pretty outraged. And its not a widespread thing, its only one company, that I believe is pretty close to being shut down.

The kindle is already really cheap. Think of it this way, it costs about as much as a bookcase, but allows you to take all the books you store on it everywhere you go. Plus getting books 2 bucks cheaper just by owning one isn't bad either. I really want one, got to play with one a month or so ago. I think eventually they'll figure out a way to combine e-ink and tablet displays so you get the benefits of both.

Why do comments here and elsewhere lead me to think some people believe they're building a giant new city rather than just merging municipalities? Merging municipalities won't increase pollution or whatnot, it will make it easier to regulate and therefore reduce pollution rather than having 12 different policies.

I'm really digging Warehouse 13. Jules Verne being a super-genius and actually building some of the crap they wrote about was pretty sweet. Oh, and also being a hot psycho chick who was frozen in bronze only to be thawed out and try to destroy the world is pretty sweet too. Sanctuary was awesome first season, then they killed off a character simply because there were too many white people on the show. (True story, they wanted to replace her with someone "ethnic" in order to draw more immigrant viewers so they made some lame crap up that ruined the entire series in order to kille her)

Saw Tron Legacy on the weekend. When will this 3D trend die? I enjoyed the hell out of the flick, don't get why its got such a negative reaction from critics. Its like they expected something from Disney to not be a popcorn flick.

Dragon Age 2 Witcher 2 Mass Effect 3 Sims: Medieval Magna Mundi Those are the most likely.

I'd like a modded version of the Star Wars prequels that are good. One bit that would improve Revenge of the Sith would be replacing Palpatine murdering 3 Jedi Council members with single slow clumsy lightsaber stabs with something that both makes the emperor look cool and doesn't make the Jedi Council look like a bunch of novices.

HBO will proceed with GRRM's Ice & Fire Series

The beginning is slow as hell and pretty confusing as well. It'll all pay off later, though... [not an actual spoiler] Its worse when you realize that book 5 is actually the 2nd half of book 4. So he's basically been writing book 4 for like 10 years. And he thinks fans are unreasonable when they tell him to get to work. I mean when his blog is nothing but "I'm going travelling, and when I get back I'm getting ready to go travelling so I can be back in time to go to this convention before I go travelling again and hopefully when my vacation starts I can get to work on that book thingy if football isn't on." Its understandable that fans are irate. He was the lead in the short lived supernatural cop drama New Amsterdam. Wasn't too shabby in it. My concern is a lot of the costumes and props look pretty hokey. Hopefully looks better in the final version rather than production stills. -
The Grand Bishop 16% Strength, 8% Bloodlust, 40% Intelligence, 44% Spirit, 32% Vitality and 32% Agility! Grand Bishops often have few skills with weapons and they are probably the least physically powerful of all the classes. However, they are by no means the weakest class. In fact, Grand Bishops utilize some of the most powerful magic in world: the power to control time. By controlling time, Grand Bishops can change the course of events and defeat opponents that no other class could ever dream of defeating. Although Grand Bishops are supremely powerful spellcasters, they most often use their power for good rather than evil. Those who use their power for evil may abuse their power over time and fall into chaos and oblivion. Although time may be a powerful ally, it requires a great deal of energy and magic to manipulate, so Grand Bishops use this power sparingly. Instead, they more often use their mastery over light magic and the basic elements to battle their foes. Not too shabby.

I've been switching between Dragon Age, New Vegas, and Fable 3, with more focus on New Vegas and Fable 3. Its a shame Obsidian had to use the same engine as FO3. It looked dated in Oblivion. On the Fable side, Peter Molyneux needs to stop buying into his own hype. Its a decent game but not nearly as good as Fable 2, mostly due to overdesigning the interface and the lack of the fantastic score Fable 2 had.

After buying Civ IV I put in probably a good 60 hours in the first few weeks, and in the subsequent years a good couple hundred. I was done with Civ V after maybe 15. I never made it to the modern era as by the time I hit renaissance each turn was: Set construction, hit end turn, wait 5 minutes until AI is done. Diplomacy was crap, UI was crap, taking 25 turns to build my cheapest unit made building armies nigh impossible, and the one unit per tile was more annoying than anything. And when every AI declared war on me in the same turn despite me being like the #4 most powerful civ and being unable to build units quickly in order to defend made that game pretty unenjoyable. All Civ V achieved was making me want to play Civ IV.

The beef I've been having lately with the fallout universe is how it seems like every vault managed to end horribly unless you come from it, and even the stable, populated areas are still wrecked rubble covered messes. You'd think after several generations of living in an area people would have cleaned some of it up by now. Camp McCarran has been the headquarters of the NCR in New Vegas for what, 5 years? And the terminal building and offices and stuff are still covered in broken furniture, litter, etc. You'd think they would have organized a bit. It also had a lack of non-combat personnel. The cook, medic, and two scientists were pretty much the only non-combat personnel in the whole base.

I believe that we don't have the sufficient advancement to understand the creation of the universe, but past evidence shows that sooner or later, we will. Though I likely won't be around for that. Maybe in a couple hundred years if we haven't destroyed each other by then.

http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/wb/suckerpunch/ Zack Snyder's newest. Girls with swords fighting robots, dragons and giant minigun wielding Samurai in WWI. Sounds good to me.
